6 Blabbering Notts

The Slytherins gathered together to walk towards the potion's class, since it was located in the dungeons, they didn't have to hurry to the class, unlike the hufflepuffs who shared the hour with them. Morsia was accompanied by Camille from the lunch hour, they were both munching on licorice wands as they walked.

After the humiliating lunch hour, Annabeth Notts was fuming and planning a way to get back at Morsia. Notts' hate for Her, spread like wildfire across the school and now the Hufflepuffs chuckled at her as they walk past her.

"What the hell!" Notts snarled.

"They side with this new bitch all of a sudden?? I'm the bad guy now??" she gritted her teeth.

Just then she saw Morsia walking toward her, Notts was leaning against a wall. She smirked at her as she casually drew one of her legs forward for Morsia to trip and fell over.

Since the alley was so dark, she was confident that she wouldn't notice. As Morsia came close by her, just as she had anticipated she didn't notice her leg.

Notts felt her bones getting crashed as Morsia hit her leg 'accidentally'. She slopped down immediately grabbing her ankles, and groaning in pain.

"Do you hear something?" Morsia turned towards Notts, her question directed toward Camille.

"No--Nothing at all," Camile responded trying to hold her laugh as she eyed Notts.

Notts' sidekicks were suddenly interested in the walls and floors of the dungeon as her anger tripled while watching Morsia walk away.

"Jeez, Notts what are you doing down here?" Rosier exclaimed as he walked toward her half running.

"Care to help first?" Notts held out her hand and Rosier helped her stand.

"Argh!" She groaned.

'What the fuck did she do to me?'

"Huh, what's up babe?" Rosier asked clueless of what happened earlier.

"Nothing" she snapped at him, limping her way to the potions class.

The potions classroom was eerily majestic. It was dark, enclosed architecture. The students settled themselves in pairs or trios. Morsia looked around avidly while the rest of the class gazed upon her in wonder as if looking at an extra-terrestrial being.

After the lunch hour, the Slytherins seemed to be more welcoming of Morsia, every other fellow Slytherin called out to her to sit beside them. She politely refused all of them and sat on an empty desk. Camille looked at her sorrowfully as she sat at a distant desk from Morsia.

Morsia was sitting at the front desk distancing herself from the rest of the class, their gaze now on the long silky ponytail of hers.

"How can someone be this beautiful?" Avery let out a deep sigh looking longingly at Morsia's back.

Rosier was looking at her too but snapped back when Notts stomped his foot.

"You've got something on your face, Idiot" Rosier told Avery feeling disgusted as if he hadn't been drooling at Morsia a while ago.

"I want to ask her out!" Avery wailed all of a sudden.

"You gotta ask that pig-tail out first" Rosier spanked his head.

"Please, No!" Avery exclaimed looking around and rubbing his head.

It was the short girl, with greasy pigtails from Hufflepuff, Agnus McAllister. Half of the fifth years knew she had a crush on Avery, probably the only one to have a crush on him.

"That's your league" Rosier retorted.

There were whispers of the students filling the entire potion's classroom. Notts looked around to find Riddle missing.

"Hey, Where is Riddle?" she questioned Rosier.

"He is here--There--Where?!" Rosier pointed in multiple directions before realizing Riddle wasn't there with them.

"That's what I'm asking," Notts Raised her brows at her boyfriend.

"Well, I don't know," Rosier shrugged.

"Why do you care? He is not a child!" Avery chimed in as Notts rolled her eyes.

Rosier went back to looking at Morsia's long beautiful hair that swayed magically as she casually tilted her head.

There were cheers as Professor Slughorn emerged from his office, looking joyfully at his students.

"Welcome! Welcome my dear students! To your first potions class of the year!" he cheerfully looked around his class.

Naturally, his gaze fell upon Morsia, who sat solo yet confidently.

"Welcome, Miss. Ravenwood" He nodded to her specifically.

Morsia smiled back and nodded curtly.

"Well, Let's get started then," he turned toward the blackboard to write the ingredients.

He paused mid-way and looked around the class once again looking slightly worried.

"I believe, Riddle is supposed to be here?" he asked the Slytherins who looked at each other.

"He had something urgent to attend to sir, since he's a prefect!" Avery covered up.

"I see" Professor Slughorn turned toward the board looking relieved.

'But I'm a prefect too!' Notts whispered to Avery.

'Shut up!' he snapped back at her.

Rosier looked around pretending to not hear anything as he felt Notts' glare at him.

"We will be making the Babbling Beverage! It's a fun start!" Professor Slughorn giggled at them.

"Miss. Ravenwood, can you guess what could it be?" he asked Morsia trying to get her involved in the new atmosphere.

"Don't even try sir, she only knows how to be a perfect muggle," Notts couldn't help but say something against Morsia.

There was faint laughter from the Slytherin tables.

"Well, then do you know what it is, Miss. Notts?" Slughorn raised his brows at her.

"Why Ofcou-"

"I'm sorry for being late, professor!" Riddle barged in making everyone startle.

Notts turned white at his one hell of an entrance.

"Just in time, Tom-Just in time! Happy to see you again!" Prof. Slughorn remarked more cheerfully as he gestured for him to come forward.

"Thank you for being understanding professor," he said calmly as he settled down at the front desk beside Morsia, without looking.

His heart sank and he felt his body fill with unease as he saw Morsia smiling at him beside him. He quickly turned away his gaze, his face white as snow as if he had seen a ghost.

'Shit, of all people to sit beside' he groaned.

He carefully placed his backpack close to him and started noting down the ingredients on the board.

"Miss. Ravenwood, you can still guess before I continue," Prof. Slughorn reassured her.

"I believe, it's something that makes people blabber?" she answered and there was a roar of cheers from both Slytherins and the Hufflepuffs.

'What the- , this is a basic crap even muggles can guess this much,' Riddle fumed at the actions of his classmates.

Notts was more fuming than he was.
