"A week has passed since they figured out what I did or rather Daphne made me confess as to what I did. Honestly I kinda respect her for it. It was a little diabolical coming from her, I mean I didn't expect it from her, Tracey maybe but not her and the worst thing is that I think she was a little right. I mean I did lie to them and kept them in the dark about the whole thing but I couldn't have told them about the whole thing it wouldn't have be…"

"Why I'm listening to this?" Snape looked at me with confusion and frustration.

I looked at him and shook my head "Oh, that's because no one is talking to me and I'm feeling a little guilty about the whole thing…" I leaned closer to his desk and asked "Were you not listening?"

He sighed and said, "NO and quite frankly you should be talking to someone else about this whole ordeal that you have created for yourself."

I rubbed the arm of the chair while nodding in agreement and leaned back on my chair "I know, but Professor McGonagall is busy with teaching the first year and I don't have the password to Headmasters office."

He shook his head "Still not the answer to my question."

I raised my arms and looked at him scoffing at his words in disbelief "You three are the only one that know, what I did and there fore are the only ones that can help me…" I shifted back in my seat and asked, "And you're a teacher you're supposed to help us with teaching and other stuff."

He scoffed and said, "Barely." He sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose but then quickly clasped his hands "I really am not the person who you should have come to for advice, regarding friends…" He sighed and asked, "Are you sorry for what you did?"

I shook my head and said, "I don't think so… I mean I could have done things differently, but that would have put them in danger and I don't want to do that."

He raised his eyebrows and tilted his head a bit and asked, "And what about yourself?" His question made me think and he continued, "While you did do a great service to the school. You did it put your life in danger and if you are not okay with putting your friends in danger then they too are not okay with it, at all."

I clicked my tongue and said, "But I'm equipped to deal with it better… I'm strong."

He chuckled and said, "To support someone, to help someone doesn't always mean that you have to be physically there and no doubt you are one of best in your generation but you can't bear all of it alone and even if you can you shouldn't."

For someone like him to make so much sense when it came to this was kind of off putting. He continued while leaning back in chair, "Apologies to them and that to quickly, the longer you wait the worse it gets."

I sighed and groaned "Yeah, but they are not listening to me, didn't you hear?"

He shrugged his shoulders and said, "Do it anyway… make them listen."

I sighed and nodded and said, "Okay, I'll do it."

He nodded and said, "Now please close the door on your way out." I got up and said, "Thanks Professor."

Now what do I do to make them listen and then a little idea popped in my head. I went back to his office and he scoffed and asked, "what now?"

I had a wry smile on my face and asked, "If I break a few rules and not get caught it's okay right?"

He looked down and went back to work and I said, "Got it. Thanks Professor."

Near the lake

The cold night was here but it brought the moons and the starts with it illuminating the Hogwarts castle. Everyone in the castle had a rough few weeks but now things finally started to look up for everyone except for a few students, they were worried for their friend. He always had the habit to dove headfirst into trouble, but today he had sent a letter for all his friends to come to the lake near the tree, he asked for their help he was going to do something stupid.

"What is he up to now?" Tori said with frustration and Daphne sighed and said, "I hope it's not something bad."

"Eh, what's the worst he could do after what he did… you don't think he went inside the lake to tame that monster as well?" Tracey asked her friends, terrified by the thought.

Ted shuddered after hearing her and said, "No, he won't not that fond of water, that one." He then turned back to them and said, "And besides I think he's not even here." He turned around and pointed at the tree by the lake and said, "See he isn't there."

Daphne then looked closely and said, "He isn't here maybe he is waiting for us to come here." She walked forward and the rest did the same leaving Ted in a huff.

They walked closer to the but as soon as they did they saw him sitting by a fire on a stool. He looked up and said, "You guys made it… finally."

Tori walked forward and asked, "Why did you ask us to come."

He got up from his seat and said, "To help me, of course."

(Jon's pov)

They all felt a chill run down their spine as they heard Jon. Daphne looked at him with concern and asked, "You aren't thinking about taming that big chum down there… are you?"

I raised my eyebrows and scoffed and said, "No." I sighed and said, "I think you all should sit down."

They all sat down and looked at me curiously and I cleared my throat, "Now I understand, that you all felt betrayed and deceived that I didn't ask for your help and I now understand that what I did wasn't the best thing that I did…"

Ted cut me off and asked, "You haven't asked us all to come here at night, just to ask our help to forgive you?"

I scoffed and said, "No, I'm doing better than on that part. I understand that I need to do better with my talks with Daphne and Snape. I have asked you all to come here to ask you if this is good."

I sat down on my car and pulled the guitar from my pouch and sat down and cleared my throat, "Now, it's a work in progress so, I apologize if it's not good." Ted scoffed and immediately got a slap on the arm by Tracey.

I hummed and slowly started to pluck the strings on my guitar to set the mood and I started to sing a song for them.

🎵🎶

If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea

I'll sail the world to find you

If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see

I'll be the light to guide you

We'll find out what we're made of

When we are called to help our friends in need🎵🎶

I looked at them for the reaction, I had singed before but that was in the studio with all the gizmos and stuff, singing like this was actully pretty hard. But they all seemed to enjoy it so far. They are slowly tapping their feet and swaying their head.

🎵🎶

You can count on me like one, two, three

I'll be there

And I know when I need it, I can count on you like four, three, two

And you'll be there

'Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh, yeah

Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh, yeah, yeah🎵🎶

🎵🎶

If you tossin' and you're turnin' and you just can't fall asleep

I'll sing a song beside you

And if you ever forget how much you really mean to me

Every day I will remind you, oh

We'll find out what we're made of

When we are called to help our friends in need🎵🎶

🎵🎶

You can count on me like one, two, three

I'll be there

And I know when I need it, I can count on you like four, three, two

And you'll be there

'Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh, yeah

Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh, yeah, yeah

You'll always have my shoulder when you cry

I'll never let go, never say goodbye

You know🎵🎶

🎵🎶You can count on me like one, two, three

I'll be there

And I know when I need it I can count on you like four, three, two

And you'll be there

'Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh, yeah

Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh

Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh

You can count on me 'cause I can count on you🎵🎶

I strummed the wires the last time and they looked like they were happy with the song. "Look, I know I haven't been forthcoming with much and I thought that I was doing to it protect it you all and I really was doing it for that reason, but I think I was also doing it because I was afraid as to what you guys might think. I know I make it look like nothing hurts me or I don't care what anyone says anything about me.

But I do, I care what you guys think cause you guys are my friends. And I know you guys trust me and I didn't, that's why I sang this. It's my way of showing you guys that from now on. I will count on you just as much you guys do. I'm sorry."

I pursed my lips and waited for their answer and they all sighed and Ted walked forward and hugged me said, "It's okay… apology accepTED."

I hugged him back and chuckled, "Love it, thanks bud."

Tori then pulled Ted away and got right up in my face and very coldly stated, "This better not be like the last time." Daphne did the same and crossed her arms and said, "Yeah." But Tracey just pulled them both back and asked with a smile on her face, "How did you do it… have you had that song made for a long time?"

I nodded and said, "Yeah." Ted then asked, "And the music?" I nodded and said, "Yeah, those weren't the problem. The problem is I don't know how to play it."

They all were confused and showed them the guitar's backside, it was carved with runes and I said, "I just sang the melody to some guy who's in school band and asked him to make the musical notes and then just made it into the guitar."

Ted was elated, the girls weren't so much… I don't understand why.
