__________

Everyone gathered shortly after Remus had thoroughly lectured Sirius. Sirius told everyone to take his hand, and he apparated to the mansion. Since it was the mansion of Lord Black, only certain members of the Black family could apparate into the Black Mansion. The floo was not set up either. The only way to go in without permission was to break the wards of the place.

Sirius had apparated everyone to the gate of the mansion. He called Tonky and had her open the gate slowly. Sirius walked in slowly, and the others walked behind him as slowly. It would have been rude to walk past the host, even if he was slow.

Since they were going slowly, the crowd decided to enjoy the scenery. The Blacks had gone all out in the Black Mansion. It was like the gate had opened to paradise.

Marble tiles laid the path to the Mansion entrance. On both sides, to the extreme ends, there were well-groomed Black Poplars lined up uniformly. There were two large fountains on both sides that were shooting water. This water went and landed on the fountains on the other sides. This created an arch above the group's head.

The highlight in the entire garden was the pair of unicorns. You heard it right. Unicorns. The Blacks felt so superior over the light side that they decided to have unicorns to ride on. They wanted to send a message of how they were vastly superior to the entire light-side, but no one could achieve the feat of mounting a unicorn.

Unicorns were pure creatures. They prefered women's touch and only allowed men to touch them if that man was a virgin. Their age reflected in their skin colour. Foals had golden skin. Once they became two years old, their skin would turn silver. And when they turned 7, they would mature and turn into a shade of white that made freshly fallen snow darken in comparison. Their horn starts to grow when they turn 4.

The unicorns in the Black Garden were white, but their skin was dull. Living in a dark environment degraded the life of the unicorns. They could only purify themselves by consuming magical plants, but it would be impossible to find magical plants lying around like cabbage.

Sirius went forward and stopped right in front of the door to the mansion. He looked at the people in front of him and said, "You are now going to enter the Black Mansion. If you touch anything you are not supposed to, and you get hurt (or pranked), the Blacks, well I, am not responsible for it. You can only blame me if what happened to you is on the all-encompassing list here in my hand. Please proceed."

Sirius took out a rolled parchment and threw it onto the ground. He then turned around and opened the door. Everyone except Molly went inside. Molly picked up the parchment that Sirius had thrown and unfurled it. The roll opened up and rolled onto the ground. The parchment kept rolling down to the end of the gate. Molly looked at the list.

Dismembering

Molly looked at the list behind her. It was all blank. She now had to give the list back to Sirius, which meant she had to roll the seeming 50 feet of parchment.

"Who will do that?"

She pointed her wand at the starting of the parchment and said, "Incendio."

She saw the parchment burn and went into the mansion. Sirius saw her come in and asked her.

"Where's the parchment?"

"I... I burnt it."

"Burnt it? That thing cost me seven sickles!"

"7 Sickles? You could buy ten times the parchment with that money."

"And would that parchment roll into something as thin as you've seen? No. Would that cheap parchment be fit for use for Lord Black himself?"

Remus smacked Sirius and smiled awkwardly at Molly.

"Sorry about that Molly. Sirius probably has a lot of that parchment. Sirius, could you tell us why you are making us wait here?"

Sirius smirked at Remus. He started walking around the spherical object hanged down the chandelier. Everyone else was standing around the spherical object. Sirius talked while he walked.

"I want to introduce you to the mansion of the Blacks. The first floor is sealed for your safety. The fourth-floor master bedroom is for me and the third-floor master bedroom is for Charlus and Harry. Fourth floors for adults and the third floor for kids. All alcohol is on the fourth floors. This... is not an invitation to the kids. It's an invitation for the adults. Kids are banned from the fourth floor.

Coming to the more important parts, we first have food. Molly, you can't cook. Tonky will take care of the cooking. The kitchens are in the dungeons, so if you want to make something for yourself, feel free.

No touching weird looking stuff. Call an adult to check what it is. Also, I have a strict no-pranking policy."

Every adult and Charlus and Harry giggled at the last statement.

"Fine. Pranking is allowed. But getting caught is not allowed. Anyone who gets caught pranking will have to bear a punishment I have in mind.

Finally, I would like to thank one person for today."

Sirius quickened his pace and stopped in front of Augusta Longbottom.

"Madam Longbottom. I am thanking you because you were the first person in the entire order to reach out to us. So I am doing this for your efforts. Also because I am very afraid of you."

Sirius looked out the door at the sunny sky outside.

"Well look at that. Looks like it's going to rain. I solemnly swear..."

Sirius opened up his umbrella and held it above him and Augusta. He then put the umbrella in front of him, the tip pointing to the sphere in the centre of the hall.

"That I'm up to no good."

The sphere burst open.
