3 Chapter 3: Severus Snape
Arthur could hardly believe it. He had reached after 40 draws, but he never expected that the last ten draws would give him two gold cards, boosted by the novice's pool bonus.
Arthur had obtained a total of three gold cards.

Arthur was in disbelief when he looked at the three cards in front of him.
As expected of the two wizards, especially Dumbledore, who not only has an 8-level talent in magic and transfiguration, but also has a level of Dark Arts that is equal to Grindelwald.
And there was a Phoenix as a pet, even before starting school. Arthur could use Phoenix's tears to heal at any time.
Arthur, however, soon became entangled. Only one talent or spell can be enhanced by each gold card.
For Dumbledore, he didn't have to think about it, he had to choose Defence Against the Dark Arts.
Arthur's talent in Dark Art Defense is only 4, which is considered in the average genius range and needs to be strengthened.
However, it was difficult to choose the ability for Grindelwald's card. Arthur wanted to choose Defence Against the Dark Arts and increase his own to level 6.
Based on Arthur's own analysis, even Severus Snape, Sirius Black, and James Potter, the most amazing of their generations, had only reached level 5.
However, after looking at his own level 8 Dark Arts talent, he realized that by combining it with Grindelwald's talent, he could reach level 9, the highest level in the system.
"I don't care, I'll improve my Defence Against the Dark Arts after. Let's first see how it feels to have a max-leveled Dark Arts talent."

Suddenly, a ring of fire appeared in front of Arthur, slowly rising into a dazzling light.
A bird with a noble and magnificent aura flew out of the light and landed on Arthur's shoulder, rubbing its golden beak against his face.
Arthur gently stroked the phoenix's feathers, feeling a deep affection for the creature.
After interacting with the bird for a while, Arthur said, "Dumbledore's bird is named Fawkes, I also have to give you a name, from now on, you'll be called Furry."

After playing with Furry for a while, Arthur checked his other gains.

At Hogwarts, I won't have to worry that my secrets will be found out. I don't think Snape or Dumbledore would really try to use Legilimency on a student."

Arthur's strength got improved after he drew Gacha, and his magical power doubled.
According to the system, the average young wizard's magical power level is around 1 when they start school, and it goes up to 5 when they become adults.
Arthur's magic skills are already about the same as those of the average adult wizard.
Of course, this refers to his body's total amount of magic power, not his proficiency in magic. Having a lot of magical power but not enough knowledge would still result in easy defeat.
In the following days, Arthur began his journey of magical study. Without a wand and without drawing the skill of wandless magic, he could only rely on the knowledge he obtained from the portion-making and transfiguration cards he drew.
The knowledge he obtained through the system did not cover all parts of transfiguration and potion-making, only reaching a level equal to that of a second-year student at Hogwarts.
However, every time he drew the same card, Arthur's understanding and mastery of spells and different knowledge improved.
Of course, Arthur could make this part of his knowledge more reliable and use it more proficiently through his own learning. His upper limit was not sealed by the system.
And so, the days slowly passed until July 31st.
At 9:00 in the morning, the doorbell rang twice. Arthur knew it was one of the professors from Hogwarts, but he didn't know which one was coming.
With curiosity, Arthur opened the door.
As the door opened, a middle-aged man appeared in front of him.
He had black shoulder-length hair, a thin and haggard face, a large nose, and thin lips. He wore a loose robe resembling a bat that loomed in the light breeze.
Arthur knew this was Severus Snape, but he had to pretend not to recognize him.
"Excuse me, who are you?" he asked.
Snape glanced at him and spoke hoarsely, "Good morning, Mr. Gaunt. I am Severus Snape, the Hogwarts Potions Master and Head of Slytherin House. I am here today to guide you into the world you truly belong to, and as your guide, I will take you to buy some necessary supplies for school."
Arthur's face pretended to be surprised, and he motioned for Snape to come inside. "Please come in, Professor Snape. I couldn't believe it when I received the owl letter before, but your arrival has given me hope that magic really does exist in this world. Let's go inside and talk."
