4 Toddler Years

3 years later

Gilderoy's POV:

It has been 3 years since I was reborn in this world. More specifically, the Harry Potter Universe. I at least now be able to walk, talk a little and move around more. After my mum and dad left the hospital, they placed me in a crib inside a car, which is some kind of 1960s automobile made in either America or possibly Japan. I don't know, but they made sure my crib was strapped and secured and they drove off. They drove into what seemed like a daycare and this is how I met two older sisters.

~Flashback 3 years ago~

Dad's POV:

After what seemed like hours, my wife and I finally left the hospital. Since my lovely wife is still recovering, I should drive while she still holding our baby, Gilderoy. As we went outside, it had already become evening. We left the hospital entrance and briskly walked into the car park.

What I saw was rows of cars being parked and it took a little to find our car.

I drove around the fairly busy streets and thankfully there wasn't much traffic, as I turned into a corner I slowly slowed down as I didn't want to hit the speed limit of 30 Kilometres. Eventually, I drove into a small neighbourhood and stopped my car on the pavement. We finally arrived at the daycare.

Dad: Are you OK, Honey?

Mum: I'm completely fine, I just have to check the baby.

My wife got out of the car and briefly checked the baby and from the looks of it, he had fallen fast asleep. After determining the baby was fine, my wife slowly and carefully unstrapped the crib and placed a blanket over it, while also making sure she was quiet. I also got out of the car and promptly went to the entrance of the daycare. I knocked at the wooden door and one of the caretakers opened it.

Dad: Excuse Me? Ms. Baker, I have come to get my daughters.

Ms. Baker: Perfect! Your daughters are ready to leave. I'll come grab them for you.

I went into the building and stepped inside the hallway, Ms. Baker guided me to the room where my daughters were staying. As she opened the door, there were other little kids either sitting, playing around or reading. My daughters in particular sit down on the chairs talking to their friends or playmates.

Dad: Margaret, Sarah, it's time to go home!

Margaret/Sarah: Coming, Daddy! As they both exclaimed.

The two blonde girls said goodbye to their friends and stood up, tucked in their seats and skittered towards me as I opened my arms and gave them a big hug. I held them close to me and with both of my hands, I held their hands as we exited the door towards the hallway.

As we got out of the entrance of the daycare, my lovely wife just got out of the car and was heading towards me while she carried our baby in a basket.

However, we were already close to the car by the time my life got out.

Dad: Margaret, Sarah, we both have a surprise for you two.

Margaret: What is it, Daddy?

Sarah: Yeah, what is it?

Dad: You have-

Mum: A new younger brother! Now, make sure you welcome him to the family.

Margaret/Sarah: Okay, Mummy! As they have spoken in a slightly indifferent tone.

I can tell that my little girls are unsure about this development due to them having been our kids for quite a while but I hope it's not going to affect them in the slightest. Regardless, my little girls are the most well-behaved kids you'll ever meet. So I'm sure they'll get used to having a younger brother relatively quickly.

Dad: Honey, let's slowly unwrap the blanket over the basket real quick.

Mum: Okay, Sweetie! But we have to be careful, we don't want to wake up the baby.

My wife slowly unravels the blanket and our baby is swaddled around tightly.

Dad: Look my angels, your new little brother!

Sarah: Hi!

Margaret: Hello, little brother, nice to meet you!

The baby looks so peaceful when he's asleep and for a moment, my wife and I along with our daughters stood by the car at a standstill until he started waking up. As he woke he let out a happy smile and giggled.

Mum: Awww! Looks like he's happy to meet you.

Dad: Yeah, he sure looks like it! Also, let's get in the car as we don't want to just stand here for too long.

Mum: Yeah, let's go home now.

~End of Flashback~

Gilderoy's POV:

So yeah, on the very first day I was born, I met my older sisters. The eldest, Margaret is 6 years older than me with long copper blonder, moderately wavy hair and green eyes like my mum. I do not doubt that she will grow up to be a great beauty not only in her appearance but also in her character as she is a kind, caring, and loving sister.

My other older sister, Sarah is 3 years older and she has more of a lighter shade of blonde hair compared to Margaret. She also has blue like me and Dad. I also think that she will also become a great beauty as well. Although both my sisters are nice people with a kind disposition, Sarah is a bit more rambunctious and impulsive compared to her older sister's calm and composed attitude. And Sarah is also a bit more blunt compared to Margaret.

Overall, They're both well-behaved and with a slightly more mature personality compared to other kids their age. However I will still say that they are still kids, so they're still pretty immature and childish.

As for my parents, my mum's name is Valeria Linnea Lockhart and she came from the pureblood family of Solibois. I knew that she was pureblood but didn't know which one, I just assumed it was from any sacred 28 family. But this one was a new name I haven't heard in my last life, I'll have to ask her about it much later if there's an opportunity. My mum worked as a healer/mediwitch in St.Mungo's Hospital for a while until she resigned a year after I was born to take care and spend more time with the family. I honestly didn't expect her to be magnanimous in her work as in my last life she was considered vain, conceited, and prideful. I also didn't expect to work at all. Regardless, she is very loving and caring to her family, which is something a bit unexpected but a welcoming change nonetheless. When it comes to her kids, she does greatly care and adore us, though I think she loves me a bit more than my sisters.

As for my dad, his name is Robert Henry Lockhart and apparently, he's a squib which in my last life, he was a regular muggle. That was another unexpected change and how I knew this was his lack of surprise with magic and feeling considerably more comfortable with the presence of magic. He works as an Architectural Engineer, which provides our family with a considerable amount of income to live a very good life.

Both of my parents are pretty attractive appearance-wise to many people, so I don't have to worry too much about my appearance. Though I think my mum is more attractive looking than dad.

In the past 3 years, I have explored the surrounding area of my home and I tried to show my family that I am bright for my age by walking at 1 year old and started talking somewhat coherently at 2 years old. I recently showed my learning in basic reading and writing while trying to show that I'm a hyperlexia to my parents. They think that I am around the first-grade reading and writing level as I haven't shown them my progress yet.

The thing that surprised me the most was my sister's magic manifesting after a year of my birth with accidental magic. Even with my mum being much nicer than Canon or dad being a squib as opposed to a muggle, it took me aback that they have magic when in canon they should have been squibs.

Granted theirs is a bit average due to how long it took to control their accidental magic compared to me, which it took me nearly 6 months to make fewer accidents when it manifested last year. As for them, it took roughly 2 years to gain control of it.

I also recently gained a bedroom of my own as I luckily live in a 2-storey 4 bedroom townhouse.

My bedroom looks pretty big to me due to my small size, but I think it will become spacious size when I get a bit older. I have a small bed, a bookshelf of children's books unfortunately, and a small drawing desk with some papers, pencils, and crayons. For now, I am content!
