3 Rebirth as Lockhart

January 26, 1964, London, England

3rd Person POV:

It was around mid-morning, the sky was clear and the busy streets were bustling with life filled with people going about their day to cars driving past the roads going to different places. In one particular hospital was quite busy at work with doctors diagnosing or helping patients and nurses taking care of and checking on them. On this very day, a young couple is about to welcome their newest addition to their family.

Father's POV:

I am currently pacing around in the hospital hallway as my loving wife is about to give birth. Although this is going to be my third child, I can't help but feel as nervous and worried as my first child being born. I am worried about what will to my wife and child. Is my wife going to be okay? Will our baby survive? These thoughts running through my mind make me very fearful of what might happen. I continued to wait in the hallway while twiddling my fingers, shaking my legs, and occasionally standing up to pace around back and forth until a nurse came out of the delivery out the delivery room.

Nurse: Sir, you make com-

Father: Nurse! Can you tell that my wife and child are fine?! Are they going to be okay?!? While he frantically asks rapidly.

Nurse: Sir! I was about to tell you that you may come in, your wife and child made it through and they're both doing great.

Father: Oh, Thank God!

3rd Person POV:

Inside the delivery room, the doctor and the midwives were making sure the mother and the child about to be born were safe and healthy. As this was stressful the team wanted them to make a full recovery. Their condition is quickly becoming stabilized and then sooner or later, a baby is about to come out of the mother's womb. For this baby, it will go in a new direction than originally thought.

Mother's POV:

Doctor: Ma'am, you're almost there! Push! Push!

Mother: Aughh! I hope this baby will realize later when they grow up that this is painful! While she yelled painfully.

A midwife next to me was holding my left hand while gently squeezing her palm. Another midwife is at my womb along with the doctor. Ugh! I don't why my husband insisted on me giving birth in a dang muggle hospital, a magical hospital would've done this more effectively than this. Despite all these advanced and newfangled things in the muggle hospitals, I think that we mages still have some advantages in medicine compared to those dang muggle hospitals.

Well, I actually can't blame my husband as he has a slight resentment towards the magical world due to being a squib. And not just being a regular squib, a 3rd generation squib who knows both muggle and magical worlds who unfortunately can't fully access their abilities. For me, I am a pureblood witch, coming from an unbroken and ancient line of noble wizards and witches of Solibois.

It is very unusual for me as a pureblood to cavort and marry what is essentially a muggle from the perspective of the pureblood magical society and to them, I became a bloodtraitor. It doesn't matter to me anymore as I ran away from my parents after my graduation to escape any marriage prospects that I didn't want to be involved in.

After that debacle, I do not doubt that I was removed from my inheritance despite being their only child. I applied for an apprenticeship at St. Mungo's Hospital and worked my way through to become a certified healer. I am currently on a work break due to me giving birth to my third child.

I already have 2 daughters with my husband, they are both well-behaved and just the kindest kids you would ever want. Though I haven't seen them having their magic manifest yet, it doesn't matter as they're my little munchkins.

Doctor: alright ma'am, just keep on going! You've got this and…

congratulations Mrs. Lockhart! Your baby has been delivered safely with no issues whatsoever.

Mother: Thank goodness this ordeal is finally finished. Doctor, Can you hand me my baby? I want to hold it

Doctor: Ma'am, it's a boy.

The doctor promptly gave me my baby. As I snuggled with him, I saw him at first glance and slowly his eyes were about to open and he revealed his bright blue, albeit cloudy eyes. He has some of the cutest eyes I ever saw and then I knew that quickly fell in love with him.

Doctor: Mr. Lockhart, You may come in your wife and child is perfectly fine.

Then I saw my husband quickly come in through the door and looked slightly dishevelled and tired.

I have no doubt he was feeling anxious about me and our son.

Father: Oh! Thank Goodness! You're Okay, I'm very glad that you are fine. So is our child, I'm not going to have any more kids after this.

Mother: It's fine, this going to be our last child.

Sweetie, you can hold him and see our child.

Father: Thanks, Honey!

I passed our baby to my husband and saw his eyes, they showed an emotion of love, care, and joy the same way as we had our previous two kids.

Father: He has my eyes and your cheekbones, I have a feeling that he might have your hair colour.

Mother: He sure will grow up into a handsome lad.

Father: He sure will!

Father: So what are we going to name him?

Mother: Let's name him, Gilderoy. Gilderoy Reuben Lockhart!

Father: Hmm? Gilderoy Reuben Lockhart! That's a unique yet beautiful kind of name, I like it, Honey!

Mother: Oh, I almost forgot. Sweetie, make sure you remember to pick up our daughters from daycare.

Father: Right, Honey! I'll remember that. Well let's leave you to fully recuperate and then we can leave.

Mother: It would've been easier if we were in St.Mungo's

Father: I know Honey, I know.

While all through that, my husband passed the baby to me while I snuggled him to sleep. The baby strangely had a look of surprise and curiosity, I honestly couldn't help how his face was made.

Gilderoy's POV

Gilderoy: Huh? Where am I? Oh, I remember, I'm about to be born or this case, reborn!

As I was about to be born, I suddenly had an urge to get out of this dark, fleshy place until I saw a bright glowing tunnel by the end. I knew I had to go through that tunnel to get out. So I had to use all my energy to push myself out of this place. After a few minutes of trying to myself out, I got out.

Doctor: Congratulations, Mrs. Lockhart! Your baby has been delivered safely with no issues whatsoever.

As I got out, I heard a doctor proclaiming my birth, which meant I was at a hospital. The doctor then slowly and gently grabbed me. The doctor swaddled me and then passed me to another person who I assumed was my mother.

I slowly began to open my eyes, but when I did, I realized that babies have bad vision when they're born. So I basically can't see anything but heavily blurred coloured blobs. Oh well, I'll just wait until my eyes are adjusted. While, thinking about my birth and the nearby surroundings, which I can safely believe is a hospital I almost forgot.

I'm now British, which means I can drink tea with crumpets, nah! I'm just joking. I probably would not eat crumpets. As I was thinking, I heard a door open and what I can assume was a man due to his voice coming in rather quickly.

My mother passed me to the man, whom I recognized as my father. They were having a back-and-forth conversation and somewhere in the middle, I heard my name being given out.

Mother: Let's name him, Gilderoy. Gilderoy Reuben Lockhart!

Wait! W-What?!? I'm Gilderoy Lockhart?!?

I'm that stupid oaf who in the future made a complete fool of himself and lost his memory by accidentally removing his memories permanently. Not only that, he's a lying fraud who also stole memories of more accomplished wizards and witches and claimed them as his own.

This has to be a coincidence, I mean my middle name is Reuben. I doubt that Lockhart ever had that middle name nor did he ever have any. Yeah, that must be it, a mere coincidence that I have his name.

Mother: Oh, I almost forgot. Sweetie, make sure you remember to pick up our daughters from daycare.

Oh, Dang it! I forgot my 2 older squib sisters.

Then that means that I am reborn as Lockhart. No matter, This is not going a problem, I just have to not do things that made Lockhart be idiotic and I will succeed. I will be better than my cannon counterpart. I might even become a great wizard!
