88 Chapter 88 : Basilisk And Female Dorm

Orion didn't hear any voice but just rustling noise, but he was armed with the knowledge of the plot, and if there was one thing he knew about Rose, that the original Harry Potter was a Parlsetogue. 

It's possible that Rose is also one. 

"Hey Rose tell me, have you ever talked with a Snake ?" Orion suddenly asked while she was explaining how this voice was about to kill someone.

"Ahmm why is that important here ?" Rose asked with incredulity on her face. 

"Just tell me, I might know what's going on," Orion hurriedly asked as he heard the voice coming closer.

"Ah yes, there was one I was in a zoo and I he....woooooo wait," Rose began but that yes was more than enough for Orion to act.

He took Rose by hand and started running away from the voice. And he was right, the voice was trailing them, and his advanced hearing was enough to listen to this form from a long distance.

'What in the name of bloody Slytherin is going on here, why is that inflated ego of Salazaar coming after us ?' Orion didn't listen to Rose asking for what was going on and just kept on running.

[Well the diary is with us so it's not canon for sure, there is only one person we know of still now who knows about the chamber of secrets besides you and voldemort.] Merlin didn't say the name but it was obvious.

'But why, even he is doing the same as Orochimaru... I mean Voldy for some out-of-this-world reason, why directly target us ?' Orion question

"Orion what's going on, where are we going," Rose asked now panicking a little.

"Nothing, remember that Troll last year. This is similar but much more dangerous. For the time being, just come with me," 

It took some time to lose sight of the Basiliks.

But later that day, Orion hears from others that Flich's cat was petrified.

'Good I didn't let Rose near that mess.' Orion just sighed.

"Can you tell me what's going on now," Rose looked into Orion's eyes and asked with determination in her voice.

"Ahh, well I don't know where to begin. You know that I used to live in a jungle before that right." 

Rose hearing his nodded.

"Well I just happened to meet quite a few snakes there and today I heard the same kind of voice a snake makes. I only heard noises while you clearly heard words. That's why I asked whether you are a Palsetongue."

"A Palse what ?" Rose asked in confusion.

"A Palsetongue, those who can talk with snakes. You are one and please don't go tell this to others, as voldemort too was one and this lets Palsetongue have a negative image in Britain." Orion said looking at the huffing girl in front of her, she was totally out of breath. 

"But even if that was a snake, why do we have to run and how does this connect with Flich's cat? " Rose asked.

"Well, that was not just any snake you know. It was much more than that. I will not tell further, I know your personality well, it's better that you leave this matter here and now," Orion said but Rose didn't look like she liked it.

But Orion didn't budge from his position and the only thing he said to Rose was, " Only remember one thing, if you ever listen to this voice again then start running in the opposite direction. This thing is more dangerous than 10 mountain trolls combined."

-That Night-

[So you have finally become a pervert] 

"Oh shut up, this ain't it and you know it," Orion whispered.

Currently, he was standing outside of the Slytherin female dorm room.

The reason he was here was simple, he needed answers and what better way to get them than breaking the mental shields Daphne was holding and seeing why she responded so strangely when heard Basilik's name?

He was not planning to do this but now things are not under his control. If that mad monster roams around the castle then he better at least know why and at whose order.

Orion then put his hand on the shield which was protecting the female dorm, for some godamn reason this shield was much stronger than they had on the restricted section of the library.

[Rightfully so if a pervert like you is going to roam around the castle] 

Orion just rolled his eyes, not even pretending that he heard the old man. After some time, he was able to absorb the magic and the shields collapsed.

'Okay need to find Daphne first,' Orion looked around in the dark of the night, magic was making him invisible his movement as muffled as possible.

It didn't take much time for him as his nose knew Daphne's smell. He found her within a minute. 

'First, need to make sure that she doesn't wake up,' Orion raised bringing his face closer to her and slowly whispering.

"You Are Very Tired And Sleepy. Don't Wake Up Until Before Its Morning. Keep Sleeping," 

"Oh One More Thing, Have A Wet Dream About Orion," 

[You beast, pervert. I knew that you were a lolicon.] Merlin added.

'Hey don't lecture me, I never touch her. Just making sure that in future I have one more option available.

A Man Gotta Do what a Man Gotta Do' Orion said but there was a sizable blush on his face.

Merlin just narrowed his eyes and moved close to Orion to see his face, without his magic in this dark, Even Merlin couldn't see what his face looked like.

Orion just launched his mental shields and calmed himself down by then.

'Anyways, just let me focus old man,' Orion said and slowly took Daphne's hand in his own under Merlin's constant scrutiny.

He didn't draw the magic from her Ring. That will render the ring useless, he instead went on and entered into her mind through direct touch and decided to break the mental shield systematically.

It's not her natural shield but rather shields provided by the heir's ring so she won't sense anyone entering her mind or have any clue later on until she checks the ring itself.
