73 Chapter 73 : Remorse For Competition (Bonus Chapter)

Merlin didn't give any solution to Orion, saying that this one he has to do on his own, making him irritated but he took the challenge, the only downside is that this girls have to stay under Goldilock's influence for a little while more.

"Rose Potter," suddenly the sound came and everyone's attention was moved to the cute redhead sitting beside Orion. The person who said it was none other than Goldilocks.

"How were the books which I gave you my dear, I hope you like them," Lockhart asked with his usual smile on his face.

Rose at this just smiled nervously and nodded in confirmation. Orion wanted no interaction with Lockhart and thus he kept his head down. But to his bad luck. Goldilocks was having none of it. Well, only time will tell whose bad luck it really was.

"Mr Ambrosius, I saw you are sitting with young Rose here. Ah, young love, I had quite a few girlfriends back then myself." He said, making Rose blush furiously while the Orion just didn't buy the sophistry and looked right into his eyes planning on invading his mind, but unfortunately for Orion, the bastard was wearing a special ornament to shield his mind.

Orion knew that it was not his own Occulumency and if that was the case then the user could feel his mind getting invaded. Lockhart had no clue that his mind was just under attack.

[You can force your way in, you are more than capable now] Merlin added his sage advice and Orion had the urge to take that advice but he didn't. He might but right now is not the right time, it's too crowded here.

"I never expected that among you I would find a fellow Author. I have to say that I am a fan of your work Mr Ambrosius," Lockhart said.

Although he didn't want to admit but being a Ravenclaw, he understood the value of the knowledge which that book provided. Actually more like he was yearning for that knowledge and fame for himself.

And Orion didn't need to invade Lockhart's mind to see this one coming. It's a very side-villain kind of move.

"Thank you, I too like Mr Lockhart's books very much," Orion had to struggle to form this sentence. He spat the words with venom covered with sweets.

The interaction with Lockharts was not long, he didn't plan to talk more and he was saved by the horde of fangirls lashing out when Orion was taking all the precious time of their almighty and Lockhart sama.

With a sign, Orion just waited for the class to end. Fortunately, that didn't take much time, he honestly didn't want to waste more time on Gilderoy if possible. So he was the first one to get out of the class as soon as the bell rang. Only later from others, he found that Goldilocks looking for him in the class.

'Good thing that I got out when I had the time,' Orion muttered in relief. 

Right now he was outside in the open, planning to practice force but got interrupted by his friends.

"So here you are, what are you doing here," He saw Hermione and Rose coming towards him. Ron too was with them.

"YO, why are you looking for me," Orion didn't like getting disturbed on his grind but he did promise to spend more time with them. 

"I had a question about your book," Hermione said while showing 'A Chaotic Core' on her hands.

"Rose told me about that broom of yours, mate why didn't you show me that broom? You never even told me that you are making brooms. That wicked knowing that you have a business at this age," Ron said with much excitement but a little bit of jealousy.

Orion on the other hand almost forgot in his training, effort on socialising and in all the noise his book was making that he had another product almost ready to hit the market.

He should be expecting a response from Emeric (His partner in crime in looting those wealthy wizarding families all over the world and also ruining their favourite sport, all in due time,)

"Ah yes, I was making the broom at the same time I was writing that book," Orion said while pointing at Hermione's hand. Also realised that he should also start writing the second book in his free time.

"Can I look at it," Ron asked with much exhilaration in his voice. Orion honestly didn't mind but without his guidance, it could be dangerous. 

As his own broom is even better than the one he was planning to sell. Black Pegasus might be even faster than an old fighter jet at its fastest speed. Nothing he can just hand over to a child. Let alone, Ron.

"I would love to Ron, but my broom is a little different, It only works when I am using it, I had to make it like that because it's not like any normal broom. Ask Rose what I am talking about she knows," Orion said and kicked the ball to Rose.

Rose instantly nodded, a little horror appearing on her beautiful and cute face. She almost screams her lungs out when sharing that broom with Orion.

And later that bastard told him that it was not even 50% cent of the real speed that broom can achieve.

Rose just got goosebumps thinking about it and her face went pale.

Orion was not lying here, the top speed of a normal Pegasus is 400 to 500 Km per hour which is a little more than double that of the fastest flying broom which has shown in the Harry Potter series, The Firebolt.

And his Black Pasugus can achieve a stable 1000 Km per hour at its max. But that was not even the craziest thing, he further improved it, being infatuated with bikes in his last life, he modified even to the point of no return.

Now his broom can achieve the speed of 2000km per hour for a short period of time. That is almost similar to a Mach 2 speed.

Not to mention, it was not just speed he modified. Even the looks and sound of the broom were modified to give that powerful monster vibe. He can't believe that no one can fall in love with that broom seeing what it can really do.

If Orion was proud of anything besides his Greek God body then it has to be that Broom. He was just waiting to take that baby on a test drive in the upcoming Quidditch match.

He might get on the team just because he has that broom. A broom which is 10 times faster than the current fastest broom on the planet.

"hehe," he couldn't help but let out an evil laugh.

"Orion". Hermione called.

"Huh," 

"What happened, suddenly you dazed out and then started laughing like a madman," Hermione asked with confusion in her tone.

"Ah nothing nothing, just showing remorse to my future competition," Orion casually said.

"I have questions," Hermione asked not even paying attention to Orion's reply, chucking that last bit in him being a boy.

"BOYS," Hermione and Rose both just sighed and shook their heads.
