63 Chapter 63 : Bad Feeling About This Year

The dance which Merlin was talking about was not exactly a dance but more like a martial art, something similar to what Po learned in the second movie of Kung Fu Panda, learning how to balance his internal power and make it work together with the outside forces.

For the next 30 minutes, to Orion's shame, he had to act like a total idiot and wave his hands in the air while moving the way Merlin told him. It's not like Merlin too was a dance teacher, he never danced his in life, whether it is the official life span of 400 years which others know of or his real life span and a thousand years. 

He was just correcting Orion whenever he saw Orion slipping out of force manipulation. 

What Orion was tasked to do here was simple, he was tasked to move around his force as he moved, matching his flow while not actually targeting something specific, meaning the force itself is not latching to anything but is present there and as long as something come near him, it will enter in his force field.

So while Orion was acting like an idiot both Snape and Dumbledore tried to understand what the half-naked child in front of them was trying to accomplish. They didn't notice Orion's force as it was now not strong enough.

Both of them soon lost interest and with a sigh went back.

Orion after his training and embarrassing performance decided to do this in the Room of Requirement but Merlin immediately shot down this idea, saying 'The idea here is to work together with nature, you can't run away from it, do it in the open'.

Grumbling to himself he then went to breakfast.

Upon entering he saw Hermione not talking with Nick and finally sighed in relief, he intended to ask Hermione about Nick later. 

"Orion, why are you standing here by yourself, come sit," Rose said with a bright smile, apparently happy.

Orion then acted normal and sat down beside her, eating he was thinking about how to bring up the topic of Nick but before he could find the right way to start the conversation he heard the Headmaster's voice.

"Students, I have something to say," Dumbledore as he saw everyone finally settling down. 

The noise in the hall immediately quieted down and everyone looked at him like he was Santa who was just about to give out gifts and show magic tricks.

"It's about this book which one of our students here sent me," He said and suddenly a white-covered book appeared in his hand.

The confused students looked at each other, while the professors on the other hand were all focused on a certain black hair and blue-eyed second-year student.

"I have read many books in my time but this book completely changed my prospect of magic. And it's not just me but all the professors who got to read the book and all of them have the same thing to say." Dumbledore said and looked at the students who looked back at him asking, 'So what are we supposed to do, you like a book, big deal, let us eat already,'.

He didn't give two shits about the students he had dealt with in this kind of situation in his entire life, he shamelessly looked at the professors and all of them nodded and smiled. It was genuine too, considering that they really liked the book.

There are a lot of things which they didn't like about the book, but when it comes to the book as a whole, they cannot help but agree just how much this book is gonna influence the future of the magical world.

Why because all the knowledge Orion and Merlin gave in the book was correct, and if any of the professors even bother to try it out of there, they will know. 

Considering their faces, all of them have used the basic knowledge in the book in some way or other. And have experienced the credibility of the book first-hand.

 "This book was a gift from a student to us Professors, and after reading it, I personally believe that all the students should read this, all the professors agree with my suggestion and thus Hogwarts have purchased this book in mass for each one of you students," Dumbledore continued and Orion on the side was started to feel like this was getting out of hand.

He knew that the book was priceless in some sense as this knowledge is not available in the wizarding world or if it does, it's with those pure-blood families which will never let this secret let out, Although only talking about the base of magic but every learned witch and Wizards can say that if the base is not strong then no magical can reach there greatest height.

But this, Orion feels like Dumbledore was making this a bigger deal than it should have been.

" And to my surprise, the books arrived this morning, " Dumbledore said and even Orion was stunned at this.

[That Marcus guys sure work fast, wonder how he did it] Even Merlin sounded amazed.

" Great more books," Ron murmured under his breath while getting a scandalous look from Hermione who looked like if no one stopped her then she might snatch the copy Dumbledore was holding for herself.

Orion just stood there, for the inevitable to happen.

"This book will be in your course from now on so I advise you to not just let it rod on your book selves unless you suddenly want to find out that the final exam questions are not in the syllabus anymore," Dumbledore said the last line with a little sadistic smile, Orion could have sworn he saw darkness there.

And then the whines and puffing from the students finally started.

"And one more thing, let me announce the author of this book," Dumbledore said and even Merlin suddenly started seeing shadow rising behind him while horns came out of his head.

There was a knowing smile on his face we he suddenly looked at Orion just before opening his mouth.

Orion could already hear students complaining and cursing the author for adding more miserly to their student life. 'I am sure that it was not a dead threat,' he said to himself.

"This book is written by none other than a student of Hogwarts, Orion D. Ambrosius," Dumbledore said with an innocent smile after throwing me into the pit of hell, making me a public enemy number one in seconds, while other professor started clapping.

"What," Hermione head snapped at me at a velocity which defied physics, while my surroundings went silent.

' I have a bad feeling about this year,'

 [Well played old man, well played] Merlin just laugh at my misery.

This year might be really bad for him, to some extent. Question - why waste an entire chapter on this? because Orion's books really will change the story a lot, As I said in the starting, his books are very important in this story. They are gonna change the flow of the HP world.
