43 Chapter 43 : Magical Circuits

Orion found himself in a room in the Leaky Cauldron, he arrived there yesterday, Tom the ower of the place became good friends with him the last time and considering that usually this time of the year, the place is almost empty at most of the time, he didn't charge money from him to stay.

Of course, Orion had to pay for his food but food is not an issue for him. Leaky Cauldron is very close to the muggle world, Orion can arrange his own food as long as he gets out and uses some Mind control powers or what he likes to say...," Training".

But that doesn't mean that he is not planning to pay Tom. He has already his business idea in mind and this year, he will also have applied to work in the bookshop to at least get enough money for his loungings.

"So are we finally doing it, how much more do we have to wait, man ?" Orion asked with a little irritated expression on his face, he had asked Merlin's help to get that Philosophers stones out of the Mirror of Erised but he was delaying him all this time, Merlin, on the side sighed at seeing the impatience of the child in front of him.

'No matter how much potential, he is just a child,' Merlin couldn't help but mutter under his breath and then nodded, " Yes, we can now get that stone out of the Mirror," Merlin said and before he could even blink, Orion took out the Mirror of Erised from his Spacial Pendant.

"Hmm you are not seeing those naked girls anymore, what happened," Merlin jested. Orion on the other hand just rolled his eyes and only said one thing, " Tities are secondary, the grind is eternal,".

-30 minutes later-

It took 30 freaking minutes for Orion to set up all the barriers and runes in the place before starting the magical chant which Merlin taught him. Honestly, he was expecting an easier way but in the end, the stone was in his hand and even the mirror was not destroyed. 

Well, there was one catch most of the mirror's powers were lost and it was mostly a normal mirror. Maybe later Orion could rebuild the Mirror, he wanted to, that was his only source to watch some quality content in this day and age.

"We were right, it's only a copy," Orion after analysing the beautiful red stone in his hand said.

"Well, we were never relying on the fact that we would get the real one in the first place. This is good enough as it's created from the real deal, it also holds some of the powers and properties of the real stone," Merlin inspected the stone.

"Fine, here goes nothing," Orion took a deep breath and then started his integration power. He slowly started to draw the magical power from the stone. The visual of him drawing magic from different magical beasts and objects is always different. This time the red hue, almost like red gas was getting absorbed by him and there was a visual change inside him immediately.

Merlin noticed Orion's magical signature changing, not getting strong but getting more potent, his magic which till now didn't have any colour started to take a slight golden tint and finally, the biggest chance inside Orion was his Magical Network.

Orion noticed the magical circuits inside him were widening, getting more developed, and more robust. It's worth noticing that the only difference between a Squib and a Muggle is the existence of magical power and the ability to use that power.

Muggles don't have magic, while Squibs do have magic, although, in a very small amount, they can't use that magic as their magical circuits are not developed like a normal witch or wizard.

During their entire life, a wizard or witches go on practising their magic and develop these circuits even further, the more developed the circuits the easier it is to use magic. 

This is a major reason why many of the magical have to rely on Wands to use magic, over the years because of the blood impurity and loss of the magical power in the blood inside them, they have become weak.

[Here I am not talking about the same Blood Purity which pure blood talks about, Blood Purity here is the magical potency in the blood, which needs to be purified by use of rituals and contracts with magical beasts.]

Orion noticed that the entire stone had evaporated while he was absorbing the magic from the stone. He closed his eyes, trying to notice his magic but didn't feel his magical core anymore.

His eyes snap open, panicking as the magic inside him is now flowing and he can't even understand its flow.

Merlin who notices this immediately stops Orion from activating any magic for the time being. He sighed after calming Orion down.

The sigh was for the sheer luck this kid in front of him had to get such developed magical circuits at such a young age and more for the facts that how unfair it was, it took him years to develop his circuits with countless rituals and years and years of practice.

'This bastard is born with Devil's Luck, just don't compare, it not good for my Blood Pressure,' Merlin still grumbled under his breath as now he had to explain to Orion just what kind of jackpot he had gotten.
