40 Chapter 40 : Philosopher's Stone 5 (Bonus Chapter)

But just when he was about to demand Snape to lower his wand he felt a movement behind him and the next second he heard a voice.

"PATT SE HEADSHOT," and then he saw a punch coming towards his face.

Orion after seeing that Quirrellmort is about to hurt Hermione, moved before even understanding what he is doing, like a bullet out of a gun, he appears in front of the dark lord.

Orion just remembered a phenomenon which he learned in his previous life when he was watching a very famous anime.

It's said there are cases when a person's feet already started to move towards a person who needs help without even knowing, that is the sign of the real hero.

The only thing Orion was thinking at that time was to protect his waifu, and possibly his future girlfriend if this version didn't turn into one of those toxic feminists.

And before he knows it, he punches Quirrellmort and sends him flying back. He for the first time was considering himself a Hero. Even if it was only for a few seconds.

Others didn't know what Orion was fantasizing about. They were more interested in the lightning reflexes and that punch, they could hear the bones breaking on that punch.

"I was right, it takes some time before the traits from the absorbed animal manifest in him fully. His physical strength is even stronger now. And there is a possibility that it will increase further.

Absorbing that Troll was a good decision," Merlin muttered to himself, Analysing Orion's sudden physical boost and speed, it was apparent that it was because he absorbed the Troll at the start of the year. Not to mention, Orion also absorbed a Unicorn whose traits are still yet to manifest in him.

Everyone was surprised at the sudden attack by Orion, Hermione was shaking, being so close to death and holding on tight to Orion, almost making his breathing a struggle.

Rose and Ron rush to their friends and check them out in concern, while Snape immediately casts multiple restraining charms on Quirrell, Voldemort is already done for and decides to finally leave this vessel. If he got caught by Dumbledore then there is no way to escape later.

"What are you doing here, Ambrosius ?" Snape asked after making sure that Quirrell couldn't escape, but he didn't know that Quirrell was already dead, the moment Voldemort escaped his body, he was already doomed to die, not to mention the skull-crushing blow which Orion delivered to him.

"I... I was um, I was looking for them, I went to my dorm later on from the library, and was reading inside until I heard a noise, saw them getting out and got curious. Followed them here," Orion quickly came up with any excuse he could come up with, This even threw his friends on a loop considering that they couldn't find Orion before. 

Rose and Ron looked at him like he was a ghost, they made sure that no one was trailing him while Hermione was still clutching at him like a Koala.

He saw the frightened girl and gently patted her head and said, "It's alright, I punch the bad man, he won't scare you anymore," He almost sounded like coaxing a child but surprisingly it worked.

What followed was a big lecture from Snape and decreased points from Gryffindor. Orion didn't care as they were gonna make back the point thanks to Dumble-partial-dore. 

"Umm Orion," Before Orion could go back to his dorm, Hermione called for him, Rose and Ron were there so she intentionally asked him out when he was just about to enter the dorm after Ron and Rose had already been entered while waiting for Hermione.

"Yeah," Orion asked nonchalantly, but before he could comprehend what happened, a soft and warm feeling came from his cheeks. He blinked and Merlin from the side smirked, almost looking like a certain white hair sage.

Orion was frozen for a second, "Thank you for saving," Hermione said and ran inside her dorm.

"What were you saying..... who don't, where are you going ?" Rose was saying but Hermione just zooms past her, directly to her bed to utter confusion of Rose.

Orion was just standing there cursing at himself to freeze up like that on her kiss. Merlin on the side just sighs.

Snape after taking care of Quirrell and making sure that the kids went back to their room. Thought in the solitude of his office.

His thoughts were all about the black mist just before he started fighting with Quirrell.

He has seen that black mist before, he created a very similar spell which allows wizards to fly in the air. He was confused whether what he saw was right or an illusion.

Then there was Orion. The boy was a total anomaly. Killed a Troll by stabbing him with his wand, and beat a wizard who was giving him a good fight with a single punch.

"Is Dumbledore sure that he is a human child, is a Troll attending Hogwarts without even our knowing?" Snape sighed hard.

Then he narrowed his eyes, "That physical Strength," Snape questioned himself, although he did not feel threatened by the kid or feel any problem with him. But he was interested in his raw power and speed. He actually did some investigation and apparently, the boy did some muggle exercise every morning. 

Snape just sneers at this but today after seeing that Boy's speed and raw power, he just couldn't deny the fact.

Then there is another thing that Rose has quite taken a fancy to him.

While this was happening, a Slytherin boy who finally with all his hard work reached his destination, looked at the empty room with an open mouth.

He just burned a Devil's Snare and beat a game of chess, well he wasn't able to so he destroyed the entire chess room. He played solve the stupid puzzle and even got that flying key which he later realized that he didn't even need after seeing that the door had no magic holding him and a simple Alohomora would have sufficed.

"There is nothing here, 

Come On.... NOT AGAIN."
