Chapter 191 : DADA Class 2

One by one, all the students started to go in front of the Boggart and change the creature into something funny. 

Its was quite interesting as long as the students performing the spell had some imagination. 

Soon it was Ron's turn, he just like in the anime saw a giant spider. Orion at this moment could feel a small soft hand holding his own with some tightness. This was none other than Rose. Though the trauma of last year was long gone but still her fear for the spiders was still there. 

In the movies, it was Dementor's but maybe not anymore. This is not Harry Potter, after all, this is Rose Potter. 

Ron's imagination was quite good, putting the spiders on the spot by making all of his legs slip and fall to the ground often. The spider was also wearing a Joker's hat for some reason.

"Hahahaha, Ron.... what are you thinking," others applaud Ron as the mood is pretty exciting. Rose too just smiled and the slightly tense features on her face were gone, though the hands holding Orion's own never left and Orion too never pointed out. Why should he, its like hitting your own leg with a hammer, if the girl doesn't mind then why should he point out?

The next person was Neville, his most fearsome foe was none other than our dear Professor Snape. Interestingly the same fearless professor has been avoiding Orion for some reason nowadays. 

Orion after thinking about this just smiled and didn't say anything, he never planned to go on an offensive towards Snape but that man had it coming. He won't be doing that again with anyone, power or not making many enemies is not a good idea no matter even if you are a god. 

And he is after all still not strong enough, though he is sure that if Snape came after him he can easily handle him but that is only that. Other stronger opponents and potential enemies are still there. 

Dumbledore, Grindelwald, Voldemort, to some extent Nick considering he too has gotten stronger but Orion doesn't know just how much, though he is sure that it won't be hard to handle him. 

His arrogant assessment back on the train that he can take care of Nick in under 5 minutes might not be right, but he has full confidence that he can kill Nick if he wants to. It's just that killing the guy will raise suspicion right now.

[Hmm you might act like you hardly care for anything but you have calculated this, haven't you ?]

'Hehe, what are you talking about old man, I don't like math. Why would I do something so troublesome,' Orion just rolled his eyes.

[Quit acting boy, its already hard enough to understand what are you thinking after you learn to protect your thoughts from me, don't play these games with me. I am here to help you if you don't act like your true self even in front of me then I can't assist neither your current level nor your capabilities] Merlin said with a stern tone. 

There is no one who knows Orion's current power more than Merlin. He was the one who trained him for the last 3 years after all. Even Merlin is quite confident that Orion is quite strong, strong enough to even able to beat Dumbledore. 

While Dumbledore still trumps Orion in magical power Orion is extremely fast and agile. Not to mention Orion's body is around 10 times more durable than any normal Wizard. No matter how powerful Dumbledore is, he is still a human and his body is weak. Orion definitely has a chance to beat Dumbledore if he plays his cards right. 

But there are also downsides. Like Dumbledore's immense power, he too can use the law of death and love and lastly, there is years of fighting experience.

In fact, if there is one thing which Orion is lacking right now then its fighting experience. He needs a teacher who can spar with him. Merlin can't do it, he is just a memory. Merlin has been trying to find a way to solve this issue for a long time but there has been no solution till now. 

'Ah, you are no fun at all old man.' Orion internally pouted.

[Just tell me what you are thinking ?]

'Fine, I at first was planning on killing Nick but just like I talked to you before. He knows something, something he was talking about earlier when he fought with me. I can't say but he almost sounded afraid even though he was taunting me. I thought about it a lot. The only thing that I can think of is that there is someone behind him. Someone who is pulling the shots, otherwise I just don't see a reason for the guy to act the way he did.

If he was Voldy then I see why he would go after Rose but why me is beyond me. So it's safe enough to say that he ain't voldy or someone related to him. He is someone else altogether.

There have been so many events happening in the wizarding world right now which never took place in the books or movies.

The attacks all around the world last year, suddenly someone with the face of Harry Potter emerged and called himself Nick Iron and even tried to kill Rose aka the supposed child of prophecy in this world. And then there was also that girl back in America.

You remember her right, that white hair girl with terrifying power. She was strong, I could feel it in my bones. I knew that what she used on me back then was something similar to my devil's tongue but with the power of Law infused in it.

Now I fully agree that in the wizarding world, there should exist some age-old hidden monster/cultivator ancestors shit but that was a girl there is no doubt about it. If anything she was only a little older than me.

There shouldn't be anyone like that exist but she does, with Nick talking about a woman back then. I had a bad feeling.

Though the possibility of him talking about that girl was almost nill I feel like there is something which connects both of them." Orion said though he was still hesitating.

[Is that all ?] Merlin asked, he felt that Orion was still hiding something, something which Meriln waited for Orion to say in all that three years of time but he never talked about it. Even Merlin is not sure what happening here but something in Orion change after that fight with Nick. 

Something essential, at first Merlin, didn't care too much but only after that fight that Orion start to train with much seriousness, the last 3 years were hell on him not just becuase Merlin was hard on his training, but Orion himself was much harder on himself than Merlin.

"Of course... what mor....

[Are you afraid of killing him] Orion was saying but Merlin interrupted him midway. His suspicion getting thicker by the minute. He knew something was going on but he is just not sure what... the damn kid would open his mouth and his mind is guarded like a lock protecting Nuclear Code.

"What! Me afraid of him. Have you lost it, old man ?" Orion said with much ire on his face. 

Merlin at least believes in Orion at this much, the boy is not afraid of Nick. If there is anything, he is angry and has murderous intent towards Nick. Even now Merlin can feel the same kind of killing intent in Orion's eyes when he deals with Nick or talk about the guy. So no he surely is not afraid of Nick.

If anything he has become a much better actor and can hide his intentions good enough.

[That's not what I asked you, I said are you afraid of killing him] Merlin asked again.

"Ahh... that hmm No. I can kill him whenever I want to. I just don't have much reason to right now, remember I said that I would let the bygones be bygones and only take the matters after the training into account. Not to mention killing the guy is troublesome, Dumbledore and others will be behind my ass after that" Orion just said nonchalantly.

[I see...] Merlin nodded while puffing on his pipe. 

[Well then, I want him gone. Kill him]

blink...

'What...

[Kill him. Kill Nick Iron. That's hmm consider its homework for you] Merlin said while still calmly puffing on his pipe.

'One minute... one minute. Where does that come from? Why do you suddenly want the guy gone' Orion was half confused and half stunned.

There was a shocked expression on his face.

[Well you needed a reason to kill him, right? There you have it. Not only his existence will further cost you in future, but the boy will definitely plot something against you sooner or later but at the same time we just don't have the luxury to spend time on him in future, even if it the 5 minutes to deal with him as you said that you need.

Those are the reason why he is the target and if you are asking why suddenly then its also simple. You need experience in killing, even humans.

It's actually very similar to Naruto. Like how those genins need killing experience and need to have their first kill early in their life to make them a full-fledged Shinobi. You too need to get your hands bloodied soon. Otherwise, you will always remain soft.] Merlin said.

Orion was stunned at hearing the response. There as a troubled look appear on his face. Something that Merlin acted like he didn't notice. He knew that something was going on but if the kid wouldn't talk about on himself then he just have to push it out of the boy by force.

"NEXT" Professor Lupin said and this brought Orion out of his daze before either Rose or Daphne do that for him. 

Next in line was the exact person he just got an assassination contract about.
