Chapter 186 : Playfull Day

After the greatest lecture of all time, the entire class started training in wandless magic.

Orion was pondering whether to tell them that no matter how much they train in, they won't be coming anywhere close to him thanks to his super-developed magic circuits and pure magic but that will be cruel, especially when they are working so hard.

Orion later go around helping as many students as he can. One good thing about taking his class after the normal Hogwarts schedule is that no one gonna rush after this, once done they just going back to either play or practice what he taught them.

After giving a special class on wandless magic, Orion was ready to unwind and have some fun with his friends.

Something even he himself didn't see coming when the majority of the Gryffindor students and even students from other houses and years dragged him with them before he slipped away like usual.

As they stepped outside into the crisp afternoon air, the golden rays of sunlight danced around them, casting a warm glow over the Hogwarts grounds.

'Man it is just me or I am turning slowly into an old man who just wants to look at this beautiful scenery and rest on an armchair,' Orion ponders.

[What's wrong with that, I would love to do that if I was alive] Merlin said while he was sipping tea and had black glass on while floating around.

'Guess now I know why I think that ?' Orion eye twitch.

"Guess a little interaction with people of my own age wouldn't be bad," Orion mutter.

"Let's play some magical games!" Rose who was dragging Orion exclaimed, her eyes twinkling with excitement.

Daphne and others grinned eagerly, their faces alight with anticipation. Together, they brainstormed ideas for games that would showcase their magical abilities in playful ways.

Orion just stood there with smile on his face.

Even if he was only counting his age here in this world, its still too much to play games like small kids.

Not to mention which game will be a challenge to him anyway ?

"Let's start with a game of Wizard Tag!" suggested Rose, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm.

Orion and Daphne nodded in agreement, and soon they were darting around the courtyard, their laughter ringing out as they chased after one another, weaving spells and enchantments to evade being tagged.

This tag game was easy enough, using non-lethal spells as tag. Spells like leg jamming, tongue twister etc.

Next, they decided to play Hide and Seek, no magic was needed here, just plain old hide and seek. Always fun to play. With each hidden nook and cranny, the thrill of the chase intensified as they used their skills to outwit one another.

As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a soft orange hue over the sky, they gathered around a makeshift Quidditch pitch for a friendly game of Magical Capture the Flag.

Last game of the day, Orion promises himself before he returns to his training again.

With broomsticks they soared through the air, their shouts of triumph echoing across the grounds as they battled to claim victory.

The was again was quite simple, one team had to capture the flag of the other team while flying. No spells are allowed so there is that.

As the games came to an end, Orion and his friends collapsed onto the grass, their breath coming in ragged gasps as they laughed and reminisced about the day's adventures.

Well Orion was mostly acting, something like this will not tire him out, he got too much stamina for that.

"Who knew wandless magic could be so much fun?" Daphne exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Orion wandless magic classes gave everyone hope that they could do that too.

And more than magic, it was the wow factor which attracted them.

To these kids right now, it doesn't matter whether they can do magic with wands or without them, but they want to do that cause it looks cool.

Orion grinned, feeling a warm sense of contentment wash over him. In the company of his friends, surrounded by magic and laughter, he knew that moments like these were what made Hogwarts feel like home.

'Maybe coming back wasn't that bad decision after all,' Orion pondered over this question many times. He didn't have any practical reason to attention to Hogwarts right now. Its more of a waste of time anything at this point.

He rather use this time on his training or something, but right now he was glad that he had come back.

[Hmm well enjoy it as you can. Later on, you will have to leave the school for better training. Remember that] Merlin said from the sideline.

Sigh...

Orion knew that.

After having a fun time with his friends and the girls, Orion was back to his business mode.

The reason is that Dumbledore asks him to come to his office later on after dinner.

[What ya think that old man wants to talk with you ?] Merlin asked.

Now this was not the first time Orion had seen Merlin asking this kind of question, he fully knew why but the old man usually tested Orion like this.

"Definitely something to do with my Ancient Rings project,"

[No, we ain't calling it that. Let's stick with Focus Ring]

"Sigh,"

As Orion reached Dumbledore's office, he saw the office door guarded by a Griffin Statue. Orion didn't care about the passwords to open up the stairs. He just got inside and fly himself up to the office.

"Yo, you ask for me Professor," Orion waved his hands, startling Dumbledore who was sipping on his lemon tea.

"Oh, Orion how did you..." Dumbledore didn't complete the sentence. Usually, the Griffin Statue make enough noise for him to know that someone is entering his office but Orion came up like a ghost almost startling him.

He almost choked on his tea.
