Chapter 172 : Increasing Food Budget

Orion wiped his sweat with a happy smile on his face, today it was more or less strength training for him, pulling that huge tyre that weighed almost 100 Kg, and running 10 Kilometres. 

This really got his heart pumping. Usually he majorily focuses on the overall body when training physically but it's nice to do focus training once in a while. 

Smiling he looked down. There were lying two girls panting more than dogs and sweating more than pigs. And yet both of them were still looking pretty like dolls. A broken doll considering just what kind of hell they went through but a doll none of the rest. 

"Take your time, this usually happens to someone who hasn't exercised before," Orion said, thinking how strange the situation was. Not only he was completely fine after dragging that almost 100 Kg tyre for 10 Kilometres but in fact he had to slow down so that these two girls could catch up with him. And this when they just had to carry their own weight. 

But after seeing this he was more certain that he needed to train their bodies. Without a proper foundation, no matter how powerful the magic they learn. There will always be a bottleneck. 

He wanted to train with magic as well but seeing that the girls were almost near passing out, he sighed and took out a health potion for them. This will nourish their body and fix them up real quickly. Good that breakfast time is coming. After the potion, their body will need food.

But seeing that the only parts of their body which could move were their mouth to take in as much air to supplement the urgent need for oxygen, and second will be their eyes as they glared at Orion with hatred. 

He knew that his future wasn't much brighter after those eyes but gulping he determined himself. There is no other way to really get stronger besides suffering pain. 

"Here drink this, this will help," Orion said and put two potions in front of them.

They though didn't want to drink the obviously bad-tasting potion which they can say by the smell, they did because they right now just needed something to help their dry throat.

In the great hall, everyone was looking at a certain spot with astonishing looks. All of them were stunned and shocked.

Even the teachers were looking at this particular spot with wide eyes and disbelieved.

The reason for this strange behaviour from others was three Gryffindor students who were devouring eveything thing in their line of sight which looked eatable.

These three students were none other than Orion, Rose and Daphne. And although Orion was the major contributor to the ongoing disappearing food on the table, to others that wasn't the problem, after all this time they had become very used to it. In fact, Orion now earns enough that he gives a separate food budget to Hogwarts just so that he can get anything to eat without trouble. He has yet to find out what happened with the financial side of the magical Britain but he had a suspicion that money was tight for not only the school but everyone right now.

It's better to provide money for the normal functioning of the school right now, and this was his way of providing the money without making it too obvious. 

So no even though Orion was eating the most, he wasn't the centre of attention right now. The girls sitting beside him were. 

Both Rose and Daphne were eating almost 3 to 5 times as they normally eat. And this was what made others look in at the girls with stunned and confused eyes. 

'Is this some kind of disease spread from Orion ?' 

'Will we get infected too if we stay close to him,'

'What kind of disease makes others eat like this ?'

While they were thinking about this, both the girls were eating everything in their sight.

Right now their only regret besides asking for training from Orion was to sit beside Orion. Orion somehow was eating food much faster without making a mess like they were making. It makes them look like a hooligan. But they can't do anything about it. After that hellish training, their body required too much nourishment and that to some extent was fixed by the potion which Orion gave them but that lit a fire inside them.

Fire of Hunger. 

The hunger almost drives them crazy. 

They didn't want to act like crazy for food like Orion used to but the hunger inside them was too much. 

Besides making them look bad, there was also the problem with him eating food faster than them. This led them to snatch food from his hands, making him pout.

Orion was the first to get up, thought he had done the strength training but it was only physical exhaustion, he wasn't as hungry as exhausting his magic entirely.

Letting the girls eat, Orion looks around. Only to find people looking at him with strange looks. For the first time in a long time, he felt like he had no way to respond.

There was only a smile on his face but it was a nervous and embarrassed smile. 

Looking away from the student he looks at the professors. From there he was getting strange looks but it was restrained. But only three people he actually cared about. 

Dumbledore who was sweating a little, doing something with her fingers. Most likely calculating the increased cost of food consumption if two more female Orion appear in this school. 

Snape was glaring at Orion, mostly likely becuase Rose was involved and the said girl just completed her 4th serving of chicken wings. Orion again has no idea what to say. Is saying that he made Rose, the daughter of the woman he loves wake up at 5 am by throwing her from a portal at the height of thousands of kilometres and then making her run 10 Kilometers. 

Of course, he can't say that right. So let's not talk about the it at all. 

Lastly, there was Professor McGonagall. She was looking at him with strange eyes. 

Orion had a feeling that this wasn't just becuase of the sudden appetite of the girls. What could it be? 

Hmm...

[I believe that it has much to do with your book] Merlin said from the side.

"Book ?" 

[Its impossible for her to read the book yesterday. She just got the book and there were no breaks from then to the Transfiguration class. Maybe thats why she didn't say anything about your need book yesterday.

But now she clearly should have read it. And seeing the slightly larger dark circle under her eyes. Well she loves it]

'Love it huh ?' Orion just repeated what Merlin said with suspicion on his face. There is no way that she won't find the information in the book unimpressive. But so was the case last year and that didn't stop her from forcing him to read his own book in front of everyone.

[Come on, this year should be fine. You were highly restrained in your language this time around] Merlin smiled and said. Though he himself didn't believe his words.

Alright got your dm and learn what's you are not liking about MC. Now I will try to make him a little more humble but he will still retain a little bit of his arrogance, becuase without that arrogance, he won't take bold steps and always will try to hide away from exposure. 

Only with a little bit of arrogance and a little bit of daring will he take actions and chance things so mind that. 

Otherwise I will try to fix his characters as much as possible,.
