169 Chapter 169 : Care For Magical Creature 3

After the Hippogriff ran away with his tail between his legs, Orion retreated his Law of Presence and focused on Rose. 

Rose on the other hand had no idea what Orion just did right now, Orion sheltered her from his magic. She only saw Orion's smouldering look and averted her eyes.

Once he was sure that the Hippogriff was gone, he called his broom which was hovering around the moment before he teleported out from there to catch Rose. 

His control over his magic was enough to stop the broom in mid-air and mount it. Of course, Rose was still in his arms.

"Hey you okay, you are not saying anything for a long time," Orion looked at Rose and asked who was just snuggling in his arms. 

The sudden question brought out her of his daze, looking back at Orion who now had his charm back on, there was still a blush on her face but it was not the uncontrollable kind. Orion's looks now were a lot more manageable for a mortal girl like her.

"Hmm yes, thanks," She took some time to answer.

"Good, then let's get back," Orion smiled and was about to turn the broom towards the Hagrid garden but before, he could do that, Rose tugged on the side of his shirt. 

"Huh," 

"Let fly for a little longer..." She said but the words themselves were much smaller. 

[Hmm Hmm Hmm] 

'What,' 

[Nothing just do what the girl says, and stop being an idiot]

'Oi who are you calling an idiot,' 

Merlin just shook his head and vanished from his place. 

Blinking in confusion Orion too just did what Merlin told him, not like he wasn't planning to, Rose hardly asked something from him not to mention he too found the situation very adoring. 

A beautiful girl in his arms while flying high on his broom on this beautiful day. What more a man needs?

"Okay," Orion smiled though this smile was unusually brighter than normal, he thought about where he should put the girl down on her broom, he was still Princess carrying him. But when she herself wasn't complaining. Why should he dig his own corner here? Just enjoy this blessing given to him by this beautiful world.

After 10 minutes of quality time, which neither of them gonna talk about much later out of shyness, they return to the Hagrid garden.

To his amusement, the Hippogriff had long arrived there. Both Hagrid and the students were about to start panicking but thanks to the Illusion that Orion left behind, they didn't go after Rose. 

Only when Orion arrived in his fancy broom while Rose sitting behind him, Hagrid and all those students who were panicking and was worried for Rose sighed in relief.

"Rose, what happened ?" Daphne was the first person to rush up to her two friends and ask this question.

Seeing that Rose was taking time to answer, Orion smiled and answered in her regard, the question although asked by Daphne by asking Rose's name was technically asked to him as well. So he can answer as well.

"That damn horse was about to throw her in the lake, I was on time to catch her," Orion said with a smile. 

"Oh," Daphne blinked her eyes, still suspicious that there was more to this than what Orion said but didn't say anything more, she would get the juicy news later on from Rose anyways. She will make sure that the redhead talks. 

Little did she know that Rose right now was looking for a good wall to bang her head to death. Why does she have to act all cute and ask to stay in Orion's arms? 

She just walked back with Daphne with her head lower down. Orion too didn't think too much about it. Years of staying alone had damaged his emotional senses enough to make him borderline dense MC from a harem anime. 

Hagrid came over to see whether Rose was hurt anywhere, the gentle half-giant was as kind-hearted as he was big. 

After making assure that Rose was fine, he came to Orion. Just to check how he was doing. Orion didn't care but a certain slythering dark wizard was giving Hagrid a "Are you serious," Look. 

Of course, this was Nick, who asked why even bother, there is nothing happening to that guy so easily, believe me, I tried.

Orion that two thoughts that Malfoy will do the same as he did in the movie but nothing like that happened here. That was a good thing, one less thing for Orion to worry about. He wasn't planning on saving that winged horse anyway but he didn't want him to be chopped off either. 

But surprisingly another person came forward. Orion eyes widen a little, making him curious about what's going on. 

This person was Nick, it wasn't Hagrid who called him but he rather came himself. Getting closer to the Hippogriff and bowing. 

And after a few seconds, the damn horse bows back.

"..."

'Fuck You... I will chop that damn horse myself.' Orion internally roared.

[Hahahahahahahahahaha] 

There was a vein almost popping on Orion's head but he restrained himself, a little doubting tone was there, why him and not me?

[Seems like this guy is getting things which you want for some reason, world sure is not fair] Merlin smirked and said. 

"I have no idea what you are talking about. Who wants to fly that useless horse who can't even decide between being a horse or an eagle." Orion retorted. 

[If you say so...] 

'Huff' 

But that wasn't the end, Nick even went beyond and mounted the horse. Riding him like it was natural instincts to him. Like he has done this countless numbers of times. 

Irritating Orion to hell. 

[And that might be the second being he mounted which you wan...

Orion tunes out Merlin and his nonsense. But he was too pondering about why the Hippogriff acted like that to him. 

And the only thing he could come up with was the presence of another magical beast's power inside him. 

Well, there were multiple of them. Troll, Dragon, Unicorn, Spider, Vampire and he himself is not sure how many more. Though his magic is the purest magic anyone could find in the surface of the planet but for a magical creature no matter how pure and bright his magic is, instincts matter more than anything.

So its possible that after sensing this many kind of magic on him, the hippogriff was acting like that. 

Possible.
