133 Chapter 133 : Again In Infirmary
Light causes him to finally open his eyes, making it very uncomfortable. He wanted to move but there was pain which made him groan.
Slowly opening his eyes, he found himself in Hogwarts Infirmary, lying in the familiar bed.
[Oh, you are finally awake, took you long enough,] Merlin who was floating around in his chibi form said with a genuine smile. Orion groaned again though this time it was not becuase of pain.
Knowing that he would regret talking with this old man right after waking up, he had almost 2 years to learn that fact, so he tactfully avoided the old man to remember what happened.
Entering into his mind palace he started to sort out all the memories and then immediately pause. His mind started to rewind and remember what just happened, making him once again seeth with anger, but knowing that he couldn't think straight in his anger, he used his mind palace to suppress his emotions.
Checking himself for injuries he found that his hand still burned and now almost unresponsive. He didn't worry though, if there was one thing he had learned from Merlin in all this time then it was that as long as one is not going against the natural workings of Law, Order and Chaos, almost everything is possible with Magic.
Well, they need the right kind of power, knowledge and in some cases, items but the idea still stands true, so even losing an arm is not that bad, it is just time before he can do something about it.
But that doesn't mean he likes the fact, and the fact that it's hurt like a bi*ch when he tries to move the hand.
"How long I have been here ?" Orion after calming his emotions and settling into his reality asked.
[5 months]
"WHAT!!!!!!!!....
[Oi oi I'm just joking dont react like that, I'm old and my heart can't handle this kind of sudden burst like young people like you.]
*Eye Twitch.
"Don't joke around when I am asking you seriously, how long since I have been here," Orion chidden as veins pop on his forehead.
[Okay okay, geez man. It's only been 15 days. Both you and that Iron got knocked after the fight, in his case it was the injuries you delivered that one blash sure packed some punch, honestly staying with you just made me forget just how fragile the human body really is. His wounds though healed much faster and only after 3 days did he wake up.
You on the other hand suffer from Magic exhaustion as you spent most of your magic on fighting Nick and the rest of your magic ended up getting used to digesting the huge amount of magic you absorbed from those deadly hallows.
Honestly, what were you thinking, you are lucky that your Integration technique actually purified that dark and corrupted magic and Law of Death. You would have been doomed otherwise.] Merlin berated with a little heat in his tone.
Orion realised that he wasn't thinking back then, he didn't have any time to think actually. Inside the stomach of that giant serpent, there was no light, no oxygen. He could hardly move. He did what came first in his mind to save his life.
"What about others, Nick, Hermione, Rose, Daphne," Orion slowly asked just to make sure that everyone was fine.
[Everyone's fine. Those two girls were quite worried about you. Redhead and a Blonde, not so bad honestly.] Merlin gave a thumbs up earning an eye roll from Orion.
[Hermione is also good but she didn't come to meet you or anything.]
"I see," Orion replied with a plain voice. A little lost, conflicted maybe.

What followed was Orion locating Madam Pomfrey to ask about his left hand. He wanted it to be fixed as soon as possible.
"Sorry my child, but I can't help you with this. In all my life, I haven't seen an injury like this. Your arm is just not healing like the rest of your body."
Not the best response that he was expecting but not the worst either. He knew that something was different about this injury. Otherwise, his healing factor would have already healed himself. It was later planned to shift Orion to St Mungo's for further check and recovery.
"Orion," Rose's voice trembled as she suddenly came in and called his name, her eyes welling up with tears. Daphne, standing beside her, felt the weight of concern press upon her chest. The sight of Orion, battered and burned, pierced through the façade of strength they had come to associate with him.
Tears streaming down her face, Rose couldn't help but throw her arms around Orion in a desperate embrace. Daphne followed suit, their shared worry manifesting in the warmth of their intertwined hug.
[Mini Harem check] Merlin added. Orion just sends a glare at Merlin with an irritated look.
"What happened, Orion?" Rose choked on her words, her voice muffled against his shoulder. Daphne, her eyes searching his face for answers, waited anxiously for a response.
Orion winced, not just from the pain in his burned hand but from the emotional turmoil reflected in the eyes of the girls and the increased mental load to find the answer to give them. He tried to offer a reassuring smile, but the pain and exhaustion etched on his face betrayed the attempt.
"Orion, please," Daphne pleaded, her voice breaking. "I know you don't want to talk about what happened, but... but we are worried for you."
Orion hesitated, his gaze shifting between the concerned eyes of Rose and Daphne. There is no way that he can explain everything to them. Signing internally he quickly thought a way out of this and said.
"I... it was a tough battle," he finally managed, choosing his words carefully. "I thought that I could take on the Basilisk alone but it was just too much for me. I somehow was able to take him out but this happened to me," Orion said while omitting everything which they don't need to know right now.
Rose's grip tightened, her eyes not believing his words. "There is more, I just know. You kill a mountain troll without having magic, and now you are telling me that some damn snake put you in his damn bed for 15 days?" Rose said not at all believing him.
'Isn't this girl know me a little too well,' Orion deadpan.
Daphne too added her input in the conversation, backing Rose up and costed Orion to finally sign with defeat.
"Okay okay, I understand. But I can't tell you right now anything. I believe you, I do but you have to understand that it will be more dangerous to you if you know what's going on, I will tell you when the time is right. I promise, Okay."
They looked hesitant but Orion didn't open his mouth after that. But after getting glared at by those cute eyes, trying to act angry, he sighs.
"I'll tell you everything, but not now. Believe me, it's for your own good" he promised, evading the specifics for now.

(ST Mungo's)
"Sorry Mr Ambrosius but we can't help you here. We have never seen anything like your burned arm here. It's one of a kind. Nothing we do is healing you." Said the head witch in the hospital.
Orion didn't say anything, he never expected this hospital to help him out anyway. After all he was damaged by LAW. A magic far too powerful than anything these witches and wizards have ever seen.
He himself has to find a way to heal himself.

"What do you mean, my boy I can't allow you to do that," Dumbledore who came back after learning that the chamber of secrets was open and even students were injured. He came back after hearing this and waited for Orion and Nick to wake up. He Hardly believe Nick and thanks to the child's mental shield he can't go mind robing like good old days so he had to wait for Orion to get any concrete info but that came only after Orion was tested by both Madam Pomfrey and witches of St Mungo's.
They talked before this but that was just him asking questions about how Orion found the chamber of secrets, how he killed the Basilisk and so on.
"Witches at St Mungo's told me clearly that they can't help me. But I know that I can find a way to heal my arm, but I can't do it here.
This is the only way I have," Orion said
Dumbledore sighed at this, what Orion was asking was not impossible. Infact it's pretty possible but it's just that he doesn't want to do that.
Orion asked him to before but he clearly declined, this was before he visited St Mungo's.
But now he can't stop Orion.
