124 Chapter 124 : To War We Go

While the entire Hogwarts was in uproar, Orion was making plans. If not anything then he has to fight Nick who is a Level 2 wizard, level 3 with his version of Elder Wand included. And then there is also a thousand-year-old Basilisks.

[You can't fight both together. Even someone like Snape will have a problem doing so. Go and ask for someone's help] Merlin reminded him.

"That won't do. First and foremost making anyone strong enough to believe in my words will be extremely hard, secondly, even if they believe in my words, then most likely they will not let me, a student, no matter how powerful or genius go to a potentially deadly place," Orion mutter as he was walking towards the girl's washroom.

[What the point of going there if you know that you can't win] Merlin asked with agitation. Orion was not listening to him, this time he might really die if he is not serious. 

"True, I'm not strong enough to handle both of them, but that's the worst-case scenario. As long as its one on one, I think I have a chance." Orion too knew that he couldn't beat both the Basilicks and Nick at the same time.

As he stood in front of the girl's washroom, he took out all the things he prepared for himself in case something like this ever happened, though he never thought that he had to ever use it considering he had practically glued himself with Rose in the last few months and even was looking after Daphne. 

Hermione though was the problem, he had no idea what Nick did but for sometime Hermione wasn't interacting much with them. He tried to include her in their usual banter and keep her close. Especially keep her away from Nick but that is all for nothing, Hermione always denied on the pretext of learning something or going to the Library. 

But he knew better, yes she was going to the Library and learning something new but from whom was the real question? That someone was Nick. Even in the library, she was spending time with him.

What he doesn't understand is why. What is that which makes her so attracted towards that boy? He checked for foul play, things like magic or muggle drugs but just couldn't find anything. 

[Girls like Bad Boys, not a happy-go idiot like you] Merlin ruthlessly said, striking a critical hit.

Holding his broken heart, he enters the washroom. Not having any idea where the entrance of the chamber was, he had to use his senses to find it. Good thing that his Space Law has grown up to this level that he can even find ancient magic and space hidden with it.

As he was finding, he was also making a plan, plan to take care of Nick as soon as possible. He is confident that as long as he is fighting only one opponent like Nick or the Basilicks, he can take either of the ones down under 10 to 15 minutes with some help, of course, something he is expecting soon.

 The reason he is this confident is because of his speed. Maybe he is not as strong as Nick with his black magic and that fancy wand but he is fast. He was not wasting his time while just training the space law you know. 

In the last match, he has noticed that no matter how powerful if the spells never hit him then it's pointless. So after miserably failing to master the space law, he put the rest of his time on improving his speed.

Force speed is a technique which he learned earlier this year but only now he can say that he has seen the true potential of that technique.

"Got it," As soon as Orion found the entrance he walked up to the place. 

[Are you sure that you want to do this, is that Girl Hermione really worth this much] Merlin asked, the voice almost coming like he was tired.

"With great power comes great responsibility. Strong should protect the weak," Orion just said not knowing what to say otherwise.

[There you go, acting all Hero-like. Well if you come out alive then maybe you learn that being a Hero is not always worth it] Merlin huff and then finally stop talking. 

Orion just took a deep breath, not knowing why he was going there to save Hermione. Yes, he used to have a little crush on her because the girl looked like Emma Watson but that's it. 

He doesn't love her or anything, at best she is just a friend, in fact, he is sure that he would rather choose Rose over Hermione if there is ever a situation like that. Hell who he is kidding, he already chose to save Rose when that damn Snake was targeting her. Hermione needed him at that time as well, considering Nick was also coming in contact with her at that time. 

"No point thinking about this right now, I just have to target Nick and take him down. Time is of the essence here," Orion with a serious look on his face finally extended his hand to force open the entrance.

Crack.

Crack.

Under the powerful force, the entire sink which was placed over the entrance started to shake and soon divide in half. Revealing the entrance of the Chamber of Secrets.

But before entering, took out various kinds of magical items from his pendant and started to equip them.

"That son of a b*tch choose the wrong guy to mess with, I'll show him," Orion grumble and acted like he was getting ready to fight a war.
