30 30.The End

Grindelwald looked at everyone with contempt, focusing his attention on Mr. Chairman. "Let me ask you, who is this law meant to protect? Us or those who are unaware of magic?"

He pointed his finger at the panicked Muggles in the distance, finding them as foolish as silly roe deer.

With the Obscurus gone, he no longer found joy in this charade. "I refuse to yield to this law any longer," Grindelwald stated arrogantly as he turned around and walked away.

President Picquery's heart skipped a beat. These words held weight. What had happened to her trusted ally?

It was as if he had become a different person!

No matter the doubt, as the supreme leader of the U.S.A magical community and guardian of the law, Picquery could not condone anyone's contempt for it.

"Aurors, take Mr. Graves and his wand into custody," Picquery ordered, her tone cold, as she glanced at Newt holding Tina.

A magical prison cell formed around Grindelwald.

Closing his eyes and rubbing his forehead, Grindelwald realized he shouldn't have expected anything from these imbeciles!

He turned around, locking eyes with Picquery. The coldness in his gaze sent chills down Picqueli's spine, despite her high position.

With a flick of his wand, the magical prison instantly exploded and dissipated.

On the verge of breaking free!

The previously calm square descended into chaos once again.

A group of Aurors swarmed their former commander.

Grindelwald waved his wand repeatedly, effortlessly fending off any spells that came his way.

Phew!

Even while withstanding the Auror's attacks, Grindelwald had enough energy to fight back!

From time to time, one or two Aurors would be knocked to the ground. What was even more shocking was that some of the curses knocking them down were cast by the Aurors themselves!

This level of power was far beyond what Graves should possess! Ms. Picquery couldn't help but gape in astonishment.

"The most thrilling scene is about to begin!" Aurelius grinned. He wished he could have a beer in hand and snack on some edamame and peanuts.

Fully absorbed, Aurelius watched as the end-of-year drama intensified, heading toward its climax.

Whoa whoa--

Aurelius lowered his head, and the invisible beast, Dougal, pointed to a small box downstairs.

Well, yes, Aurelius was indeed present at the scene. He sat in a first-class seat, observing everything happening in the square from a higher vantage point.

"You want to go home, don't you?" Aurelius asked.

"You heartless little creature!" Aurelius laughed and cursed, understanding Aurelius's desire to leave. Compared to the uncomfortable aura of Obscurus on his body, it was obvious that his owner, Newt, was closer to him.

"Wait a minute, little one," Aurelius touched the invisible beast's head and continued watching the show.

Seeing that Grindelwald was only a stone's throw away from Picquery, Newt took action! He released the Winged Demon to block Grindelwald's rebounding spell, and a rope shining with supernatural light instantly grabbed Grindelwald's hands. Grindelwald is captured!

Captured by an idiot he despises?!

"Here comes the wand!" Newt took away Grindelwald's wand, which originally belonged to Graves.

Grindelwald looked around with deep hatred in his eyes, especially Newt, an idiot with no martial ethics, who unexpectedly attacked! Aurelius made the same movements as Newt, chanted the same spell, and witnessed the true appearance of Grindelwald.

The light blond short hair is upright, and the mohawk-style short hair is bold and rebellious. A pair of light blue eyes as sharp and arrogant as an eagle looked indifferently at Chairman Picqueri who was walking towards him.

"This old boy is so handsome!" Aurelius had to admit that the middle-aged Grindelwald had a strange charm, not just for women but also for men.

"Grindelwald?!" The Aurors were horrified. Chairman Picquery was stunned at first when she saw Grindelwald, but then she became ecstatic.

This time there was a big mess in the Magical Congress, and she couldn't wait to blame anyone. Newt and the Obscurial are both targets for blame, but the pot is too big, and neither Newt nor the Obscurial can bear it easily. But if it were Grindelwald...

President Picquery's mood improved. Grindelwald was kneeling on the ground, his hands were tied, and he lost his wand, but he was still fearless. Even when he looked up at Picquery, he was still full of German sarcasm: "You think you can trap me?"

President Picquery had a smile on her lips. In her eyes, everything about Grindelwald was the incompetent roar of the loser. As a winner—even a confused winner, she had to show her demeanor as a winner: "We will do our best, Mr. Grindelwald."

Two Aurors gave instructions to lift Grindelwald and take him away. But when he passed by Newt, he stopped, stared at the restless little freckled Newt carefully for a while, and said softly: "Will he die? Even a little bit?"

"What?" Little Freckles was confused. What are you saying?

"He said... we'll see you later." Aurelius appeared next to Newt.

"Who?" Newt looked around, but he couldn't see the invisible Aurelius. His thighs sank, and when he looked down, Dougal looked at him longingly while holding the Occamy that kept bumping around in the box.

"Dougal?! Great!" Newt was extremely happy."I think someone should take care of these things," Jacob said as he and Queenie walked out. One of them was a No-Maj, while the other was a wizard at the level of an ordinary employee. It was clear that neither of them was qualified to intervene in such a battle.

"Thank God!" Newt exclaimed as he quickly walked over with Dougal in his arms. He took the box and opened it.

Dougal and Occamy's mother had been running outside for a long time, and it was time for them to go back.

"Dougal, stay down," Newt instructed.

Dougal held the box, looked at Newt, and then glanced at the spot where Newt had been standing just moments ago. He didn't see anything, but he knew that someone had been there.

Dougal, with gratitude in his big eyes, waved in that direction. Reluctantly, Dougal climbed down the ladder in the box.

"What... was it doing just now?" Jacob asked curiously.

Newt shook his head.

Aurelius smiled. He knew it was time for him to leave. Soon, Newt would have the Thunderbird take the venom of the Twilight Demon to erase the memories of the entire city.

He didn't want his memory erased, not any memory.

Aurelius drifted away after witnessing a rainstorm show brought by the thunderbirds above the clouds.

The Obscurus was defeated, and Grindelwald, the culprit, was arrested. Though nothing seemed to have changed, everything had changed.

"I can finally live a peaceful life. But it's not easy," Aurelius remarked.

It was time to End.
