5 Testing new magic

Thanks to everybody who left a review. I'm an idiot. I put the word count in the Auxiliary chapters. Fixed that. With this this fic should qualify for the rankings. Either tomorrow or next week, not sure.

"So what are we doing here Harry?" Melinda asks with a small frown

We were out in the middle of nowhere. In a desert.

The sun was strong and there we scorching hot winds.

We had to cool ourselves with magic

" Well I wanted to test out some of my new, very dangerous spells" I say with a bright smile making Melinda facepalm

"Yes, yes, you could have just said that you need us behind a barrier so you can show off"

I just throw her some ward stones which she takes and looks over curiously

"How dangerous are things going to exactly get? Normal Barriers were enough for your previous experiments" Melinda asks with a worried look on her face.

Hope was already hiding behind her

I puff up my chest with a weird sense of pride, maybe because of all the chaos am about to make"I fully expect to lose a few fingers"

Tap. Tap. Tap. Smack!!

Melidna quickly rushes to me and smacks me over the head

" Have you lost your mind!"

" No my brilliant, beautiful and very well defended mind is where it has always been."

That earned me another smack

Honestly, the only reason why I let her hit me is because she is genuinely worried about me.

And people like that are rare, especially in this world

"Sigh, I'm not going to able to convince you otherwise, am I?"

I grin at her " Nope~"

Melinda sighed again and walked over to Hope who was looking nervous.

My familiars jumped out of my expanded pockets and rush to her side.

3 snakes and 2 lion cubs were going as fast as they can.

Melinda quickly used the ward stones and made a strong barrier with them, then she added her own barriers, stacking them up.

" Okay Harry let's see what you can do"

I nod at her and took out the staff that she gave me

I focus and I start chanting

"Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south! Hado #31. Shakkaho!"

A red orb started to appear in my hand. It compressed flames. When I finished the chant and called out the name. The orb launched itself from my palm and hit a nearby sand dune

*BOOOOM*

Hmm. The chant is actually just for beginners or when you want to overcharge a certain spell. I can cast it just by calling its name or silently. But it needs more focus and power

it's divided into Shak-ka-ho, three parts. Same as Bom-bar-da. But Bombarda rolls off the tongue easier so I'll be using that more.

"Harry when did you learn Japanese? And how did you even make that spell??" Melinda yelled out

" Last year! As for how.. I'm just that good"

Both Melinda and Hope deadpanned at my answer

The only reason I think that I can create, well re-create these is that they actually exist in a different world. I know they CAN work. If they didn't exist, I they would be a lot harder to create since I'm unsure if they will work in the first place.

"Hado #54. Haien"

A reddish-purple flame leaves my palm and and hits the stone

*POOOF*

Hmmm interesting. It didn't blow it up. But the spot where it hit is totally erased. It burned the targeted location.

And the spell was fast. Much faster and more powerful than Incendio. Hai-en. In-cen-do.

Then again, Incendio is only a basic fire, spell, there are more powerful ones, but they are longer in the name and require more wand work.

Which I skip through. I only use my staff as a magical focus. I don't really wave it around in stupid motions. I use focus and intent to make my magic happen.

"Hado #63. Raikoho" (Thunder Roar)

This spell generates an orb of yellow lightning above the palm and fires the built-up energy at the target as a massive concentration of energy which resembles a lightning strike.

As soon as I say the name. Yellow lightning hit the dune.

Hmmm. Faster than the Harry Potter variant at least. Baubillious

(Fanfic varient is Fulminus. I like this one better)

I only know the chants for the ones that were shown. I didn't bother making my own chants for them because I feel they are unnecessary. But I did make chants for particular strong spells or useful ones. The chant keeps them stable when I overcharge them.

And it looks dope as hell.

Hadō #88. Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō (Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon. Stupidly long name. Thunder Cannon, I will only be using Shinten Raiho. Which means Quake Thunder Cannon. I will think about it. Give me your opinions)

A yellow-blue lightning beam a meter in diameter launched at a faraway sand dune.

*BOOOOOOOOM!!*

The Lightning completely obliterated it. And the dune behind it as well. This one is useful. The name is dumb though. I'll look into changing it

Melinda and Hope were looking at the destruction with their jaws dropped.

"Coool" Hope's eyes twinkled

Melinda on the other hand was speechless

Time for the real test

I focus my magic to my hands. Especially the back of my hands.

"TriplumOris"

I horizontal line appears on both hands. The line split showing lips and teeth. It was a mouth. On both hands there was a mouth on the back of the hands.

Hmmm.

I move around the tongue in the mouth. It works normally. The voice box doesn't exist as I will be talking with magic.

Same as a Parselmouth. The human tongue can't produce those sounds, magic does. Even if it can, it's just absolute gibberish instead of a language.

""A.B.C.D..""

First I start off with the alphabet then move on to some words and then sentences. To get a hang of using them.

This is only possible due to my mind. Parallel thought processes and increased thought acceleration. I love my brilliant mind.

"How is he doing that?" Hope turns to Melinda and cutely tilted her head

Melinda looked blankly at my hands. "That is something that only someone with a Transifugation Mastery can do or close to it. Changing your body to an animal and or shifting it slightly is something else. It already exists, you are simply changing it.

Making new or duplicate organs is a whole other branch. One that often is labeled as forbidden due to the number of accidents and deaths it causes."

"Is Harry going to get hurt?" Hope says in a worried tone

"I hope not" Melinda says in an equally worried tone

"This is awesome!!" Harry yelled out

Melinda facepalmed, again. She really needed to stop doing that lest she leaves a permanent indentation

This is so freaking cool

Let's try the basics.

"Hado #1 Sho"

*Thing, Thing.*

One light beams exit my index fingers and different intervals.

Nice, so I can use spells through them. They are working perfectly.

I grab my staff and hold it upwards

"Bombarda" x3

Three beams were launched out of my staff in different directions

*BOOOM. BOOOM. BOOOM*

I say the next in Parseltongue

$Bombarda$ x3

*BOOOOM. BOOOOM. BOOOOM*

The same thing happened but the explosions were a bit stronger.

Lets try it again but this time don't release them

$Bombarda$ x3

Three little orbs were suspended above my staff.

Twist

The orbs started to twist around each other.

*Fshhhhhh*

*BOOOOOOOOOM*

Nice, it got a lot stronger.

Now for the really fun part

Spell Stacking or Incantation Roll

It's a method used to shorten chants and spells. You compress the lines you are required to say and say them in a single line. Naturally, this is difficult to do or pronounce. It takes quite a bit of practice

Something that I have been doing for quite a while.

"S̴̫͎͗͂h̷͇͆́̍͘͜a̸̼̮̬̒͌͠k̴̺̺̑́́k̷̳̬̐͒͊ͅå̷͈̱̊͗̋h̶̛̲̿̋̂ͅo̷̧̬̐͋̂͛"

A fire red orb left my hand to blow up something.

That was the entire chant for Hado #31. Shakkaho

It was not bad but Shakkaho doesn't have the firepower I want. And I'm still trying to recreate anything more powerful than Hado 88. That one was basically a huge lightning laser attack. So it was actually easier to recreate.

I did however find an advanced spell in one of Melinda's books. Pyrlanse Incinis

An Advanced Fire Spell. That does have a chant to help out beginners.

Now what would happen if I just cast it a hundred times at once

*FSHHHHHHHH*

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*

Fire, Fire spread everywhere. The desert was on fire.

Umm. I'm completely drained of magic. That was close to a Peak Mid-Class Attack.

Damn, I didn't know I could do that.

"HARRY!" Melinda yelled out as she started preparing the Teleportation circle

Right, an attack like that is going to get people curious.

When a madman starts to send attacks like that in the human world people get curious.

I quickly ran to her and she wacks me over the head.

"You idiot! Warn me next time when you are about to do things like that. I almost had a heart attack! We have to leave quickly" Melinda was breathing deeply as she was holding her heart

"Sorry. But it was cool right?" I grin at her

"Really Cool" Hope smiles

Melinda just facepalmed again but stopped herself before she hit her face, she just continued completing the teleportation circle ' An 8-year-old doing a Peak Mid-Class Attack, What have I created? No, I did nothing. I just provided the basics, he came up with most of his spells on his own. But now it's certain. I Melinda helped teach the new Merlin. A Magical Genius. His name will be spread across the world! And so will mine! It's only a matter of time!'

Whoosh.

The group teleported out, leaving the magical fire to burn the sand. When a group of humans look at the site. They will see that the sand has been turned into glass and it was in various shapes and sizes.

This would become a popular tourist attraction.

But the cause for this was never found.
