14 Apology

The party lasted long into the night before being broken by our head of house. Once she arrived it didn't take long for everyone to head to bed, including myself.

My day was very normal uptil the time after dinner. On my way towards the room of requirement I was ambushed by two people.

Seemingly coming out of no where Fred and George Weasley linked their arms with my own before lifting me off the ground. " hello again little Mira I think it's time we have a little talk" George said as with practiced ease they moved me away into a empty classroom.

As we enter the room I walked forward to create some distance between us, Before I could even question why they brought me here Fred started talking.

" please! Please don't say anything yet." Fred started in a desperate tone with his voice raised before lowering it into something softer.

" we want to apologise. We shouldn't have looked at you like that, when we saw what you did and the magic you used we got a scared. However you did something for us, you saved our little brothers life…" Fred's voice grew weaker as his carried on.

George continued for him. " if you didn't use that transformation magic and run their we wouldn't have made it in time. I doubt any spell we can caste would have stopped the troll" even George couldn't help but get emotional over what could have been.

They both looked at me before lowering their heads slightly. " Mira we are so sorry for judging you" in unison they lowered their heads a little more.

Seeing them like this I couldn't help but laugh. " ahahahaha, come on don't be like that from now on we are friends and your not allowed to say no! After all I spend a lot time studying so I need some people to goof of with." My response seemed to startle them they most likely expected a straight up rejection.

It took a few seconds for it to set in but once it did large smiles blooded on their faces. " well little Mira we have got something great planned and an extra pair of hands would be very helpful…" George's atmosphere changed in an instant, his face adorned with a Cheshire smile.

Fred also had the same expression " that's right Mira! Flitch has been causing us a few headaches and we need to find a way to deal with him. Seeing as you want to have some fun with us I suppose it's time we get down to business" hearing their words I couldn't help but smile too.

" why of course that annoying little man needs to learn his place" my Arogant words made the two of them look at me strangely. Since I'm not fully grown my height is around 4ft 8inches, I had a reputation of being the one of the shortest people in the school. Even so that didn't change anyone's inate fear of me.

"Well before I give my ideas how about you share yours as you no doubt have one" my words caused them to smile back at me. "Why of course we do, we developed a spell which changes the colour of animals it's cast on. If you don't know the counter curse it normally cant be undone. However that be a little too cruel the animal so it only lasts 2 months." Fred proudly explained whist George vigorously nodded along.

"Hmmm I see, right down everything about the spell and let's try and improve it. Seeing as no one uses this classroom we should be fine" the twins as if prepared showed me the notes on a piece of parchment.

After touching the parchment I absorbed the knowledge on it. Seeing as this was technically a curse and thus dark magic my talent went into over drive, I could already see Multple ways to improve it.

" hmmm If we change this and then make this here different we can create a different more interesting effect whist making it harder to break" as the twins watched me work they looked astonished it took me around half an hour to massively improve the spell.

" and their we go! The spell now makes an animal effected by it constantly change colour, I bet even doubledore would have a hard time decoding this spell." Proud of my work I turned to show the twins.

Seeing that the twins where silent I went to speak but they beat me to it. " lady Mira, please teach these foolish ones your ways." Fred began in an overly zelous manner. George however continued the bit " please except these fools as your deciples"

George and Fred where actual on one knee with their heads down. Being in such a position made me feel like a powerful queen. "Huff huff huff why of course I'll expect your! From now on I am mistress Mira or simply master" with my hands on my hips and my head raised I let out a very exaggerated laugh.

As if on que they both shouted " yes mistress Mira!" "Yes master Mira" one our little bit ended the twins pulled out a piece of parchment. " now it's time to find filtch and that cat." Fred pulled out his wand " I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" once the phrase was said he tapped his wand on the papers.

Looking at the map of hogwarts I couldn't help but be amazed. ' I wonder if I can assimilate it since it's technically a book.' Seeing that fitch was In his office I touched the map and tired using my Ai chip on it.

As I expected I was able to copy the charms and enchantment within the parchment. " he's in his office look, right their" filtchs office I located at the front of the school, with a quick threeway glance we gave each other a nod and began to move out.

On our way we discussed our game plan. I will hide using the disillusionment charm whist Fred and George district filtch. Whist he chases after them I cancel the disillusionment charm and jump the cat.

It took moments to arrive at the front entrance of the school, before we turned the corner I'd already hidden myself.

As the three of us entered filtch's line of sight began shouting out the twins " you dirty Weasleys! Last month you used a spell to make my room smell of horse piss! It lasted a full weak!" I a blind rage he ran after the twins.

' so much for making a distraction, filtch really hates them' walking towards the door I easily opened it, filtch not being a wizard can't cast locking charms. Seeing my target peacefully asleep I couldn't help but appolagsie to it.

Pointing at it a used the incantation. "pigmentationis mutatio" with my work successfully done I made my way towards the meeting point, the dorm room.

Once I arrived I gave Fred and George a quick thumbs up before decidedign to turn in early for the day.

Whist everyone was eating filtch bust into the great hall " Weasleys! I'll hang you from the rafters for what you've done!" Running up to the twins he grabbed one by the collar before shouting again " who was your acompless! Tell me boy!" As he began to go violently shake Fred doubledore made an appearance.

" now now filtch you can't accuse the students of something like this, come I'll see if I can undo the magic placed on your cat" with that over and done the two left the hall but not without some hateful stares.
