Fleur pov:

For as long as she could remember Fleur has always been different from the rest of the world. Even when she was just a little girl, she has always been more, better than the others. She has always been smarter, wiser and most importantly more mature than everyone else.

At first, she thought she was just special and others were painfully limited and ordinary when compared to her. But as Fleur grew older, she realised that her maturity came from her dreams. In her dreams, she would see glimpses of an older Fleur and a boy named Harry.

Initially, Fleur thought her dreams were nothing more than a little girl's fantasy about being with her prince charming. But later as she grew older, Fleur realised that these dreams were not just some childish fantasies but rather memories from a different, older version of her.

Even as a little child Fleur realised that she is being influenced by these dreams and she was slowly becoming more and more like the older Fleur. But instead of being afraid, she happily accepted these changes because the Fleur in her dreams was awesome, the dream Fleur is a smart and powerful witch who doesn't take crap from anyone, the dream Fleur is exactly what Fleur wanted to be.

So the years went by and the dreams which were just mere glimpses before, became so much more, Fleur no longer just dreamed about Dream Fleur but it would be more accurate to say that Fleur lived through Dream Fleur's entire life.

Now here she is in a teenage body but mentally she is more like 41years old. Fleur can't even differentiate between her and Dream Fleur now and the only difference between the two of them is that of experiences because she lives in a world that is different from Dream Fleur's world.

As Fleur realised that her dreams were not just dreams, she tried to figure out what is going on but she still hasn't found a definitive answer. The best Fleur came up with is that she is seeing memories of an alternative version of her from a completely different reality.

While doing her research Fleur realised the muggles have done a lot of research on the subject of alternate realities and they have written even more fiction and stories about it but nothing that could actually help her or even prove the existence of alternate realities.

Magical experts on the matter have also already done lots of research on this matter and the conclusion they reached is that even if such alternate realities existed they would be vastly different from our reality. Like in most of these alternate realities earth wouldn't even have life and it would be just another rock floating in space. Or a reality where magic is very scarce or where primates never even evolved into humans, etc.

So the possibility of Fleur seeing the memories of an alternate version of her who lives in a world very similar to ours is impossibly low. But Fleur never lost hope and knows that her memories are real and she believes in herself, no matter how low the odds are.

Whether that world exists or not hardly matters to Fleur. What is most important to her is Harry. Even if she doesn't know if he exists or not doesn't change the fact that Fleur is in love with Harry and nothing is going to change that.

So Fleur searched for Harry and found out that this version of Harry is completely different from the one in her dreams. This version is not the only child of his dead parents but instead was born as a part of a triplet. Even the-boy-who-lived is someone entirely different in Fleur's world.

After finding out that Harry Potter also exists in her world Fleur wanted to run to him and figure out if he like her has these dreams too. But every time her fear got the best of her, this Harry already is so much different from her Harry, she just can't take the chance when there is a possibility that Harry won't even recognise her. That would truly break her heart.

No matter how hard it was for her to stay away but Fleur remained strong. At least this way there is always hope that one day Harry would also start to remember their time together.

Now here she is watching this underage duelling tournament with the rest of her classmates just because one of the two finalists is from her school.

Honestly, Fleur would rather be anywhere else. She has nothing against duelling tournaments but she enjoys the real duelling tournaments with grown-up fully-trained wizards and witches and not these little kids who barely even know how to hold their wands properly.

As a very powerful and exceptional duellist herself, Fleur doesn't enjoy watching the meagre skills displayed by these little kids who are still in school.

If she is soo tired of this tournament then she can't even think how Harry would have reacted. He wouldn't even have lasted 10 minutes and would have just left the first chance he got. Thinking about how annoyed Harry would have been Fleur can't help but smile.

Just as Fleur was thinking about Harry she felt someone looking at her, as she turned to look, she sees him sitting at the section on the opposite side. Just like that, she went completely still as her eyes are all over Harry taking in every little detail about him.

He looks as handsome as she remembered him to be, but unlike the first time Fleur saw him, this time Harry is not skinny and he doesn't have his glasses. Good! She thinks, his glasses always covered up those beautiful green eyes of his.

As their eyes met, Fleur saw something in Harry's eyes, something that she wanted to see for more than a decade now, in those green eyes Fleur sees recognition.

Somehow against all odds, Harry recognised her.
