17 The new world order!

[A/N: This Chapter is a large world info dump for you to get a grasp of this world, future struggles and missions.]

"FOR THE GREATER GOOD!", a few students shouted, while Sebastians mind froze. Well shit. This school was somehow associated with Grindelwald? Before his thoughts could run amok, the man continued.

"I am the current German Minister of Magic and Leader of the Austrian Council of Magic, Adelbert Neubauer and it is my honour to introduce you to the circle of people who know and are going to share our common goal."

"To explain everything, we will have to start as early as the first muggle world war which ended 1918. We, the local wizards, were not involved in the machinations of the German muggle leadership and kept ourselves separated. Only a few rouge wizards joined the war to live a short life in a position of superiority in the battlefield."

"After the war, we were shunned by the whole wizarding world and had to pay reparations and a few of our historical artifacts were taken. We were angry and unluckily, this rage led a few of our predecessors to follow a strong war criminal on his way towards world domination, or at least that was believed to be the goal back then."

'At least he admits that Grindelwald is a criminal.', Sebastian thought.

"He was stopped, luckily, but the harm was done. The world was at war, the muggles called it the second world war, and we were blamed again. All of us, not only the few that followed the war criminal."

"Our ministry was destroyed, just as they destroyed our magical communities and our school of wizardry. Our nation was split, and we were in a constant conflict with each other. Then, one of the most important events of the recent magical history happened.", the minister paused to let the words sink in.

Everyone was silent and listened, they were too focused to talk.

"In Great Britain, a dark lord rose to power. He called himself Lord Voldemort and he was a man as scummy as they can be. He butchered everyone and nearly made the muggles discover us and our society. Then, on the 31st of October 1981, he went to the home of an ancient family, the last of the Potters to kill them and their son for unknown reasons."

"Something he did not know, was that Dumbledore, the leader of light, protector of good and defeater of evil,", the minister spit on the ground, "would be present and that they would be forced to fight to death because of an ancient ritual Voldemort had invoked over the Potter home. Therefore, they fought, but not without victims."

"Mister and Misses Potter died, but their son survived. Dumbledore and Voldemort continued their fight for one hour straight, razing the whole nearby village to the ground. In the end, Dumbledore had to resort to using a ritual powered by a ley line to sacrifice a part of his power and send a soul attack at Voldemort, who perished completely."

"Due to him losing his power, the world was freed, but not only from Voldemort, but from Dumbledore too. He and the war criminal had used their legendary duel at the end or the second world war to sacrifice a bit of their power and many of their followers to activate another ritual that covered the whole world."

"Dumbledore, the winner, used this untapped power to force slave contracts on most leaders and sealed fifty percent of magical ley lines around the world, while forcing the world to stop progressing. Ideas would disappear from your mind; experiments would fail, and many would die. This ritual was bound to his magic prower."

"But after that fortunate night, we were free and with Dumbledore losing most of his power and falling from High War Wizard to Elite Hit Wizard, he left the spot as the leading world power empty. Therefore, the race for domination, progress and power began. Many strong nations nurture their own prodigies, their champions, and also researchers to be the leading power and rule over all wizarding nations. We, Germans, cannot do this openly and we did not have to resources. But!"

"We Germans are strong; therefore, we tried and rebuilt our school. It could not keep up, but if we tried to do more we would be hunted, as most of us are weak and we are still hated. We have a lot of wizards due to a few crimes committed during the second world war, but they are weak as they were deprived of real education. That is why we built this school with a backer, supplying us knowledge, for you, for your future, so we can have chance to survive in the future."

"That is why again, I welcome you, students, to the German Blackwald Institute of strength and research!", the minister shouted and the massed were ignited. Many cheered and were proud to have this chance. Meanwhile, a lot of mist cleared inside of Sebastians mind.

'So that is why they need to test us like this and are so secretive. To be honest, it is disturbing to know Dumbledore did all that, but this is my chance, I can use this country to become strong while staying hidden from the other nations Though, I must be careful because of Grindelwald, I still don't know everything.', Sebastian thought.

After a few minutes, Professor Krieg walked to the front to speak to the students. He introduced himself as the leader of the Blackwald Institute of strength [A/N: He is responsible for the 'strength' side.] and gave them some information about the other nations that are fighting to be the leading nation in the future.

The nation currently in the lead due to having the most treasures and Dumbledore as teacher and researcher was Great Britain.

Additionally, it was found, that the reactivation of the lay lines massively boosted the talent of young children around the age of one. As Britain was the current center of magic, they had many supreme talents despite their small magical population.

They were Harry Potter, the boy close to the blast reactivating the ley lines, Draco Malfoy, heir to the Malfoy family, Ginerva Weasley, daughter of the Weasley family, and a muggleborn student, Hermione Granger. The first three were recognized and raised as champions of power, meant to be the strongest British Wizards in the future, while Hermione was said to have created a small spell at the age of nine, shortly after she was found by the British ministry and had gotten preferential treatment from the British department of mysteries, due to her talent in spell creation and warding.

Then, there was the United Nations of America. They had two know talents, but they might have more in one of their hidden families or amongst the Native American wizards. They were Morgan Sayre, the male heir to the Sayre family, and Ashley Dumbledore-Star, a girl from a distant family, belonging to the Dumbledore family tree.

France, with only one known talent, Jaques Arquette, someone skilled in shielding and sound magic.

Nothing was known about China, as they had no centralized power, but were split into clans and tribes, which made have a smaller wizard:muggle ration than most other nations. Experts thought that they had two or three talents.

Brazil had one unknown, while Japan was so secretive it was purely luck that they knew they raised two talents. Russia had their own talent, Karina Petrov, who was presented like a trophy for everyone to see.

They were told that Germany currently had one champion for magical development and research, but they had no supreme fighting talent yet, as they could not look for them in the open like other nations.

Most of these champions were meant to be champions in terms of power, but a few nations like India, Pakistan, Brazil, and the African community focused on body and healing magic to progress and safe their place in the world.

Many other nations tried to raise their own champions or start programs, but most had no real talents or no necessary resources in terms of knowledge. One funny example was Switzerland. They focused wholly on warding and now, many nations needed to hire them to protect their own secrets. That was a good way to save their own place in the world.

After long and arduous lectures, they got their timetable and to say that it was special was an understatement:

Monday: Battle Arts and Fighting (Includes courses on dueling, assassination, etc.)

Tuesday: Battle transfigurations and potions (Includes herbology and alchemy)

Wednesday: Magical theory and research (Includes own research)

Thursday: War strategy, personal strength, and warding (Includes runes, arithmancy, etc.)

These classes will be mandatory until the 4th year and progress will depend on the class.

Friday: Elective class

Students may choose from: Field practice, Dark Arts, Extensive Battle Charms, Charms, Transfiguration, Potions, Herbology, Strategy, Extensive Warding, Care for creatures, Extensive Magical research.

Warning! Classes can be chosen every semester but not changed in between. Classes will be held depending on demand and with students from first to third year from both 'special' schools.

Saturday and Sunday: Afternoons will be spent with your group leader (a 5th – 7th year), who will choose you during the first week of school.

Sebastian was at a loss and his mind stopped working. That was incredible!
