Chapter 43 - Sunday.

[Chapter Size: 1900 Words.]

Third Person POV

Hogwarts.

...

...

Snape ate while watching his Potions professor at the main table. He wanted to exchange a few words with him, ignoring the glances while eating everything he could until he was satisfied.

As the students continued having their meals, Professor Slughorn finally seemed satisfied and began to rise from the table. He walked out of the hall to spend the day researching.

"Professor Slughorn." Snape approached him.

He looked surprised at the student and gave a small smile. "Mr. Snape, good to see you this Sunday. How can I help you?" Horace Slughorn greeted him.

"I would like to use your room to make some potions if possible..." Snape asked, and Slughorn nodded.

"The potions classroom... you need those cauldrons...?" He asked as Snape nodded.

"Yes, I need to finish some potions and don't have the equipment for it." Snape said, after all, he could only make simple potions in his room.

"Alright, use the room." Slughorn ended up agreeing with the request while pulling a key from his pocket and handing it to Snape.

Snape nodded with satisfaction and returned to his room. Gathering his things. "Hello, little one. You're hungry, aren't you?" Snape looked at the animal expecting some food from him.

"OHHH!" The Graphorn growled quickly, asking for something to eat.

"Sorry, I don't have anything to give you here, so I'll take you to the kitchen, but you need to get back in the bag again." Snape requested, and the animal ended up nodding.

Snape packed all the vials of his potion with the ingredients while the animal also entered the bag with him, leaving the room again heading to the castle kitchen.

"Hello, Lord Snape!" The elves greeted him as soon as he entered.

"How are you?" Snape greeted them calmly.

"We are very well, thank you for asking!" They all shouted at the same time.

"Can you take care of him?" Snape took his bag and pulled out the Graphorn cub, leaving all the elves scared.

"That's a Graphorn!" They shouted.

"He's just a cub, it's not like he can destroy this place. I want you to take care of him..." Snape requested while they seemed hesitant but nodded, seeing the animal ignoring them while climbing onto one of the tables and starting to eat.

"He liked my spinach potato!" An elf shouted happily.

"Will he accept my pumpkin with chocolate and peas?" Another elf said excitedly.

Snape, not wanting to hear more about that kind of dish, went to an elf. "I want a very nutritious dish for lunch." He requested, and the elf nodded with joy while preparing something before Snape put it in his bag.

"I'll leave you here; I'll come back for you later." Snape looked at the Graphorn who didn't seem to care about him anymore while eating his food.

Snape left the kitchen and walked through the castle while the students decided to go to Hogsmeade, as he hardly encountered students in the corridors, heading to the library.

Snape went to the restricted section and sat down to study for the rest of the morning. He didn't open the usual books on wizards' accounts with the mysterious space magic but went to the section that talked about the Forbidden Forest, picking up the most recent books to find out what it was that he had faced.

He began to leaf through while the book talked about all the creatures in that place. Among many of the dark creatures, he found the witch who attacked him, her history, and how she ended up in that state.

"She's not very strong, just a freak who lives outside the world's civilization..." Snape openly mocked her.

"Now this is interesting." He turned a few more pages before seeing the title, Juggernaut.

A secular beast that dominates the forest area, it doesn't necessarily need to eat or feed, hunting exclusively for fun. The beast, as he had noticed, couldn't touch sunlight.

After researching these creatures and a few more, he decided to leave the place, locking it up and leaving the empty library while the librarian didn't work on weekends.

'Thinking of her... she's my relative... I must deal with the Prince family at some point because as far as I remember... my mother was deceived by her brother...' Snape murmured internally, but he would see to it later.

He left and went to the potions room, opening it with the key Professor Slughorn had given him and closing the door while taking his bag with the items and gathering a cauldron. Hogwarts always used the best technology of the time, so he could prepare some good potions here.

He then took the Minoxidil and placed it on the table, preparing the mixture. After several dozens of minutes, he added what he had prepared with the extracted substance, mixing it all together.

He spent the rest of the day like this, managing to prepare 10 vials with what he had extracted. Using all of it, he prepared at least 50 of his formula.

"Mr. Snape... May I know what this is?" Suddenly, Professor Slughorn's voice emerged. Not that Snape hadn't already been aware of his silent presence as he finished the last vials.

"Professor Slughorn, this is a baldness potion I developed." Snape revealed, after all, he needed money and could earn something from a few rich bald men.

"Baldness potion?" Horace was a middle-aged man, but even so, he didn't seem like he would suffer from this in the future. Still, he was surprised by it. "What are the chances of it working?" he asked.

"I guarantee 100%, professor." Snape spoke with confidence in his potion.

"100%... If you say so, then I believe you." Slughorn murmured, and Snape looked at him with a good idea in mind.

"Professor Slughorn, you wouldn't happen to know anyone who needs this potion, would you? I'm looking to sell it to buy my own cauldron with better equipment. After all, I only have a simple one." He said, hoping to make some sales faster than going to Diagon Alley.

"Some acquaintances who need hair... Well, I have a few... if you want, I can talk to them. What is your price?" he asked Snape.

"1000 galleons." Snape spoke calmly.

"1000 galleons?!" Slughorn said in surprise. "Why is it so expensive?" He couldn't help but ask Snape, astonished.

"I'm not just selling a potion, professor, but a dream. Think of all the bald people who can have hair again." Snape said with a smile.

"..." Slughorn was speechless at his student and his comments.

"But 1000 galleons..." The professor tried to argue, but Snape shrugged.

"I am the only one in the wizarding world who created this potion. No one else will have it, so I am confident I will sell it at this price." Snape argued while the man still tried to argue against it.

"I know they're going to launch the Baldness Potion next year. But my potion is much better than anything they will create, plus mine has instant effects." Snape said.

"Are you sure about this? It's very unlikely they would accept that." Slughorn commented.

"Yes, that will be my price. It might be much more expensive than the Baldness Potion, but I will still keep the price for the effectiveness of my potion." Snape said.

He really didn't expect to sell all 50 vials but couldn't simply set a price now and increase it later. So, he hoped to sell at least 1 or 2.

"Alright... I'll talk to them." Slughorn commented.

"That's great. I'm done here, so I'll be heading to my dormitory." He said while packing all his things in his bag.

Leaving the potions room after saying goodbye to the professor and handing over 10 vials of the potion, he returned to the tower where the castle kitchen was.

Entering the place, he saw his animal lying on the ground. "Did you guys overfeed him?!" Snape couldn't help but ask, astonished, while the proud Graphorn had turned into a sort of piglet.

"He ate everything we gave him!"

"Yes, yes! I'm proud he ate my bean parsley with beets!"

"Stop that..." Snape murmured, not wanting to hear any more dishes they would mention after this.

"Anyway... I'll leave him here, just don't make him explode." Snape requested. After all, he couldn't take the Graphorn in that state to his room.

Leaving the kitchen, he closed the painting and was heading back to Slytherin when he entered an area where he noticed all the paintings had been removed from the walls.

"Hey, you idiots, don't you ever get tired?" Snape said as four figures emerged from behind pillars in the corridor, wearing Slytherin robes.

"Snape, we finally found you without anyone interfering!" A sixth-year student said.

"You really are stalkers. Did you know I would pass by here at some point?" Snape asked with a disdainful look.

"Tsk. It's true, you can't handle the four of us. You'll pay for everything you've been doing, you half-blood." One of the seventh-year students said.

"What nonsense. I can handle you all by casting Lumos just once." Snape said with a small smile while they looked confused. Lumos?

Some students entered the corridor, but when they saw four students against one, they started to run away.

"Don't talk nonsense, just fall so we can put you in the infirmary." One student said and cast a spell at Snape, who turned his body, making the spell miss.

"You missed." Snape smiled.

"How did he do that? Attack!" They shouted and tried to cast another spell, with Snape dodging the attack by bending his body to the side.

"Lumos Maxima!" Snape turned and cast something at the four students, the same spell he used against the giant snake. He exploded the lumos from his wand, which rushed towards them. They used shields to protect themselves from whatever Snape had sent, but shields did not stop the light from passing through, so the lumos exploded, illuminating the area.

"My eyes!" Someone exclaimed as their vision blurred with the light. As one of the students looked better, Snape, who was 10 meters away from them, was punching one of them in the side.

"Ahh!" The Slytherin boy screamed before falling to the ground.

"He's...!" Before another student could speak, a kick hit his chin, making him fall backward.

While the other two tried to raise their wands to hit Snape in the middle of them, Snape's actions were quick. He punched another student while dodging the magic of the last one, who kicked the ground after missing. Snape then delivered another punch to the last student's face, stunning all four in the end.

"Well, at least you four tried," he commented, looking at the four knocked-out bodies on the ground.

Shrugging, he started walking again but couldn't help thinking about how deficient he was in the realm of magic. Now, with his intelligence increased by the system and it possibly being his entire magical reserve, he had to use it.

"I never imagined fighting using magic, but I can start training... becoming a kind of stealth sorcerer..." He murmured, walking back to his dormitory.

He had finally completed a week at the school... he could now focus on his tasks after getting to know the school better than Snape had ever seen before.
