If Davina was looking for Alpha Axel’s opinion , she wasn’t getting it. Any sign that he was judging her negatively would hurt her. Davina let out a deep breath, “I could easily deal with him. He wasn’t a threat.” A teasing spark lit in Davina’s eye’s, she was looking forward to seeing her wolf in action.
Alpha Axel noticed the glint in her eyes, he had followed her and was watching from the shadows, he was looking forward to the showdown between Davina and the vampire but he was worried that it would be his mate getting hurt instead. “Your wolf?” He couldn’t get the picture of her weak and delicate form out of his head.
“She is back but still isn’t talking to me yet, I’m afraid she’s still upset over what happened the last time.” She wanted to take advantage of Alpha Axel’s presence to draw out her wolf out of hiding.
