~Nightmare Flame~

A flame that feeds strength from the belief and fear others have of it and it's creator's flames.

Can burn using the enemies' fear. Once fear of this ability fades, so will it.

Can cause pain solely based on the individual victim's fear, does not cause any actual damage to the body, nor mind. Has physical properties to it, unlike ~Illusion Flame~

~Temporary Passive/Active Ability~

~~~
'Is what it seems like at least... Though I had to figure out most of it on my own no thanks to Libbo...'
<Hmm~ your hand writing looks pretty~>
'Haha, aww shucks~'
<But you know~ I'd really prefer it if you didn't use my home as a storage space you know~?>
Sitting at a table while drinking some tea, the Goddess and Camellia sat calmly while petting the small Libbo who laid compliantly on the floor next to Miss Mona... While surrounded by food and junk weapons covered in rust, scraps of wood, piles of fertilizer, and old clothing the villagers had all donated.
'What ever could you mean dearest Mother, Miss Mona?'
<Hmm~>
as they both sipped their tea with a sly, creepy grin on both their faces, libbo could be seen shuttering slightly as Mona's petting became a bit more stiff.
<Get out of my house>
'Yes ma'am, sorry ma'am, right away.'
Standing up, she gracefully patted nonexistent dust off her legs and butt.
**PUSH-OVER!!
'Oh thinking about it, my assimilation said 1.3 there right? Nice! why didn't I get a big buff tho?'
~~
Processing...
Answer: its .1% ?
~~
'R- right...'
<Really you're the strange one for expecting something from a measly .1% dear~>
'I swear I'll-'
<You'll~~~?>
...
Freezing for a moment, she brings her hand to her forehead and starts scanning the area like she was searching off a pier.
'I'll clean up this room eventually. I agree, it seems pretty cluttered.'
***GROW SOME BALLS
[Whoa now Jaxx, that isn't very 21st century of you]
{Rude}
***Sigh... We just can't seem to win today huh me?
'What do you mean, you got yelled at by 2 gods, I simply got scolded by 1.'
***Why you...
'Regardless, before I go I wanted to ask you one more thing Miss Mona'
<What now~~>
Slouching back in the least lady-like way while also somehow still looking elegant, Mona seemed quite tired and done with Camellia's antics by letting out a big sigh before being forced to listen.
'Its about that spy.'
Jolting slightly, Mona raised her head and peered at the girl through her cheeks with interest.
'Do we know anything about them? Or have any info I can use to identify them? We're about to have a big battle at our gate, I want to make sure I can avoid this guy who's been blessed by the gods if possible.'
<Right...>
Looking back up at the sky, Mona put her curled index finger on her chin as she fiddled with her teacup using her other hand.
<Not really. All we really know at the moment is that he is a guy, he's blessed by this universe's gods and that he most likely has a guide like us. Other than that, even I've been cut off from talking to the others since a day or so ago>
But more useful right... haha of course... That contact thing is concerning, but I'll leave it be for now.
'Alright, thank you.'
As her figure starts to slowly fade away, she thinks to herself one more time as dread looms over her, forcing her to drop her head in sorrow.
'So he's got the exact same set up as I do, but better in every single way... Better body,(***She assumes) Better Abilities,(***Likely, but still assuming) Better guide,(***This one is just rude to Mona) Actual blessings,(***You have to have one yourself for him to have a better one, Mona's is basically useless) and he's probably got a better spawn point(***It'd be very hard to top your starting situation yea)'
Opening her eyes under her mask, she sat in Zeph's arms as they stand on top of the gate, peering down to the scared scout, trembling in fear.
"Who are you to nap in a situation like this one?"
"It's tough holding those flames up yknow?"
Sighing, she dropped her head slightly before looking down at the man dubbed 'Trist' give up all hope as he starts silently laughing to himself under his breath.
'Looks like I'll definitely have my work cut out for me huh.'
Looking at Zeph and Camellia, the camera slowly descends down, showing the unfinished interior of the gate before looking down at the roughed up dirt. Turning around as it climbs up the sweat drenched back of the trembling scout, showing us why he'd been so terrified.
Before him stood a countless number of elf-orcs, all wearing versions of the terrifying mask we'd seen so many times today. Little did he, and the rest of the elves know, these were almost all failed products of when Camellia was trying to make her own mask. The purple eyes were from her attempting to infuse the mask with her flame, random in number and in placement for each mask as most of them were just practice.
Zeph's suit of armor was less durable than even cardboard as it was just some fabric she had lightly woven on top of shaped bones, acting almost like a rib cage simply there to give the fabric an intricate looking shape.
The creatures were practically just a mask on strings much like a puppet, with the thinnest fabric possible acting as its body. Being held up like a hot air balloon, it's greatest strength would be as a pinata meant for the weakest ill-bodied child.
"I suppose it's time for the final act."
Lightly nodding his head, Zeph lifted his axe, and hit it against the ground, creating a loud banging noise, grabbing everyone's attention to him.
With fire beginning to spew from his arms, he raised his axe, signalling the Elves to leave. Trist became confused, yet was too scared to think. His gaze back on the fleeing group, he failed to notice Camellia raising her hands.
"Goodnight Mr scout. May your dreams haunt you till you've fulfilled my expectations."
'Hopefully this works like Illusion Flame, ~Nightmare Flame~'
Hands made of purple fire began to raise from the ground like the un-dead trying to leave their graves.
"A- aahh! Nono! Go away!"
*CRASH*
Looking to his left, he could see what seemed to be a giant with one eye, towering over the shabby houses, as it looked around before fixing it's gaze on him.
"N- no..."
The flames grew brighter and stronger as he could see a man made of lilac embers stumbling towards him. He had a shield on one arm, yet he was missing the other half of his body, as if he had his head and torso cut in one swoop.
"P- pierce..?"
*RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE*
The gate behind him began to open, yet his gaze was locked on this ghost look-a-like of his seemingly dead companion. The silhouette raised its arm and pointed towards the opening gate as a purple dog with three heads attacked him, and started eating his body. The un-dead finally lifting their bodies out of the ground, with the Cyclops closing in, he managed to shock himself back to reality.
Trist slowly stumbled to his feet, and started walking towards the gate with not a single emotion in his eyes. He walked towards his horse, who had been eating a carrot out of the little girl's hands, patiently awaiting his return.
He patted the horses head before climbing atop, grabbing the lead used to steer, his eyes couldn't seem to focus on anything around him anymore.
Feeling a slight nudge to his left hand, the girl put a note in his palm along with a little satchel before closing his fingers around it.
"Make sure you remember why you came here."
*NEIGH*
After hearing the first proper phrase in what seemed like a century, the girl spanked the horse, causing him to disappear into the distance.
"Did you give him the proper stuff?"
"Don't worry y'old pervert, I gave him exactly what I needed to..."
'Right?'
"Pervert..?"
~~Processing...
Answer: Probably, yea.
~~
'Th- thanks for that... very riveting answer Libbo...'
~You're welcome master.~
'YOU-!?'
<Aww~ look at them getting along~>
[Truly beautiful how innocent children are, play fighting at a time like this.]
{Adorable}
In a large room with an important man sitting on a throne-like chair at the end of a large table who could be seen laughing proclaimed loudly to the blue haired man that stood before him.
"I like this man! Prove yourself and I'll give you a rank befitting of a lord!"
"Eh"
After saying his offer, everyone in the room was shocked to the brim, questioning what their entire lineage did to have put in so much work just for a newbie to get offered the same rank as them...
Just what is going on in this human city?!? What's so special about this blue haired man?!
