36 A Council Meeting?

---

--

Watching the patriotic speech being given to a crowd of giant, buff elves by the small pink haired girl through a big milky orb that floated above the large rectangular meeting table. A group of mysterious figures watched and listened to her plan with grins and frowns alike as the picture became hazy and distorted.

[Hoho! Seems as though the little guy is starting to get a hang of things wouldn't ya say?]

{Mm.}

-Calm down with your outlandish claims Sage.-

[ITS MAGE! You aren't even trying anymore!]

Looking around the room, multiple people could be seen sipping tea while joking about. They each seemed to have their own personalized seats and cups that matched them, not the room they sat in.

-I refuse to call you something that stupid-

[You're so rude! Can't you just respect my name and put up with it? It's not that bad of a name, Right Beast-Lord?]

{Hm... Meh?}

The room was surrounded by a hazy white mist for walls. It wasn't bright however despite its colour, as the mist lightly covered the floor, shrouding the legs of the figures. They sat at a large and long rectangle table, where the 'rude' man sat at the very end like a king would.

-Ha! See! He said more than one word, AND it sounded uncertain! haha!-

[Wha! Shut it! He- you didn't mean it like that right..?]

{*Slurp*]

[DONT JUST DRINK YOUR TEA AS AN ANSWER! And those were noises he made! not words!]

There were many empty seats that seemed out of place, yet special in their own way, just like those that were occupied.

The mist had shape to it. Giving the walls, and ceiling, a cathedral like shape, which worked nicely along side the large, dim lit room, which was filled with rows of pillars that pulled it all nicely together.

-Why not? Hahah! I think its the perfect answer!-

This man was bigger than the others, his voice resonated about, loud like thunder, yet was clouded in mystery and power. He sat on a white and gold imperial like throne with a white trojan aesthetic robe, a Toga, that seemed to hang from his left, muscular and scarred shoulder.

[What do you mean perfect answer? He just doesn't want to offend you is all! Right?]

This skinnier looking man, wore a dark blue robe with purple accents scattered throughout that raised questions in your mind just from looking at it. His face was covered in mist, just as the others' were, yet you could still make out the shape of glasses as well as the wizard shaped hat that sat lazily on his head. His seat looked like an office... chair? Wait is that just an office chair?

{Hmmm...}

Turning his face, he showed the numerous scars on his neck and arms. Unlike the first man's scar, these seemed to have been earned from difficult fights, unlike the smooth one, that seemed to have been unneeded damage mentioned before. He wore heavy fur with a buckled rock like leather belt that covered his whole torso. His chair seemed simple yet comfortable, made of wood and fabric that could barely be seen due to his long black hair flowing through the creases and cuts. His face seemed tough, but nothing could be made out through the mist other than the relaxed red eyes that pierced the fog with ease.

*Clap!*

``Po!``

Clapping their hands, a small girl could be seen having fun in her chair, enjoying the fight she had silently been watching.

[Great, now this crazy... Hey Kira~? Could you help me out here~?]

Now pleading with his hands together, he faced the kid, who seemed to be about 8 or so, with sincerity on his face. Her face barely peaked above the table top, while she sat in a chair that was obviously much too big for her.

``Hmm...``

Turning her head, she cutely furrowed her eyebrows and grabber her chin, as if she was thinking really hard for a suitable answer.

-Change how you talk to her, you sound like a creep.-

[Wh- What?? How?? I just... that's not...]

{Creep}

``Po!``

Suddenly releasing a puff of smoke, she seemed to have grown in age as she now looked to be in her late teens. Her hands were up in an Oshi Dashi-ready Sumo pose for some reason, as if she was the joke character in a antique Japanese disguise showing up to a fight. (If you know you know)

``Pervert!``

{Pervert*, Sorry.}

-Pervert... Yes, that fits quite well.-

[You guys...]

Defeated, he slouched deeply in his chair as the tip of his hat slouched over along with him, as if it had a mind of its own.

-Alright, getting back to business. I have received notice that my brother has interfered with my universe-

As the echoed words left his... mouth? -As the words resounded through the room (***yea that's better), not even the wind dared move. The room grew stiff and rigid, the air dry and chilled, all movement seemed to freeze in time and place.

-Of course, as you all know, this is no small matter. In my mind this has led to a few possibilities as to why he would openly do something like this without even trying to hide it;

1. He noticed our sending of a spy

[Hmm~ this one seems a little off canny for him... He's not the type of person to steal a soul from us just to prove a point.]

``Agree!``

2. He doesn't know about our spy and is simply off playing his own game

{Possible}

[Yes, he does have a twisted way of thinking. Instead of sending a soul from his own world to gather information over time, he would rather steal someone with the information sheet already filled out.]

``Mhm mhm, yes yes I see.``

3. He's planning on intercepting our spy, removing him from his universe before he gets too strong.

[Ah, that one is definitely possible as well. Clipping him at the bud before he blooms, using an outside agent to control the spreading of knowledge of celestial gods and conflicts.

If this is the case, we can assume he will probably set his spy in decent luxury with a few blessings as well as direction...]

``Po!``

Transforming once again, she now took the form of a fully developed young adult. Her grey coloured hair, with striking red tints and highlights throughout could now be clearly seen. Her figure could be described as perfect, with every curve and bone being visible, covered by the clearest mystical skin that seemed to gleam, even while shrouded by the cloud, mist and fog that stemmed from her transformation, before dissipating into the room's atmosphere.

***Wait is that why the room is so misty?

Clasping her sharp, mature jawline with her hand, she seemed slightly deep in thought before calmly-

``Damn prick, I'll murder his ass, who does he think he is? No really?! I OTTA, OH LEMME TELL YA WHAT I'LL DO TO HIM``

Calmly lost it? She looked so calm, yet yelled loudly full of anger while swearing like a sailor... how..?

-Right... Well regardless, I believe our best course of action would be to inform Mother Earth of the situation and watch it play out.-

[That's it? We aren't going to give him a blessing ourselves? Or keep tabs on their counter spy?]

-Why would I do that? Hahaha! He might be our spy, and it might have been a little bit~ difficult to send him over, but I truly do not care about him at all!-

{Heartless}

``Mona can get out just fine on her own without that damned bastard, as long as that young idiot of a girl doesn't get too attached to that dweeb it should be fine. He's just that replaceable after all.``

[What heartless gods you all are... And what do you mean young, you were an 8 year old but twenty seconds ago!]

``Shut up you damned idiot, whether I look 2 or 900, she's still my useless daughter after all you damned stupid ignorant runt idiot.``

***She's Mona's Mother?!? .... Nono... This actually explains a lot despite making no sense...

-Well regardless, as Time lady Kira has said, he's truly just a replaceable man that I chose solely to make sure he would stop annoying me-

"She's amazing! Truly irreplaceable!!"

Unlike the gods' view of Camellia, the people of the village grew dependent on the little girl while they worked on building traps and weapons for the upcoming visit from their owners.

Watching people carry bags of white powder as well as wood into small cabins near the main gate, and others scaling the makeshift scaffolding on the walls, everyone seemed busy and hard at work. With Camellia digging hiding holes in the walls (***Titans beware!), Zeph supervising the production of her new trap-like cannon designs, as well as arming everyone with good quality weapons, and even the venomous woman Maki and her gang were helping by making sure the traps were in the right spots, while also keeping them invisible to the naked eye.

'Mm, Looks like everyone is working hard!'

Dangling off the side of a carved out wall, string grew from her claw to the floor far below. Wiping the sweat from her forehead as she fixed her bandana, Camellia grew a smile on her face. Squinting from the sun, she couldn't help but be amazed by all the ant like workers that seemed to all be doing their parts!

'Hehehe, they're all dancing in the palm of my hand, rejoice my people! For our days of glory shall come under my command!'

Raising her hands to the sky as if she was praising the sun god, she grew a gross cartoonish smile that spanned across her whole face.... as well as some drool it seems... oh man, this is really our main character...

<Now now dear, don't get ahead of yourself~ ... And wipe that disgusting grin off your cute face, you're ruining it.>

Little did they know, they'd need every second of work they spent and more, for the upcoming day of reckoning.

The final day of the Forest Elves' Village;

--5 Days remaining--
