Monster

Yousuke heard the villain curse, but he didn't have time to ponder on it since Kurogiri was soon attacked by Thirteen's quirk. The teen couldn't see if the villain was surprised or anything because of his misty face.

Much to his horror, it seemed that Kurogiri's quirk could even transport Black Hole's absorption, as before either of the heroes could do anything, Thirteen's quirk was used on her instead. For a few seconds before the heroine stopped using her quirk, the quirk ripped apart her suit on her side and even managed to wound her.

As if satisfied with his work, the villain nodded appreciatively at the damage done and warped out of there, going to the lanky man's side, who was waiting next to the huge monster.

Yousuke moved to the pro hero's side, working quickly to fix the wound before Thirteen could pass out from blood loss. He made countless balls on one hand, most of which went inside Thirteen's body. Most were there only to provide more energy to the pro hero and to numb the area, while a few moved around Thirteen's body through her bloodstream.

Stopping the bleeding, increasing the adrenaline by stimulating the glands, bolstering the body's natural healing, mending the suit to protect the affected area; all of these were done in the span of a minute. Now that her situation wasn't looking as bad as before, the pro hero found the strength to talk.

"Thank you... but please run after help now..." spoke Thirteen, unsuccessfully trying to stand up and failing.

"No can do, teacher. If I just leave you here you'll probably die." replied Yousuke, nonplussed.

The teen grabbed the pro hero and put her on his back, using the back of his suit to make something to hold Thirteen without the need for his hands. With the pro hero safely secured, the teen looked around and noticed the rest of the villains that were in the plaza earlier were gone now, with Kurogiri and the huge monstrosity standing around, the lanky man, who was standing in front of Midnight, and the teacher herself, who was barely staying upright.

'Judging by Kurogiri's earlier words, they're probably waiting for All Might to try to kill him.'

And wasn't that a sobering thought? Unless they were were mad or had someone who had other motives backing them, they'd have to be confident in their own abilities to attempt something like this.

It was extremely terrifying for everyone here, because none of them could even give All Might any difficulty in a fight. Nevertheless, both the teachers and the hero hopefuls couldn't just avoid the villains; there were far too many.

All over the different zones where Kurogiri had split up the students that got caught in the portal, the trainees were fighting back against the villains. It was quickly becoming apparent to all that those villains brought by Kurogiri were not that strong. It didn't make the hopelessly desperate situation suddenly turn around on its head, but it gave the students a glimmer of hope.

While the other students were slowly pushing back the villains, it was the opposite for Midnight. The heroine was bloody, bruised and beaten, while on one of her forearms, the skin was missing. It was practically a miracle that she was even conscious now, and her current state was due to the lanky man. Yousuke didn't see what he did, but it must've been related to the missing patch of skin.

The teen was rushing down the stairs as he was observing this. Thirteen wasn't unconscious, but she had been quiet for some time already.

"Kurogiri, why isn't All Might here yet?" asked the lanky man, and the question seemed to be asked in a childish tone unbecoming of the leader of the operation.

"I don't know, Tomura." replied the misty man.

"How are the heroes still alive?" asked the recently named Tomura.

"I don't know, Tomura." replied Kurogiri.

"Why aren't you more aware of your surroundings?"

"I don't know, To-" started the villain, but he stopped himself once he realized the question wasn't asked by Tomura.

Almost as if he appeared out of nowhere, Yousuke used his full weight to dropkick the misty villain. He wasn't sure if his whole body was misty like his face, so he hit the most obvious place: the neck bracer. It seemed very effective, as the man was rendered unconscious upon hitting the ground.

Midnight turned to see what just happened, and upon seeing her student there, she spoke.

"Why did you come here...? I told you to stand back and leave the USJ..." as she was speaking, it was obvious the effort was taking a lot out of her, even if she wanted to hide that.

"Why? I can't let you die like this, teacher." Yousuke easily replied.

"What's with this unnaturally charming character appearing all of a sudden?" muttered Tomura.

Yousuke walked over to Midnight and grabbed her arm with the missing spot of skin. It wasn't visible from a distance, but it was clear that the damage was spreading. The teen used his balls to stop the damaging process and revitalize his teacher. She wasn't back to her peak fighting form, but she'd be able to defend herself.

Satisfied with Midnight, the teen turned to face the two villains left. Yousuke was seemingly walking leisurely towards the two, even if he was replacing the smaller-sized balls in his suit with bigger ones for efficiency as he was moving.

He didn't know how it worked, but it seemed the bigger the volume of the object spun, the more energy it makes. Additionally, the energy of one ball of any volume was much lower than the energy of a ball of twice the volume, less than half.

"Did he just buff himself?" mumbled Tomura, mouth twitching beneath his hand mask.

Yousuke heard the villain, but didn't show it. He just gave a shallow smile and rushed forward at the blue-haired man. Tomura saw the quickly charging hero and shouted to the huge monster, who still didn't move from its spot.

"Nomu! Get him!" shouted the villain, and the ominous wall of muscle disappeared.
