A certain bandit camp

I looked at the man in front of me with cation.

"what is this place? Who are you?" I asked.

"nice to meet you, miss Ayaka. I am god and I am here to send you to another."

I furrowed my brows.

"what kind of bullshit is that. Do you take me for a fool?"

"what I'm saying is indeed true, miss Ayaka."

"if what you are saying is true then prove it to me."

The man in front of me nodded and snapped his fingers. The next moment a golden light covered my left hand and when it dissipated I realized that my left hand had heeled. This injury was my life's biggest regret. I was a professional swordsman sometimes back. But this injury crippled me and made me unable to fight. After I became crippled I fell into despair and spent my life in my one bedroom apartment. I watched anime and read novels to pass my time. I patiently waited for my life to end in hopes to maybe become a swordsman in my next life.

"do you believe me now?" the man in front of me said.

I looked at him and nodded.

"I believe in you. But why would you help me like that?"

" no particular reason. I just want miss Ayaka to have a pleasant life."

I smirked at the mans words.

"do think I will believe that?"

"no I didn't think you would believe that." The man said.

I looked at him and smirked,

"then would you be kind enough to tell me the reason why you are doing this?"

"I'm sorry miss Ayaka. I don't think I'm a kind god at all."

"aww, but I thought we could go on a date if you tell me the reason of my transmigration."

After my words I could clearly see his head twitch.

"I'm sorry miss Ayaka, but I don't have any wish to be rapped."

This time my head twitched. What he talked about was from my past. In the past when I first got my injury many people mocked me. One of them was a guy whose name I don't remember. That guy specially annoyed me. So I took him to a date, made him drunk and hired some men to do some yoga with him. It was a really fun memory to be honest. Thinking of the ending I couldn't help but laugh.

"exactly, that novel was actually sent by the gods for you. It wasn't actually a novel but a manual for the world that you are going to."

"eh does that mean I can experience the hero dying in full 3D?" I got exited just thinking about it.

"its up to you to decide that. Anyway all you have to do is protect the Saintes."

"the Saintes! You mean the cry baby princess who literally cries in every sentence."

"yes."

"and why do I have to do that?"

"I cant tell you that."

Seeing the man in front of me not wanting to talk, I gave up.

" well anyway, do I get any cheat ability's.?" I asked. Since it was a really important question. If they just decided to throw her into the world of magic without any cheat ability's. It would be hard for me to protect myself let alone the crybaby princess.

"I wouldn't call them cheat abilities. They will just make you above average."

"aww, what a bummer. Cant you cut me some slack?"

The man looked at me and shook his head.

"come on , Mr. self proclaimed god, at least consider how hard it would be for a beauty like me to survive in this vile world. What if I got attacked by bandits? Aren't you worried about me?"

"about the bandits future."

"cough!" I couldn't help but cough out blood.

I looked at my side and saw a huge translucent window. I walked over there and there were something's written on it.

"are these all of them." I asked.

I frowned. Because there were only five abilities.

"yes, all the abilities there are the ones that are compatible with you." The man said, still standing where he was before. He seemed very uninterested of the abilities I get.

I looked at the five abilities and started reading their description,

• Umbra-kinesis: The ability to manipulate darkness and shadows. This ability can be used for various purposes, such as hiding, sneaking, or spying. It can also be used to create weapons, traps, or illusions from shadows, or to travel through them.

• Hellfire: The ability to generate and manipulate a special type of fire that can burn anything, even souls. This ability can be used for various purposes, such as destroying, torturing, or marking others. It can also be used to create weapons, barriers, or symbols from hellfire, or to summon demonic beings.

• Dice of Gods: Gods don't play dice, or do they? Find out the truth of godhood by playing dice with the devils. The conditions are simple. If the number of the dice is even you will win and achieve godhood immediately. however, If the number is odd. The devils will win and you will be cursed to become a devil and be banished to the depths of hell. This ability can only be used once.

I looked at the screen and pondered for a moment.

According to what I read in the novel dark magic related abilities are looked as a taboo. And here I was stuck with 4 dark magic related abilities. Except for dice of gods, all of them were dark magic related abilities. Or maybe dice of gods is also a dark magic related ability. Why are all of these abilities dark magic related? Am I that bad of a person? I mean all I did was to kill my family, and maybe did some killing here and there. It shouldn't be that bad, right? '

'Oh well no good thinking about it. I should select the ones that sounds powerful. Necromancy is good but hellfire can summon demonic beings, so I should cut necromancy off the list. The demon form is good since I can get a buff. This means I don't need to use magic in the broad daylight. I think I should keep the Dice of God. I know it's a very risky skill. but it could become a good last-ditch effort. So my selection Is Hellfire, Dice of god, and Demon Form.'

"yap I am done."

"since, you are done. I will send you away."

The man clapped his hand and the scenery in front of me changed.

(THE UNKNOWN GODS POV)

"Tch! F**king b*tch."

Looked at the women who slowly faded away.

"How can such a filthy women become a chosen one. She doesn't even have a holy attribute ability."

The women just now didn't have any holy attribute ability. It's true that when I heard she didn't have holy attribute ability I lost interest in her. What could such a women even do?

" What ever that's not the important thing now."

I shook my head and looked at the data of the next candidate. A smile couldn't help but form on my face.

"16 holy attribute abilities! She's a genius!"

I quickly got myself ready for the next candidate. I need to give a good impression of myself.

(MC's pov)

The scenery shifted in front of me. The with space suddenly became a green forest. There was a river flowing by beside me, birds were singing, there were occasional chattering of animals. It was indeed a nice place to be. But what made me happy was my hand has been heeled. I swung around my arm .

And it seemed to be in top notch condition. After a bit of testing my hand I started to concentrate what was around me.

"A river. It was said that rivers always lead to human settlements. "

So I started following the river. While walking I started to cast hellfire to test how it works. It's pretty simple to be honest. You just think about something to be engulfed by flames and it happens. Though the felling while using it is very strange. You feel like you are farting?

Pretty strange, though I can guess it is because of the manna that is being sucked out of my body.

I kept walking for the next few hours, while trying to figure out ways to use my hellfire. It can basically incinerate most liveng things. And it's red color gives it a very sinister vibe. And when it incinerates humans it gives out a very demonic vibe. Just like the one in front of me.

" aaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggg!!!"

" Tch, too noisy."

I increased the intensity of the hellfire and completely disintegrated him into nothingness.

The other men who were trying to rob me a few seconds ago were now looking at their dead comrade with wide eyes.

"Hmm, should I try demon form?"

I thought as these idiots are really good practice dummies. This world doesn't have any law enforcement people so killing them is just akin to decreasing the population a little bit.

"lets see."

I focused as I tried to activate the demon form ability. The way to activate my abilities were already in my head. So it's really easy to do so. To activate my demon form I just need to bring out my inner evil. As I did so, a smile crept on my face as I looked at the bandits.

The bandits who were already terrified looked at me with constricted eyes. One of them even tried to run.

"Aaarrrggg!! Demon!"

I jumped towards him and toy surprise I reached him in few seconds.

"Wow, I am fast."

I tried to attack the man in the balls, but what happened next even disgusted me. The man just straight up got split in two.

" eww, bandit blood."

I pondered on the blood the got on my shirt and jeans for a few seconds. And then looked at the other bandits who were now kneeling on the ground.

" please spare us miss. We won't tell anyone that you are a demon."

" yes, please spare us. We won't tell anyone."

"Huh?"

Did they think I am a demon?

I looked at them with confusion in my eyes. Then I suddenly realized that a black smoke was being emitted from my body.

Is this demonic energy? But isn't it exclusive to the demon race?

And if I am using demonic energy right now how was I using mana a few seconds ago. As far as I know from the novel, demonic energy is exclusive to demons, mana is exclusive to humans. I was so confused. But then it suddenly hit me. Could it be because of my demon form ability?

It's possible. I canceled my demon form ability and sure enough the black smoke disappeared.

After that I reactivated my demon form ability. And the black smoke appeared again.

So is the ability.

I decided to focus on the bandits for now. There were four bandits in total. Since I was planning to experiment a little anyway I decided to test out summoning from hellfire. I walked to the nearest bandit that was still kneeling and shaking in a funny way.

" please, spare me. I have my family waiting for me at home."

" oh, you have a family."

This piqued my interest.

"How many members are in your family?"

The man who was shaking looked at me as if he found a new life.

"Yes, yes, there are 3 members in family. My wife me and my son."

"Hoho, what's your son's name?"

"It's …it's Henry."

Tch, he's lying. Seeing the stuttering he was doing while saying his son's name made it obvious that he's lying about having a son.

And here I thought that I got a few more Gini pigs.

Seeing my face of disappointed face the man's face became pal.

Before he could say anything a mahic circle formed bellow him.

Next moment a red flame covered him. After some time the flame disappeared and what was in front of me is a kneeling bandit with a calm composure.

"Looks like it is a success."

I then moved onto the next three bandits and did the same to them. One or two of them tried to run but I commanded the newly summoned servants to hold them down. After a while four men were kneeling in front of me.

" your wish is my command, milady."

They said in unison. A little cringe to be honest. But I guess it will work.

" okay then. Guys , take me to your base."

The bandits nodded and started leading the way. After a while I reached a place were it seemed to be a village.

" how many of you guys are there?"

" 30 to 35."

"I see."

I fell into deep thought. It's easy to kill this kind of mobs. But I want to use the summoning magic.

"Hmm." I pondered for a moment and then made a plan. The plan was to deactivate by demon form and then stealthily knock them down one by one. Each time I knock one down I use the summoning magic. This way if I get discovered mid way I at least will have some servants. With them I can then catch the rest of the bandits and voila. I have my own army.

I started with the north side of the camp. First, second , third, one by one my servants increased as I knocked out the bandits. After 30 minutes of hunting my servants increase to at least 10. You can't speak easy until I got discovered by one of the bandits who started Screaming.

"Oh, Well. No can do. I guess it's time for the frontal assault."

I signaled my servants to attack the front gate. I kept on cleaning the wandering bandits. After taking down another two, I decided to go to the front gate. When I reached the front gate what I saw surprised me. Most of the bandits were down. There was only one bandit standing who was fighting with my servants.

I didn't waste any time and ended the battle with a swift karate chop on his back. Though I think I might have broken it.

I mean his head was hanging in a weird position. So I sure I broke it.

After every thing was over I commanded the servants to throw away the dead ones and gather the conscious ones in single place.

"well, that was easy."

I went decided to take some rest. My manna was almost dry after so much summoning.

In the next few hours I used hellfire summoning on a few more bandits which made my servant count to become 27 in total.

"Pretty , good. Pretty good."

I looked at the men that were kneeling in front of me.

" Your, wish is my command, Milady."

They said in unison.

"Hehe."

Not gonna lie. Being surrounded by twenty seven men that are wagging their tails like dogs makes me feel like a protagonist of an otome game.

Though, I like girls, this kind of change of pace isn't bad.

I looked at the men and ordered two of them to come forward.

" you, go and prepare the best room you can get."

I said to one of the servants.

" yes, milady."

He quickly stood up and went somewhere in the camp.

"You guys go back to your duties." I commanded the rest of the group and they soon went away to their positions.

There were only me and one servant left beside me.

"you, take me to where you guys keep the women's."

Since I'm here, I should mess around a bit I guess.

The guard nodded and took me to a tent nearby. The tent was small and when I went inside I was quit surprised. There were only three women who were tied by chains. All of them were sleeping very soundly. What surprised me was that one of them was a demon who looked to be ten years old. Aside from her, there was a human child who also looked to be around ten. And there was a middle aged women who was hugging the two children and sleeping peacefully.

"And there goes my appetite. Why are there only tree women here I asked as I walked out of the tent."

" They are hostages. Milady."

" hostage! Then don't you keep any other women here? "

I asked as I was confused that a bandit team would not usually let go of women.

" We kill the women and only bring in good looking young men." The servant answered.

"oh. So you are that kind of group."

I nodded understanding the situation. Even in the novel there were a bandits group like this. They had kidnapped a someone from a rich family and the hero had to come and rescue them. He even got himself a new demon in his harem.

" wait!" I stopped as I realized something. Could it be…

I turned to the man who was walking behind me and said,

" What is your bandit teams name?"

" milady, we are known as the 'bros before hoes' bandits."

There it is, the cringe name of the bandit team that the hero beat down.

" Aaarrrggg, how many days has it been since you've kidnapped those three?"

I asked.

" We just kidnapped them today and we're about to send the letter for the ransom money."

"Good don't send the letter until I say so."

I walked to a servent and asked to take me to my room.

After walking into the room I laid down and started thinking of my next course of action.

If the hero comes it will be a little troublesome.

Wait, I am a girl.

So If I play as a victim here that perverted hero surly will help me get to the capital. And this way I can get an identity for myself by leaching off the hero.

With this though in mind I called a servant and ordered him to prepare the latter to be sent.

After that I fell asleep while thinking of various scenarios of what I could do possibly.
