First Step

Jey's annoyance and sadness towards Aaron last night just vanished after getting the call from the latter. She sprints toward the bathroom and checks her look in the mirror.

"Gosh! Who the heck are you?" shriek Jey.

Realizing she doesn't have much time, Jey quickly washed her face, brushed her teeth, and smoothed her hair using her fingers. After that, she walked quickly to her walk-in closet.

Some apartments in Rheinland City have almost the same interiors for each building. That is because the owner of this building designed it that way. Until recently, many real estate entrepreneurs wanted to collaborate with the boss behind Rheinland City's glory. But no one has ever seen the true figure of the real estate tycoon.

"Oh, my silly Lily! I love you full! I promise that I will give you my second costly liquor." pledge Jey looked at her wardrobe, which was full of various kinds of clothes.

After choosing a one-piece knee-length floral dress, Jey stood in front of her dressing table full of 101 skincare and makeup.

Jey just sprayed a face mist, applied bb cream and lip gloss to her face, and finished.

To make it look a little formal, Jey decided to wear beige slip-on shoes instead of sandals. Jey rushed out of her penthouse, ready to meet the Ice Emperor.

Aaron sat on one of the sofas designated for the waiters in the lobby of the building. Next to him, there is a white thermal insulation bag.

Whether living in the building or just passing by, every visitor to the lobby turned their heads to Aaron. He got various reactions from people around him.

Aaron spent his sleeping hours thinking and reflecting on his actions last night. He realized that he had indeed crossed the line in his words. Moreover, one fact that kept him up all night was his status in Jey's life. Aaron realized that he was just one stranger out of the many people Jey met.
