Chapter 4 - Let's Talk about Love

When Jewel goes to work, Lavor was still sleeping soundly.

That's alright for Jewel. Actually, it would even better if he's already gone when Jewel comes back from work.

"Jewel, how old are you again?" One of Jewel's coworkers suddenly asked her.

Jewel who's thinking about the unknown guy that was in her house was suddenly asked by her coworkers.

They were now having their lunchtime at the lodging area in their store, together with her two coworkers, there's a total of 3 of them eating lunch. They're now eating the lunchbox they brought from their own home.

"Huh? 22 years old? Why?" Jewel was not sure about her answer, she's not listening to what they're talking about earlier.

"So your already 22, had any lovers before?" Johnny, one of Jewel's coworkers suddenly asked while both of his eyebrows raising up and down acting suspiciously. He knows that Jewel doesn't have any lover now which is why he only asked if she had any lover before.

"Don't have any." Jewel answered shortly.

Love and lovers. Jewels' forehead starting to frown.

A lot of people asked her about this question and she doesn't really like where this talk is going. When people heard her answer they were usually shocked and will start asking her to have one already, that she's already old enough and should experience the fun of having a lover or puppy love before settling down, some people even mocked her for not having one before.

"You're already 22 years old and you still don't have a lover?" Lillia, also one of Jewel's coworkers exaggeratedly asked.

As expected. Jewel thinks.

Lillia's reaction was already in Jewel's expectations.

"In your 22 years in this world, have you ever had any sex before?" Lillian suddenly added. She was intrigued by Jewel's answer of not having a lover.

Jewel didn't answer her but start to eat instead.

But some people say that silence means yes. So Lillia takes Jewels' silence as a 'yes'.

"AaHhHh!!" Lillian suddenly shouts.

Jewel looked at her shocked.

"What?" Johnny asked her frowning. He was also shocked by her shouting. He went to get water for a bit and now he heard Lillia suddenly shouting at Jewel while looking shocked at Jewel and Jewel also looking at her with a shocked face. He was also shocked, everyone was shocked. What's going on?

"You also haven't kissed anyone before?" But instead of answering Johnny, Lillia asked Jewel instead.

She just bowed her head again and just continue eating, wanting to ignore the person.

"Ahh! Let's be friends. Oh wait, we're already friends." Lillia said but it seems like she's just talking to herself. She suddenly becomes energize learning that Jewel is a total virgin. No one really knows what she's thinking.

"Let's be sisters instead." Lillian just keeps talking even though Jewel looks like she's not listening to her.

'Who wants to be your sister.' Jewel just keeps answering her on her mind but not a single word comes out of her mouth.

"Then I'll be your mentor." In the end, the real intention comes out.

"Who wants you to their mentor." Jewel also finally said out loud.

Jewel just rolled her eyes.

She stopped eating and raised her head but was meet with Johnny's big eyes instead.

Jewel rolled her eyes again. She doesn't know how many times did she rolled her eyes already.

Is it really that shocking? A virgin, of course, she hasn't kissed anyone yet. It's totally normal.

"Do you also want to be my mentor?" Jewel suddenly asked Johnny. Her tone was calm but you can't underestimate the look in her eyes. She was looking at Johnny as if she was looking at a retard.

But the retard just gives a positive answer.

"Stupid." Jewel gives a one-word answer before she stands up. She's already done eating and can't wait to stay away from these people.

"Why? What's so wrong about an expert teaching a novice?" Lillia protested, she felt that Jewel saying stupid to Johnny was also meant for her.

"Why don't you two teach each other instead, after all, you both want to teach someone." Jewel said while cleaning her lunch box.

"What's so fun about teaching someone who already knows everything." Lillia responds to her full of indignation.

"Right, it's fun doing it you know? Don't you also want to do it?" Johnny also added.

Jewel suddenly stopped and looked at the both of them who's also standing and started cleaning their lunchbox. The looks in her eyes turning suspicious.

"Or, you don't want to teach each other because you're already done teaching each other. Mmh? Looks suspicious." Jewel said while still looking at them suspiciously.

"Of course we didn't do it." Lillia immediately reacts to what Jewel said.

"Right, we haven't done it yet." Johnny also added. His reply this time doesn't really have any hidden malicious content.

But Jewel looked at them even more suspiciously.

"Haven't yet. Oho! Sounds suspicious." Jewel said while looking at them with eyes full of questions.

It seems like every word of Jewel this time are full of hidden dangers.

"Why the hell are you also answering back. Why don't you just shut up?" Lillia realizes the mistake and directly smacked Johnny on his back.

"What's wrong with my answer? Isn't my answer the truth? We haven't done it yet. Don't tell me we've done it already without me knowing?" Johnny also got a bit angry and look at her doubtfully.

In the end, Jewel also gives them an ambiguous look.

Johnny finally realized that there was something wrong with his sentence earlier.

But Jewel didn't let them both go immediately.
