1 Chapter 1

Your POV

I was getting ready to do my morning routine for my days off. I had no shoots to do and no casting calls to go to. I was free to laze around. I start making coffee for myself and turn on the radio as I do. I hear my phone buzz and glance at it, seeing that it was my "boss" aka best friend. I ignore it and grab my mug from the top cabinet. I pour my coffee until I hear my 7 Rings ringtone play. I pick it up and see it was my best friend calling. I answer with an attitude.

"It's my day off. You better be wanting to take me to the spa today or you're getting cussed out." I growl.

"So much hostility today. Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?"

"I'm not playing with you, Emma. You better have a damn good reason why your calling me and it better not be for work." I tell.

"....."

"Are you fucking kidding me?!?! This is my only week-long break this month!! I've been working my ass off the past three months for your shoots and commercials that aren't even worth it!!" I yell.

"I know, but.."

"But nothing!!" I yell.

I take a deep breath, realizing I was turning into one of those divas and calmed down before I speak again.

"Emma, I'm tired. I haven't gotten a good night's sleep in months and I only get so many breaks with them. I want my week break to be work-free so I can recharge and be better for the next audition that comes." I tell.

"...I know. I know. But I was going to say that I am on speaker with a casting director."

My eyes go wide and I facepalm myself.

"He was pretty moved by your acting skills right now and wants you in his next movie," Emma tells.

'I would love to have her star in the antagonist role. She brings so much fire and passion.' he tells.

"I-I would love to start in a movie of yours Mr...?" I ask.

"Martin Ivy," he tells.

"Mr. Ivy. Could I ask what the movie is about?" I ask.

"Certainly. The movie is about forbidden love between two spies. They know they shouldn't be together, but their hatred to each other makes their love for each other stronger." he tells.

"I thought you would be a perfect fit for the role," Emma tells.

"I would love to audition then," I tell.

"There's no need. The acting you displayed on the phone is more than enough to cast you as the villainous spy. We'll talk more about the script in the next couple of weeks." Mr. Ivy tells.

"Th-Thank you, sir. I won't disappoint you." I tell.

"I'm sure you won't. My people will call your manager with the details of your contract. Goodbye for now." he tells.

"I will speak with you more later Y/N," Emma tells.

"Right. Goodbye." I say.

We hang up and I squeal out of excitement. Coffee was forgotten, I jump into the shower, jumped into my clothes and out the door, I go. I get in my car and drive towards one of the best boutiques I know.

Rodeo Drive.

I stop by Starbucks on the way, still wanting coffee, and grab myself an iced white chocolate mocha and a chocolate chip cookie dough cake pop. I make my way down the street towards Rodeo Drive, eating my cake pop as I go, walking towards Ralph Lauren. When I walk in my name immediately was called as everyone greeted me.

"Hey Y/N!!!" everyone says.

"Hello everyone!! I need three dresses, red, black, and blue!! Stat!!!" I tell.

Everyone scrambles looking for dresses as I walk towards the register counter, where Aubrey, a close friend giggles as people scramble around like headless chickens.

"So what is it this time? Modeling gig, commercial, a date?" Aubrey asks.

"No, no, and hell no. You know Martin Ivy?" I ask, taking a sip of my iced coffee.

"One of the few rising producers to make a name for themselves here, why?" she asks.

"He called my agent and long story short, he wants me in his latest movie," I tell.

"That's amazing. With one of his movies, you'll go places. What's the name?" she asks.

"I don't know. He's going to send the script to Emma and she'll send it to me." I tell.

My phone goes off just as I said it and look at it.

"Speak of the devil. Here's the script." I say.

I pull it up and see that it's an action romance movie.

"Lines are drawn when the good-natured spy, Agent Kingsley falls for the evil heartthrob spy, Agent Monarch. From just this is amazing." Aubrey tells.

"I know, but I don't know anything about being a spy, much less an evil heartthrob," I tell.

"You're the antagonist? Girl, you have this in the bag. Just be your sexy self and you'll nail it." she tells.

I look through the script and see that there was a cast list. I skim through it until I see one name.

"Oh my god," I say, my eyes going wide.

"What?? Who's on there?" Aubrey asks, trying to look over my shoulder.

"Scarlet fucking Johansson," I tell, passing her my phone.

She looks through it and laughs.

"You're going to be the spy lover to one of the best actresses ever." Aubrey laughs.

"She's an egotistical drama queen." I scoff.

"Who knows. She may be actually a good person," she tells.

"The rumors beg to differ. They say she has a new girl in her bed every night and had paid someone to "date" her. Everything about her is just as fabricated as some people in California." I tell.

"You still can't believe that everyone here is fake," Aubrey tells.

"I'm not saying that. I've met some genuinely amazing friends here. I'm just wary of new people." I tell.

"I'm glad you're not weary at me," she tells.

"You were a bitch to me when we met." I point out.

"That's because you had the audacity to say that silk and rayon had no difference in them," she tells.

"That's when I was starting out in this town. Now you, fashion guru, have changed my outlook on clothes." I tell.

Three people race over to me and presented me with dresses.

"Black, nice choice. Put that down as a maybe. Red, no. Just....no. Blue, could have done better. Next." I tell.

They bow and rush away. Aubrey and I look at each other and start giggling.

"Your fans just need to chill out," she tells.

"I've tried, but they want to treat me like this. I've just given up on trying to reason with them." I tell.

Three more people come up and I raise my eyebrow at the dresses.

"I'm seeing a theme with the sleeves. Blue is a no go. Love the red, put that as a maybe. The black one as well. Next." I tell.

They bow and scurry off as three more come up.

"Yes. Yes. Yes. All of those are yes. Actually, bring that second black one here. I'm indulging myself today." I tell.

Aubrey scans all the dresses and I pay for them. As Aubrey boxes them all, I turn to my fans and smile.

"Thank you all for looking for me. I'll be sure to bring in some sweets for everyone." I tell.

They smile, say there "Your welcomes" and take some pictures with me before leaving. I turn back to Aubrey and smile as she hands me the boxes.

"Thanks, Aubrey. I'll see you Wednesday for our yoga class." I tell, walking to the door.

"9 am sharp. No oversleeping," she tells.

"I'll try," I yell over my shoulder.

I leave out with my dresses and walk to my car. Before I could do anything, someone knocks into me and makes me drop my dress boxes.

"Goddammit!!" I say.

I bend down to start picking them up but see someone else start to help me. I look up and see the smiling face of Scarlet Johansson.

"Hello," Scarlet says, smiling.

"....H-hi," I say.
