Chapter 9: rivalry

Hime is in her room sleeping inside her black coffin bed. Her beloved pets were sleeping next to her. She felt safe by there soft fur, brushing against her. But her dreams were suddenly changing. She can feel her head hurting her. The metal plate felt tight around her skull. She can feel her body being drifted towards the darkness. She was falling. Her white bat wings were locked up by some sort of cuff. She couldn't fly, she landed on a hospital bed. Straps were locked around her ankle and risk. "What? What's happening?" She struggles to set herself free.

"Now, now, dear 666. Don't make a fuss now. They'll be coming in shortly." A voice says in front of form within the darkness.

Hime struggles more to set herself free. "Who are you? Where the bloody hell am I?"

"Why dear 666, you're in the examination room of course." The figure steps out to reveal a woman, in an all-white dress and hat as she held a clipboard in hand.

Hime struggles to set herself free. She looks around to see where she's at. She noticed that there were others but they were children. She saw one little boy who looks to be around 6/7 years old. He has red curly hair. He was crying. She saw the nurse sticking a needle in him.

"What are you doing? What are doing? Leave him alone?" Hime scream in panic, she tries to set herself free.

The nurse looked at her as a smile crept across her face, as she pushes it deeper into the boy's arm, causing him to whimper as she steps with the clipboard. "Your turn." She holds out a rather large needle.

Hime tries to move away from her, "Get that thing away from me! Stop! Stop it!"

"Now, Now. This won't hurt..." she grabs Hime by the shoulder and held her down as she grabs her arm and sticks the needle into her skin, "...A bit!" She smiles as she injects the yellow fluid into her arm.

Hime gasp, the liquid burns her skin. She can feel it flowing into her. She felt heavy, not numb but heavy. "W-what did you ...what did you ...do to ..me?"

"Shh," the nurse shushes her as they heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Her red lips curled further into a twisted grin, "The doctors would see you now." She says as the echoing footsteps draw closer and closer as they ring through her ears.

Hime couldn't focus. She looks at the doorway. She heard one familiar voice. It was a woman. She didn't get a better view of her. Hime tries to get away but she didn't have the strength.

The door cracked open as the nurse stood by and bow, "The patients are ready to see you, Dr.Williams. They have been restrained."

"Thank you, nurse. I see that the children are in place." The doctor spoke in a solemn tone as she walks about towards them as she stops in front of the boy.

Hime tries to reach out her hand to the red-haired boy. "Le.....Leave him...alone."

"Silence child. Your turn will be soon." A deeper voice says as the nurse bows once again, "Welcome Dr. Holloway. Please, come inside." A tall figure steps into the room as he wore a long white coat that was a button up to his neck and a black respirator mask, he sports wearing black latex gloves and boots as he had to bend through the door, nearly towering over Dr. Williams and the nurse as Hime could feel a strange aura from him.

The red hair boy holds out his hands towards Hime. He looks weak, tired, he didn't seem to have the strength anymore.

"H...Hime."

Hime reaches out to his hands as well but the straps prevent it from happing. "2424.." Hime calls out to him. She can see his two black eyes crying. Dr.Williams gently stroke the two to show them with ease.

"Shh, you two. It will all be over soon." Dr.Williams says in a soothing tone to ease them but the air around them felt too thick to even breathe.

"Hime,...it...hurts." The red hair boy voice croak. Hime can feel it too. She can feel the tears coming down. "Count to ten, 2424. Remember to count to ten."

"Did you provide the injection." Dr. Holloway's voice booms into the silent air as the nurse nods. "I've given them the minimum doses. The effects should start soon."

Hime can feel her body getting heavy. Her breathing starts to change. Her breathing starts to slow down. Her heart beating was slowing down. She starts to feel cold.

Why? Why is it so hard to breathe?

Hime counts to ten backward but her voice would not come out.

Dr. Williams brushes back a strand of Hime's hair out of the way as she steps back and watches her and 2424, "Where are the other patients, nurse?"

"They will be here soon."

"Interesting. Only, five of the children have powers already before five-what do you think Dr. Holloway?"

"I still say to let me dissect them to see what is protruding through their bodies, the causes of this," Holloway spoke indifferently.

The heart monitor shows that Hime's heart stops beating. They stood for a moment, watching to see if anything change in an instant.

Help! Please! Help me!

Hime's body didn't move for a second. It starts to lose heat from her body. 2424 start to cry. He holds out his hand to reach Hime's.

"Shall I?" Holloway holds out his scalpel.

"If you may," Dr. Williams says coldly.

Is this it? Is this how I'm going to die? But I don't want to die. I want to see the sky again. I want to feel the grass. I want to see the ocean. I...I want to...I want to see him again. Hime tries to remember a little boy that she met back in the park. His place blond spike hair and his sweet caramel scent. She wants to see him again. No! I don't want to die. Not yet. Please! Not just yet. Her heart monitors tart to beat again.

"Wait!" Dr. Williams holds her hand up as Holloway stops midway from almost cutting Hime open. The scalpel inches away from her skin as he looks up and so does the nurse.

The heart monitor beep twice again.

Not yet! Not till I see him again!

The heart monitor started to beep four times, then six. Hime gasp for air.she cough a little from the liquid that the nurse gave her.

"Well, well. Welcome back to the world of the living 666."

Dr. Williams says as she watches her heart monitor once again.

"Unfortunately, " Dr. Holloway grumbles as he pulls away from the scalpel.

Hime gasps as she looks around. The fluid she coughs up tastes like poison. They were trying to get herself out of the lab table. "LET ME OUT!"

A hand shot out and grabs her by the throat as Dr. Holloway held her in place, " Hmmm. Interesting!" Dr. Holloway says in a deep, husky tone. Intrigued as she struggles.

Hime struggles to set herself free. She gasps for air. She looks over at 2424 whose still reaching out for her hand. His body moves harshly. Hime tries to pull the doctor away.

"Quite fascinating, isn't it?" Dr. Williams appeared beside him as he held Hime, "Apply more pressure." With that, Dr. Holloway's grip tightens more around her neck as she feels the pressure he was implying on her neck.

Hime struggles more. She can feel her face turning red, she couldn't breathe. She kicks and moves her body around. No! PLEASE, NO! ....NO, NO, NO, NO, NO,

"NOOOOOOO!"

Hime's body starts to glow around her, she can feel the warmth. The glow started to grow hot.

"My, oh my! It seems we're having a reaction- she's glowing!" Dr. Holloway smiles crookedly behind his mask as he grips tighter.

Hime gasp for more air. She can feel it, the heat around her start to get hotter. It was slowly melting the straps, the bed, and the wires. The doctor's hand start to feel a burning sensation around his hand.

"Doctor?... your hand!" The nurse started as dr. Holloway smiles darkly as he can feel the burning in his hand but not once did he even flinched. "Let her go. Mr. Holloway. There something else to try." Ms. Williams says coldly as he retracts his hand.

Hime couldn't help it. The heat grew hotter in the room. She tries to stop it but she couldn't. The glow grew brighter.

"Doctor! Is this supposed to happen?" The nurse says in a somewhat panic voice.

Hime let out a scream. She can feel her body growing hotter. She needed them to run, to get out.

"Aaaaaaaaah!"

Jasper wakes up from the nightmare. He holds his head as he can feel it throbbing in his head. The pain on his back shoulder burns him. He can feel the tattoo being hot. The shape of the tattoo is a lion standing on its hind legs. It has a crown on top. He walks towards his mirror that's hanging behind his door. He stood in front of the mirror, a tingling, burning sensation ran through his body as the throbbing continued in his shoulder it felt as if he could move it ever so slightly as he looked at the tired boy in front of him. Staring back at him with tired black eyes as he rubs his shoulder. He hasn't had that nightmare in a long time. The memory keeps flashing back in his head, over and over again. Reminding him of the pain, the feeling of the drugs burning in his head. How long he wish for it to end. But he knew it would never end. The pain never stops. He looks at himself in the mirror again to only see Violet crying out to him, begging the doctors to stop. But he couldn't do anything about it. He can hear her screaming in his head. She kept crying out loud for someone to help her. Jasper couldn't get it out of his head. He punches his fist on the mirror, cracking the glass to pieces. His six black eyes glare at himself. He couldn't have the screaming girl out of his head.

Shinso blocks the wooden sword with his wooden sword. He can feel strength from the last hit. Hime swings the sword fast to his side. Shinso jumps back, Hime catch on. She drops down by putting her whole weight on her hand while she slides her leg under him. Shinso drops down hard on the ground. Hime jumps up in the air, she swings her sword down at Shinso. He rolls his body on the ground to get away from her. He gets back up, glaring at her.

"Are you crazy? Are you trying to kill me?"

Hime places her sword up, pointing at him, "If I don't fight for real then you won't try to protect yourself. I notice Mr. Aizawa holds back on us. But mostly on you since you don't have a quirk for an offense."

"So why swords? Shouldn't you teach me how to fight with fist."

"I well, in time. But a hero must learn ever technique as much as possible. You'll never know when you might need it."

"That makes sense." Shinso looks at the wooden sword. Hime places her sword down.

"Do you want to take a break? We can keep going if you want to."

"Mind we take a break?" Shinso can feel the sweat following down.

"Yeah. We can take a short break." Hime walks towards the shaded tree where Fenrir lays asleep with Hel. Mei was busy explaining to Adam about the registration papers. Hime finally got the chance to talk to Nezu about the situation that Adam was in. If it was possible for Adam to join in U.A. hero course? Yet, Nezu didn't seem all that surprising or laugh at them. Instead, he gave them the paperwork and handbook.

"Done with training?" Mei smile.

"Ah, for now." Hime opens her bag to hand Shinso a water bottle. "How are things at your end?"

Adam: 👍

"He's a bit curious about the school rules and everything!" Mei laughs.

"I can't believe you got the principal to agree to this?" Shinso drinks his water.

"I don't believe it either. I was shocked that he just hands me the paperwork." Hime explains. "But I guess it works out. Adam would be a student and a club member. So it's killing two birds in one stone."

Adam: 🥳🤩😖

"Hehe, excited my friend?"

Adam place his robot hands out to talk to her, "Do you think I would be treated as a human boy? I'm so curious about what it's like to be human? Ah! What hero name I should call myself? Should I design my hero outfit? Oh gosh! Let's be a duo on hero missions!"

Hime covers her mouth from showing off her smile. She kept laughing at Adam to see how anxious he was getting. To her though, can robots even feel this nervous at all? No, she knew that Adam is one of a kind.

"So, what name are you going to put?" Mei holds up the sheet of paper of personal information. Adam tilts his head a little.

"Easy, my last name," Hime told her. Adam looks at her. Hime sees him stare at her. "What, you don't want to? I mean, if you want to name yourself. Feel free to do so."

Adam looks at the paper. He grabs the paper from Mei. He places his first name in. Adam looks at Hime in a bit of confusion.

Adam: 🤔 "Last name; it shows that you are part of a group. Sharing the same name also means that you share a kinship with others."

Hime nod her head, "Yes, it does."

Adam: 😕 " But I do not have other kinship to share with. I am not a person. Nor do I have the terms family."

Hime looks at him and crosses her arms. "Adam, you don't need to be human in order to share the same name as me. We do not need to have the same blood to be family. We have been together since day one. We are family no matter what others say."

Adam look at the paper then look back at Hime. He seems to hesitate to write it down. "What relationship do we share?"

"Eh?"

Adam: 😐 "what is the relationship between us? What type of kinship to we have?"

Mei and Shinso look at Adam and Hime. They can tell that Adam looks a bit confused. Hime pats his head gently.

"It's simple. You are my little brother. And my best friend."

Adam looks at the paperwork. He wrote down Seifuku on the paper. He also sees the question if he has any siblings going to school. He checks yes and wrote Hime's name down. Hime pet Fenrir's head as he places it on her lap. Shinso looks at them in confused.

"Why do you treat it like that?" He asks her. Hime's ear twitches to his direction.

"He."

"What?"

"Adam is a He."

"Yeah, Okay. Why do you treat "him" like that?"

"Like what?"

"Like it's human. I mean, it's interesting to see it act and think like it's human but it's not. You treat it like it's an actual person. You even told it's your brother. But it's not."

Hime slightly glares at Shinso. She pulls Adam to her chest. Adam looks up to she her face. He can tell that she's a bit angry and yet sad.

"Adam is human. He acts and knows emotions. He is my brother. He is my family. He's more human than anyone in this group. Like all living things." Adam looks at her more. "He haves a soul. Just like you and me."

Shinso raises his eyebrows at her, "but it's..."

"He!"

He sighs at her, "but it's a machine. Are you sure it's not acting this way because you program it this way."

"Adam is his own person. He chooses to be a hero on his own. If that's what he wants then I'll give it my all to support him."

"But it's..."

"He! Call him by his name! He is not it, not a machine! He is an actual person."

"It's just..."

"I think today's lesson is over. We have half a day of class. I'll um see you after school." Hime grabs her things. She places Fenrir's leash on. Hel climbs in her bag to sleep more. Mei stacks the paper for her and hands it to her.

"See you, Hime. Oh and bring your sketchbook! We need to discuss which babies we can make."

"Yeah. Sure." Hime grabs to swords from Shinso. She didn't bother to wait for him to hand it to her. Shinso looks at her walks off angrily.

"What is her deal!" Shinso groans at Mei as they walk inside to school. "She does know that thing is a machine, right!"

"She knows. But I get what's she's coming from." Mei told him as she opens her locker. "I feel that way sometimes about my babies."

"How long do you know her?"

"Not long. Hime helps me out when I pass out. Heheh, that's how I found out about her designs. I knew she would be a great partner since she likes machines so much."

"But you don't find it weird that she sees that is a person?"

Mei looks at him then sighs, "When I visit her classroom. I always see the hero students talking to Adam. Adam understands emotions. At first, I was a bit hesitant too. But when Adam came in for some repairs. I actually got to talk to him. In a way. He acts more human. It's the first time I ever see a robot acts on its own. I don't know if she programs him that way or not but I can see that she care for him and he cares for her too."

"So it's not weird for you?"

"What I'm saying is, give Adam a chance. You'll be surprised." Mei pats his shoulder. "Besides, If I get close to Adam. I might get to be able to hack into his codes to see what makes him so unique! Seeing what is the inside of a robot that has a mind of its own!" Mei squeal like a fangirl. Hime walks in and chops her head with her book.

"Oi! What dirty thoughts are you thinking of with Adam?"

"Hehehe, let me see your codes, Adam! Come on! Let me take a peek inside you!"

Adam: 😰😨😱😳 Adam hides behind Hime as a shield. Mei gets closer to him.

"Come on Adam! Let's see what's make you so unique!"

Adam hovers away from her but she tries to catch him. Adam hovers away from her. Mei keeps following him.

Adam: 😰

"Come, Adam! Just a little peek!"

Adam: "you just want my body! Pervert!"

Everyone looks at Mei with big eyes. She shook her head, "Ahahahahah! No, it's not like that! I just want to open him up and see what makes him so special!"

Adam: 😫 "Help! This pervert is trying to get me to go with her!"

"Shhh! It's not like that!" Mei scolds him.

Adam: 😫 "Stranger danger! Stranger danger!"

"What a weirdo!"

"Who is she trying to do something with that robot?"

"Wait isn't she from support course."

Mei glared at Adam," Adam!"

Adam: 😫 "I don't want you to look at my insides! Strangers danger!"

Hime rolls her eyes. She wraps her arms on Mei and grabs Adam, "Alright, shows over. Time to get to class."

"Hime! Do you see what Adam is trying to do! He tries to make it sound like I'm a pervert!"

"Well, he's not lying. You want to open him up to see what makes him."

"His codes! I want to see his codes!"

Shinso sees the two of them walk off. Hime looks back at him. She tilts her head Adam to get him. He hovers back to Shinso and pulls out his robot's hands.

Adam: 😌 "Time to get to class!"

Shinso catches up with them and walks by side. He waves at them goodbye once he stands in front of his classroom.

"We're having a meeting in your dorm. Fair!" Hime told him.

"Huh? My dorm?"

"Yep!" Mei grin at him.

".... no!"

"Okay, we go to your dorm!" Hime wave.

"I just said no!"

"Yep! After school, we go to your dorm!" Mei agreed.

"I just..." they walk off, leaving him alone in his classroom. He sighs knowing that they probably meant it. Two days since he joins the support club. And two days since Hime trains him. Most of the training exercises were too intense for him. But he sees why he has to pull himself up on the bars while she hit him in the gut. His stomach feels sore still. Then she has him carry a bag of rocks. And today, she has him do sword fight. He knows that tomorrow she's going to have him do repeat. He sighs at his desk looking out in the window. His classmates stand around him. They talk to him but he ignores them. He knows they're only around him because some hero's notice him. And that he's going to transfer to the hero course pretty soon. The girl with light brown hair sat in front of him. She turns to face him.

"You've been busy a lot lately?"

"Hmmm." He hums in agreement.

"Who's that girl you were talking to? She always around you?"

"She's a student that I have the same extra study course with."

"Eeeh! Wait, isn't she that girl that took your place in class 2-A?"

Shinso glance at her, "I wouldn't say that. She got a scholarship to join in."

"But you took that test too right? You came in second?"

Shinso didn't say anything else to her. His eyes didn't leave the window view. He saw how the sky is clear today.

The class went out today in the gym, class 2-B was there as well. Aizawa walks towards Vlad. Both of them carry a chart. Vlad was discussing something with Aizaw. They list out which student would be fighting each other first. Jasper can feel goosebumps once he saw Hime getting close by accident. He saw her talking among the girls. She covers her smile with her hand. He saw how happy she look. He felt irritated by it. The look that she was giving them. That happy look as if she didn't know who she is. He balls his fist up, he wanted to go over there but he stop himself once he saw Adam hovering in front of him.

"What?" Jasper glared at him.

Adam turns to face Hime then looks back at Jasper.

Adam: 😡 "Back off, 2424."

Jasper widens his eyes at him. He grabs as if he was ready to crush him.

"What did you call me your empty shell."

Kirishima slaps Jasper's hand away from Adam. Jasper glared at him. He was ready to use his work but Iida but in.

"Is everything alright?" Iida look at them.

Jasper glare both Kirishima and Adam, "Tch. Your not worth it, empty shell." He walks away from them. Adam: 😤😡😝

"You all right little buddy?"

Adam: ✌️😁

"All right you two, don't cause any trouble now. Let's get back to our class." Iida told them.

Adam: 😑 "Fine! Ten-ten!"

Vlad and Aizawa look at the students.

"Alright, one of you we'll be going against each other. Our first round we'll be Seifuku and Jasper." The two students glare at one another. Hime can feel her fur go up. Adam right away stood between her and the ring.

"Adam! What's with you?"

Adam: 😟☹️

"I'll be fine."

Adam looks at Jasper then look at Hime. 😟

Hime pats him for comfort. She walks up in the ring. Her eyes narrow once she saw Jasper up in that ring. Both of them walk up angrily looking at each other.

Adam hover next to Kirishima. He looks at her with a worried emoji.

Adam:😟

"Have some faith, tin can!" Bakugo growl at him. Adam looks at him in shock. "Hime isn't going to let redhead win. She's going to give it her all."

Adam: 😧

He loos a Bakugo in surprise. Hime walk up to the ring to glare at Jasper. She can feel her white fur sticking up. Jasper stood a few feet from Hime as he glares back at her, the fire burning behind his eyes were ready to start their fight as the atmosphere around them grew tense. Home look over at the teachers, waiting for them to give them the signal. Mr. Aizawa holds up his hand then brought it down, "Begin!"

Jasper cracked his knuckles as he stood in the Kokutsu Dachi stance, ready to take Hime head-on. He felt his blood pumping as he waited for her to throw the first move. Home glare back at him. She ran towards him, she jumps twirl to land a strong kick at him. He blocks her kick as he does a spin and lands his elbow to her side. Home groan bit from his hit. She back away a little to rub her side. Her pupils grew dark, covering her golden eyes. She under hook right on his chin. He managed to catch it but stagers a bit as he threw a punch towards her face. He rubs his chin a little as he stares her down. Hime blink to only feel a small drop of blood on her nose. She wipes it with her hand to only look at it. Her smile grew to only look sinister. She sent a right hook at him then sent a  jab on her other fist. Jasper staggers backward as he kicks her from underneath her feet and lands an elbow to her stomach, he felt his blood pumping through his veins as his eyes dilated a bit. Home catches his elbow on time before he could land a blow. She wraps her legs around his waist. Squeezing his spinal cord. He grunts as he puts his other arm around her and lifts her up and slams her to the ground before kneeing her to her side. Home grunt from the hard hit. She didn't let go of him. She places her claws on his shoulder. She pierced right to his skin. He groans as he lifts her up again, and slams her once more before kneeling her to the side again as he lands several punches. Home hisses at him. She let go of his spine. She brings her body up to knee his face. Hime let's go of him, she five backflips away from him. He grunts as he holds his nose and spits out blood as he looks at her, he cracks his knuckles again as he growls lowly he charges at her as he swings a punch. Home licks the blood off her hand. She can feel the stamina growing. She dodges quickly from his punch. She needle punch home with her claws. Right on his side. He grunts as he lets his spider arms come out from his back, he let them extend as he pierced her shoulders. Home growl angrily, she scratches one of his spider's legs to let her go. He hisses as he uses his spider leg to pull out of her shoulders as he used them to lift him up and kick her square in the chest that sent her flying across the ring. Hime used her wings to catch her. She flies up to look down at Jasper with utter rage. She drops down to land a hard kick then twirls her kick again to land another on his chest. He grunts as he catches her ankle and twisted it before slinging her around and about then body slams her the ground as he lands a punch to her stomach. Home groan hard. She bit the corner of her lip to drink her own blood. Hime's eyes glow gold. She wraps her legs around his waist, again. She twirls her body around his. Using her claws like knives, she pierced his back hard to make him bleed. The teachers yelled at them to stop. He grunts as he grabs her arms and used his spider arms to pierced her back as well, he ignores the teachers calling out their names as he lands an elbow punch to her face. Home grunts from the pain.she can feel her blood dripping. She bit down on his shoulder. The teachers climb on the ring to stop them. He grunts as he begins to lay punches to her head as his spider legs dig deeper into her shoulders and back as he slams her to the floor again. The teachers try to pull them away. Hime bit down harder to drink Jasper's blood. She wanted to stop but something about his blood made her buzz through memories. She can see it. Him and her, fighting like children. They were laughing together. Her claws pierced right on his shoulder. Mr. Aizaw tries to pull Hime away. Vlad did the same with Jasper. Jasper felt grew weak a bit as he felt her drink from him as he continues to fight her off him as Vlad tries to pull him away.

"Seifuku! Stop! Your killing him!" Aizawa tries to pull her off. Vlad used his quirk to push him away. she growls at them, fighting back to drink more off of Jasper.

"Mine!"

"wait,...what?" Jasper thought as he was pulled away from her as he could hold onto his neck and shoulder. Hime growl and fight off the teachers. she needed it. The taste of his blood was wonderful. the sweetness, she hasn't had something like that in forever. She wanted it more.

"Grrrrraaaaah, Mine!"

"Hime! Don't!" Jasper called out as he quickly tackles her to the ground.

Hime can feel her body burning up. she needed that blood. The memory, it flows through her brain. she can see it a bit clearer but it was still foggy. the two of them, they wore white scrubs. they were training with an old man, possibly her grandfather. But there was someone else with them. a little girl with purple hair. she couldn't see her face. the memory buzz away, "Grrrrrraaaaaaah!" Hime scratch Jasper's cheek.

Jasper grunts as he struggles to hold her down, "Hime stop! Please!"

The teachers try to pull him away from her. Hime didn't stop. she was starting to glow a little. Jasper tries to glow a little. Jasper tries to cover it up with his body. Adam came into taser Hime. she past out by the strong taser.

"W-what did you do?!" He stammered a little as he watches over Hime's unconscious body.

Adam: 😱😫😩😭

Adam pulls back to his metal wire. He scans her body to check her heartbeat.

Adam: 👍

Aizawa looks over at Jasper to see his wounds. He has the medic bots carry Hime and escort Jasper to Recovery girl. Everyone looks at the unconscious Hime. The wounds on her look deep and serious. Even Jasper looks badly beaten. Adam follows them but Kirishima stops him.

"Whoa, there little buddy, Recovery Girls the best we got. She'll keep an eye out on Hime."

Adam:

Adam looks over to only see Hime vanished in the doorway. He wanted to follow her but he couldn't. A part of him told him to wait.

Hime wakes up instantly once Recovery girl and her assistance student Lee was barely taking off her shirt. She looks around to see where was she.

"What? Where?" She tilts her head in confusion, "Why am I here?"

"You-You p-p-past out." Lee shyly told her. Hime holds her head with a groan.

"But I didn't use my quirk," Hime told them in confusion. Recovery Girl whacks her lightly with her cane.

"Yes, Yes, we know." she sounds angry. "But going all out with a student was foolish enough."

Hime looks at her confused. she thought about what had happened till she gasps. "Jasper! oh no!" he quickly gets up, "Is he all right? How is he? please tell me he's okay?"

"The young man is fine. lucky for you he doesn't have scars."

"So I.." HIme sat back down and sigh out of relief. "Thank goodness."

"Now, let's check the damage."

"No, please wait."

But Recovery Girl didn't wait. She has already taken Hime's shirt off. Recovery Girl look at Hime's back in shock. Her back is cover in scars. The fur seems to have tried to cover it but the scars wouldn't let it. Recovery Girl examines her to see that Hime has been whip with some kind of metal whip.

"Where did you get these?"

"I.. I don't remember. Not even my guardian knows where I got them." Hime explains.

"Is your Guardian,... Mistreating you."

"Oh no, ma' ma. My Guardian hasn't anything like that. She's more like a smothering father type if you ask me."

"I see,. Lee, can you pass me the alcohol and bandages. we have to clean up the wound."

"Yes, ma' ma."

"I'm fine really. I don't feel sore at all." Hime explains.

"Nonsense!" Recovery Girl scolds her. Lee brought the rubbing alcohol and bandages. Recovery Girl starts to clean up the wound but something was off. as she cleans the blood off of her, there was no wound on her. not a single scratch. Something with Jasper, she couldn't find a scratch on him. no bite mark or scratch marks.

"Strange. there is not a single scratch on you."

"Perhaps, he just gazes me." Hime lie.

"Hmm, perhaps."

"M-May I go now?" Hime wants to place her shirt back on."

"I still need to see your wounds. can't be too careful," she told her.

After cleaning up the blood off, Recovery Girl didn't find any scratch on her. she let Hime get dress and head back to class. Recovery girl stood couldn't quite understand, how was it possible two students who have tried to each other still walk around with no deep wound on them. she even tries to pull up their medical records but there was nothing on them. Once she was done with Recovery Girl, she rush back to the dorm house. Hime lock herself up in her room all day. She even told Mei to reschedule for tomorrow. She lay in her coffin throughout the entire day, cuddling with Hel.

"Hime!" She heard a knock from her door. It was Ochaco. She knock again. "Hime!" She stand there for a while but there was no answer. Ochaco came back down with everyone to eat dinner.

"She's not coming down?" Momo sound worried. Ochaco shook her head.

"Ribit, should we bring her food to her?" Tsu ask them out of worried.

Adam:😱😭

"Easy little buddy. I'm sure she'll come down when she's hungry. Eventually." Kirishima told him.

Adam drag himself to the dog's bed. He lay there, worried. He even let Fenrir chew on him.

Later that night. Hime open her door. She look down on the floor to see a cover up sandwich with chips on the side. She even found a note with it.
