Chapter 26: Big Bang Boom

Andrea wrote in her clipboard as she look at the test subject. The red and grey substance attached itself on the glass cylinder. It bang itself to escape. The goop substance seem to observe the glass weakness. She notice it have a high intelligence.

"Day 6, Dr. Holloway have me in charge of test subject X. It's my sixth day at the facility. I am working on quirk re-geneo evolution. Through time, animals have been able to evolve through their surroundings. They managed to protect themselves from predators. Even climate change. But now, human beings have evolved. Holloway believes that subject x might ..."

the sound alarm set off through the alarm. She saw the staff members running to one spot. One of the guards yelled in pain. A small child with a mutant quirk bit the guard's arm. She's young to be around 5/6. She have pure white fur. Small grey bat wings. She have bat ears and small horns grow on her head. She have short bob white curly hair, black and grey streaks grew out of her roots. She have round beautiful golden eyes. The girl's mouth hold tightly on the guard's arm. The other guard's try the open her mouth with force but the victim yelled in pain. They try to hit the girl but she stank her teeth in more.

"Aaaaaaaah! Stop that! Your making it worse!" He yelled to his colleagues. The doctor pull out a needle that hold sedatives.

"Stop right there, Dr. Linn. May I remind you, that Dr. Holloway wants six to be fully awake for a later test run!" Andrea walk towards them. Her tall slender body shock them at how beautiful she is. Her long black thick cable hair flow back as she walks mistakenly to be thread-locks . Her blue eyes narrowed at her colleagues. She's much taller then them. Around 6 ft tall. She always make people feel uncomfortable around her height but she pay no mind to it. The guard look in pain. He wanted to beat or pull six off of him. Andrea kneel down to look at Hime. She can see the guard's blood is all over her mouth. She took out a candy out of her pocket.

"Six, If you let this man go. I'll give you this and you stay out here with me."

"I don't think .."

"Dr. Linn, I didn't ask for your opinion!" Andrea's voice sound demanding .

Six look at Andrea who was holding up a sour apple hard candy. She open her mouth slowly from the guard's arm. Her teeth marks have mark have sank deep to his flesh. Her mouth is cover in blood. The man feel over, holding his arm. The blood in his arm wouldn't stop. He try to hold down the wound to stop bleeding. But he look at the bite mark, a piece of his flesh was already torn off by Six.

"That dam thing is a fucken monster." One of the guard glare at the small child. He try to stop the bleed from his shock colleague. The man is in shock from the blood loss.

"That is enough!" Andrea stood tall as she look down at the guard. "I am sure that you all have been warn that your not allowed to go in to Six room without me!" Andrea scold him.

"We were told to feed her and she just.."

"I don't want to hear excuses." Andrea growl at him. Her blue eyes narrowed down at the man. "Dr. Linn, perform a medical surgery on this guard. You probably save that piece of flesh for him. And make sure to give him the antidote before the poison kicks in."

"Poison!" The guard look scared. "What poison! Hey!"

"Please calm down! The poison Six continues lead Mr. Kim paralysed only for a few seconds. " Dr. Linn try to calm the guard down.

Andrea rolled her eyes at the man. She guide Hime back to her work space while the staff attend the wounded guard. She look at the bloody girl who seem to look at the candy as if it was a prize to her.

"I told you not to bite anyone. They'll see you as a threat."

Hime didn't respond to her. She kept quiet. She only nod yes or shake for no. She haven't spoke since she arrived here. Andrea only knew her for six days already. But the staff members told her she's been here for a month now. Before Andrea got here, Hime refuse to do anything. She was more violent. She didn't get along with any of the other test subjects. She wouldn't eat. She wouldn't sleep at night. She refuse to cooperate with anyone. However, once Andrea have arrived. Hime have became somewhat cooperative. She still bites people and throw things at the other doctors. But she still refuse to be around the other test subjects. Her encounters with the other doctors is impossible for them to receive blood unless Andrea comes to do it or tag along with the other doctors. She's the only doctor Six would allowed for her to go near. Holloway see it as a good sign and made her to be Six's doctor for now on. She refuse at first but after seeing what Six can do, it proves that her theory is correct. Andrea sigh as she look at her.

"Look, I didn't give you that candy because you bit that man as a reward. It was a trade. You let him go and I give you that. Don't think it's a prize. Okay!"

Hime look at her and nod.

"I feel like you only shook your head because you want to."

Hime nod her head at her.

"That's not really helpful!" She sigh. Once they've reach the work space. Holloway stand in front of project X. He push the button that sent a high voltage. The goop substance let out a horrible screetch that ring both Andrea and Hime's ear. X have no muscles, no nervous system. It's beyond on how it survives with out any organs. Hime glare at Holloway for hurting the creature. She charge at him. Ready to bite him. But Andrea used her hair to tie her down.

"NO HIME!"

Hime glare at him, she used her strength to pull towards him. Andrea pull her away but for a small child who around 6 years of age. She have the strength on 10 men. Andrea hold to one the pipes. Pulling her away from the Doctor. She swing her claws at him. But Andrea's quirk can do so much. Her scalps start to bleed a little. She used her quirk to smash her down on the ground. Wrapping her with the cable hair.

"Why is Six out of her cage?" Holloway ask Andrea.

"Pardon sir. But we had a bit of a situation. It was the only way to calm Hime... I mean Six down. " Andrea pull Hime back with her black cable hair. She hold on to her, claiming her down. "Easy Six. Easy!"

"Dr. William, may I remind you that we don't treat these subjects like children or pets."

"Hisssss!" Hime let a loud growl at him.

"I understand that sir. It won't happen again." Andrea told him.

"Good." He looks at Subject x with amusement. "Subject X can feel pain even though it have no nervous system. It's quite interesting. No physical body yet it still act as if it's alive." He smile. Hime shiver in fear when he saw him smile. "I want you to test subject X. See what else it can feel."

"Right away sir."

"And Dr. Williams, be creative!" He told her as he leaves. She let go of Hime who right away show attachment to X. X seem to respond to her as well. This is new. Andrea quickly record this for further research. X never show any type of socialism. Nor does Six. The two of them keep away from socialism with any other test subjects. Seeing the two interact with each is new. They have place a few "play mates" with X to see how socialism it can be but it ate them from the inside out. One point, X did try to take over a body of one of its "play mates" however the results lead it to death. X is more a parasite organism that needs a host to live. But none of those play mates were a rig match for it.

"It's nice to meet you!" Hime finally spoke. Andrea look up at her in shock. A month, a whole month, Hime not spoken till now. Hearing her spoke shook her. Six show a slight interest with Andrea but never with anyone else. She treat X like a person. "No, I live here too, like you. But don't worry. Ann will take care of you. She's a really nice doctor. Better then the other ones." Hime smile at X once she place her hand on the glass. The creature response back as it did the same. "I'm Hime. What's your name?"

They call me, Devil.

Hime was sitting in the kitchen, twirling her fork as she didn't touch the food on her plate. Her mind going elsewhere as she didn't want to think anymore. It's only been a day since the aftermath in P.E. And she still couldn't get it out of her head.

"Do you not like the liver I made? I know it's your favorite!" Sora sound worried as she look at her. Hime came to visit home for another physical and blood work test. A regular check up, Andrea's order. This time, Adam came along with her out of worried due to what happened. She heard the news that Bakugo is at hospital since recovery girl was called in for an emergency.

"H-huh? Oh..no, it's fine. Sorry Sora..." she says as she tries to take a few bites of the liver

"So! How's Sia academy? I saw a few pictures of the girls you send me. Are they friends of yours?" Andrea said with a smile. She cut her liver but never seem to eat it. She drink her glass of water.

"Hm? Oh, yeah. Their my friends....um..Andrea can I..ask you something? It's kinda important." Hime says as she looks up at Andrea and takes another bite of her liver.

"Oh!" Andrea smile widely. "I can't wait to meet them at the Mother and Daughter tea party event."

"That's kinda of what I meant..." Hime hesitate for a second, "Andrea...when is 'mum' coming back..."

Everyone almost choke on their food. They all look at Andrea who drop her fork carefully.

"Um, you know your mother is working hard out of state, darling. But don't worry. I'll accompany you to your event. I'm just so happy you finally made friends."

"Please Andrea! I-I want to know...will she be able to, or yet even attend to the mother and daughter event! I want to see her be there!...please!" Hime says barely in almost a whisper but enough for them to hear.

"Um, no she won't. But not to worry. Like I said I'll be there! I've already open my schedule for you and.."

Twice lightly kick her. She look at him with a bit cross to him. He look at her and tilt his head to show her how upset she look.

"Why!...why isn't it she can never spend time or yet--even have the time for me!" Hime says as he voice tremble with anger.

"Um well..." Andrea look at the league for a little help. But they went back to eating. Knowing this would come back to bite her in the ass one day. She grumble at them but surprisedly Sora spoke.

"She's been busy. You know that. She just want to make sure you have everything you need. If she have it her way, I'm sure she would love to spend time with you."

"Exactly. But what's all this going on? You know you can tell me anything!" Andrea smile at her and pet her head.

Hime shook her head and look down, "I..I'm sorry Andrea I just...nevermind. I'm not hungry. Thank you for the meal but I have to go." Hime gets up.

"Eh? But you just got here!" Andrea protest.

"I have a curfew." Hime told her. She set her plate by the sink. She head out to the living room but Andrea gets up to talk to her.

"Darlin, what's wrong? You have been acting wierd since you came for your check-up. You haven't spoken a word to me about school or anything!"

"Nothing is wrong!" Hime grumble. She sat on the floor, trying to put Fenrir's vest on.

"Look, I know I have been busy but I'm here. Talk to me!"

"I just.." Hime sound frustrated, "I want to talk to mum."

"Your mother isn't here. But I am and .."

"I know your here. But your not my mother." Hime told her coldly. She open the door to leave. Andrea just stood there in shock.

"I felt like we should have said something right there! Dam! Someone put an ice on that burn!"

"I'll say it once. I'll say it again." Dabi poke at the food. "It came back to bite you the ass."

"What was I supposed to do. Tell her the truth?"

"No offence doc, but it's your idea that you wanted her to live in this fantasy lie that she is normal. News flash, nothing is normal!"

"Why are you such an ass today?" Andrea grumble.

"Because you want to ignore the fact that we're villains. You want to ignore the fact that she's not that same kid that's so easy to manipulate. News flash doc, it's going to bite you in the ass."

"I DID what I could to keep her happy and safe!" Andrea raise her voice at him.

"Oh Yeah sure!" Dabi gets up. He look annoyed and angry, "Because that help a lot right? And look where she's at now!"

"And who's fault was that?" Andrea's hair start to slither up, her blue eyes turn red. Dabi's flames burst out on his hand and shoulders.

"Do you really want to have a go with me, Doc?"

"Just because I haven't been in the field for quite some time doesn't mean I can't beat your ass, boi!"

"Enough!" Tomura growl at them. "Fighting is going to solve this issue we have." He gets up from the table, ready to leave.

"And where are you going?" Andrea ask him.

"To get some dam air." Tomura shut the door.

Andrea grumble at him but her alarm clock went on. She saw the time how late it was getting. She sigh to herself when she saw it. "I'll be downstairs. Nobody comes in. Sora, your in charge of our patients!" Andrea storm off to be in her lab.

"Tch, dam hag." Dabi grumble. "What does she do all day in there? How hard is it to make the dam drugs?"

"I saw the notes!" Sora sip her tea. "Williams have tried all different methods to perfect the drugs. But it seems she's running into some difficulties."

"Yeah, her fantasy life with the kid."

"No, the doctor seem to have a hard time to make the exact drug. She's mixing it with other chemicals to see what the results lead. " Sora told them. She thought for a minute as to why Andrea is stalling on making the drug.

Hime sigh as she walk down from streets. She hate this. No answer as usual from Andrea. She never tells her the truth any way but she just wish for once she knew. She wants to talk to her mother at least to what is wrong with her. She hope that she can tell her. It's been at least three months since she heard from her and she's starting to get worried about her.

"Batty?" A familiar voice shock Hime by surprised. She turn around to see Leader.

"Leader!" Hime cover her smile, "What are you doing here?"

"I can ask you the same thing! Why are you here in these parts?"

"Oh! I live around here!"

"You do?"

"Yes!" She said happily. "What about you?"

"Oh! Um, I have a job around here."

"Oh?"

"Yeah. Heheh, it's not much but it's something. Oh! Since your here. I'll walk you!"

"I don't want to trouble you." Hime try to walk away.

"It's no trouble! Plus, I want to talk to you. About um... Our conversation the other night."

"Leader I..."

"It's Ash!"

"Huh?"

"Just call me Ash." He blush a little with a smile. Tomura walk out in the distance to see Hime talking to someone. He see the boy who look a bit older then her but she seem to know him.

Hmmmm, at least she's not alone. For now.

Tomura was about to leave but he could have sworn he saw a shadow. He stood a bit longer to see that someone is there. They're following Hime and the boy she's with. Tomura knew the neighborhood is bad but they weren't crazy enough to go after him and the league. So who the hell is that?

Hime walk next to Leader. She felt a bit conflicted about the text with him the other night. And she's not sure if she wants to talk to him just yet. Adam nudge her. She smile a little at him.

"Heh..um..you kinda gotten quiet there Batty, is something wrong?...wait--did I do something wrong..is it--about the other day..." Leader says as he tries to remain his cool and not sound as nervous as he did. Hime didn't say anything. She didn't want to think about that right now. She's more focused on how Bakugo is feeling. Leader is too busy talking to her while she thought about how badly she Hurt him. "So, do you...want to hang out sometimes?" Leader asked Hime. He blush a bit as he look at her.

"what? Sorry!" Hime hold her head. She can feel a slight headache coming. "Can we sit down for a bit?" She ask him.

"Of course! Are you alright Batty?" Leader says as he immediately sits her down.

"I'm fine. Really!" Hime sigh as she look up at the pick purple sky. "It's just.... Leader, if I ask you a question, will you be truthful to me?"

"Of course. What is it you have in mind?" He asked curiously.

"Am I a monster?" Hime said with worried. She look sad as she said that.

"What?! Why would you think that Batty? Who called you that!" Leader says both angry and worried for her. Why would she think she was a monster? For what?

"Just forget it. It's getting late. My school have a curfew." Hime gets up from the bench. She try to walk away from him. Don't you bloody cry! Don't cry! Her body betrayed her. She start to cry about the thought of how badly she hurt Bakugo. And because of her, he's at the hospital.

"Hey, hey...Batty. Please don't cry...please tell me what's wrong.." Leader says quietly as he held her to him gently, not wanting to make it awkward or upset as he hug her but still kept enough space for her.

Hime wrap her arms around him. She didn't know why but for some reason it brought her comfort. His scent smell familiar but she didn't know where. She shake off a memory that was beginning to come back. She didn't want to think of that. She just wanted to know the truth. What is she? What is wrong with her? Who is devil?

"I hurt him!" She cry. "I hurt him so bad!"

"Who Batty? Who did you hurt?" Leader asked curiously and looked at her as he petted her head. Hime still cry On his shoulder. She didn't want to say. She didn't want to talk anymore. She didn't need him to answer. She knew the answer already. She attacks Jasper because his blood smell so good. Then Bakugo, all because she's angry! This wasn't like her. She would get mad but she'll clam herself off. Never violent towards anyone. As for drinking blood, she have always ate blood before but never wanted to devour so much in her life. None of this is her. Andrea wouldn't tell her the truth. Her mother isn't around to tell her the truth. She have no one to tell her what is wrong with her.

Leader cup her face. He slowly wipe her tears with his thump. He look at her sad golden eyes. He can tell that she's hurting and it hurt him. A part of him wanted to embrace her. He wanted to hold her even tighter.

"You are not a monster. You never were!" He told her. Hime look at him. She notice he lean in closer to her. She slowly close her eyes as he grew closer to her. His breath hit her face. She inhale it. Her nose catch a husk sweet scent. Leader look at her with a small smile. He can see that she wanted him to kiss her. He brought her close to him. Both of their body's touch each other. Their lips were just an inch away but they were interrupted by the sudden earthquake.

Tomura continues to silently follow Hime and leader, keeping an eye on them as he continues to watch for any form of sudden movements of the shadow he saw. As dangerous as the league was, he knew that whoever was here--was trying to bring more trouble as he stayed hidden in the shadows to make sure Hime didn't notice him or the person.The shadow figure stop as soon Hime and Leader stop. It watched them closely from afar.

"I know your there!" The voice whispered enough for Tomura to hear. As he grew closer there's a foul smell of something die around them.

"Why don't you come on out!" The voice sound female, young, possibly a teen.

Tomura eyes narrowed as he searched for the voice, "I'm surprised that someone was able to track me--but you already knew that without even having to say a weird." He says calmly but kept his eyes peeled.

The girl have stitches around her body of different color of skin. Some of them look dried and others were changing to a rot color. She have small horns on her head and a devil tail. Her hair is pixie short. She seem small. Almost a child who look to be 13/14. But her voice sound mature.

"Hmp so we meet again, Tomura!" Her voice squeak.

"You..." Tomura says through gritted teeth.

"Aaaaw, are you mad that my brother play with your mind? How's that Mutant doing? Is he dead?" She smile at him.

"And why the fuck are you following Hime in the shadows you Frankenstein bitch." Tomura glared at her darkly.

"Hime?!" The girl smile devilishly at him as she show off her sharp teeth. "Is that what Six call herself now. How interesting."

"What. Do. You. Want!" Tomura growled lowly but only for just her and him to hear.

The girl stick her tongue at him. Tomura saw a brand on her. It's a lion that's standing on two of his back legs and there's a crown on top of it's head. He recognize that brand before.

"I'm sure you saw this before!" Her voice sound flirty. "So let's make a deal. I take Six and you'll never have to see us again! Sound fine?"

"Hell to the no! That's not going to happen! What your going to do is take your stitched doll ass away from here and Hime!..." Tomura growls as he cracked his hands, "...or you can be turned to another pile of rotten flesh that be sent to the recycling bin--if you'll be ever useable again."

The girl look at him with two different eye colors. She stare at intensively. She smile at him. Her smile look crooked and creepy. The smile it self is enough to bring shiver down your spine. She crack her neck sideways, "I like you eyes!" She said happily. She pull out a scythe that's twice the size of her. "You can give them to me!"

"I like to see you try." Tomura glared at her as he cracked his knuckles.

Tomura growled as he charged at 16, he used one of the rocks he found and threw it at her. Sixteen dodge his throw. She hold up scythe and bring it upwards towards him. A huge gush of Lava spurt out from the ground. He quickly dodged and jumped back away from the lava that came from the ground. He made a run towards the opposite way towards her before throwing another rock towards her.

"Is that your plan? Your pretty PATHETIC!" 16 smash the scythe on the ground. The whole ground start to shake. The cars start to honk. The ground push up, forcing itself to burst.

"Says the one that has to calling upon her little lava play-dohs!" Tomura says as he tries to balance himself while trying to find ways to get close to her, knowing full damn well it wasn't going to be that easy.

"Who said it was little?" She smile. Screams howl in the neighborhood. People were running away. Apartment buildings start to breakdown. The streets still shake as they ran. Manholes burts up in the air with lava fountain pouring down. Civilians start to cry as the hot liquid hit them.

Hime and Leader saw what was happening. Leader grab her risk to run but Hime heard a little boy crying in the crowd. She pull away to run towards the crowd.

"Batt! Where are you going? Batty!" Leader try to go after her but the crowd push him away. 16 laughs as she look at Tomura, "You got nothing on me. What are you going to do now?"

"That's what you thought, voodoo doll." Tomura says as the next rock he threw towards her was coming faster than the last one. 16 groan as the rock hit her. She grew angry when the rock tore a small flesh of her skin.

"YOU BASTER! HOW DARE YOU RUINED MY BEAUTIFUL SKIN!"

Beautiful? You let Sally look better than you.' He thought as he dashed forward and jumped enough to land a hard kick to her chest. 16 fell over by the kick. She growl angerily as she see him winning.

"YOU ARE NOT WINNING AGAINST ME!" She slam her hand on the ground. Lava start to boil through the concrete ground. But it wasn't flowing like regular Lava. It was turning into a form of a lava dog.

"KILL HIM!" she yelled. The Lava dog chase after Tomura. As it lash it's teeth out to his arm. 16 gets up to see that people were escaping alive.

"No one lives today!" She grumble. 16 raise her hands up . The Lava flow back, going upwards, forming to a lava monster with two heads.

Oh shit!' He quickly jumps back and tries to out run the dog like creature. The Lava dog only managed to rip a Jacket sleeve off. It growl at Tomura demonically. It corner him. Ready to pounce on him. The Lava dog jump up towards but a black shadow jump the lava canine. Fenrir growl at the creature to stay away.

"Fenrir!"

Adam: 😫😲

Adam hover towards Tomura. He look drain from trying to catch up to Fenrir.

"Adam!" He look at him in surprise. He look around to see where Hime could be. He scan around the damage streets. Building were tilted over or destroyed. Lava is still crawling around some parts of the mess up city. It's possible that Hime got carried away by the panic crowd.

Dam it kid. Where are you?

The Lava dog growl at Fenrir. The two circle around each other with heavy growls, daring each other to make the first move.

"Hahaha, looks like your pet is about to be BBQ!" 16 laughs as she fly in the air with her bat wings.

He look at Fenrir with no sense of concern. He smirks as he look at him. "Think again, bitch!"

The lava dog start to open its mouth, spitting magma out like fire balls. Fenrir dodge the attacks away from Tomura and Adam. He lead the lava dog away. Dodging the attack's swiftly. 16 look at the dog in surprise. It dodge the attacks as if reading her lava dog's movements.

What the fucking hell?! How the hell is that mutt even doing that?! It's like he's thinking like a-human?!!' 16 thought angrily as she watches the moment he landed behind one of her creatures, the lava dog as he stood his ground, standing in a defensive position. Her eyes widen as she noticed the way Fenrir open his, a form of a purplish blue hue was glowing from within his mouth and his eyes started to glow the same color as the inside of his mouth. Tomura already knew what was going to happen as he immediately covered his ears as Fenrir let out his howl.

Fenrir growled lowly as the lava like dog growled back at him, it's empty yellowish-orange eyes glow at Fenrir as it begins to spit out its magma at him. Despite not being able to hear, Fenrir could already sense what it was going to go as he immediately dodged from the spitted magma-the hot lava itself melting through the ground they were on as it continues to spit at Fenrir. The wolf-dog continued to run and dodge from its spitting attack. Fenrir jumps over one of the stone like blocks as the lava came towards him, running as it continues to spit at him. Fenrir managed to dodge his head back and forth before having to run towards it and jumps up on one of the walls before bouncing back off and landing behind it.The howl itself came from within Fenrir as it caused a gust of wind blowing harshly against the creature and 16, despite being in the air, she was harshly blown back as her bat wings managed to hold her in place but her eyes widen in shock as she watches as the lava like dog she made started to shake from the vibrations of Fenrir's howl but he didn't stop there as Fenrir ran quickly to the side of where the lava dog was, a few feet in distance as it stood underneath the water tower before Fenrir howled again. Causing the water tower itself begin to break as the water sprouted and begins to pour down on creature, making 16 scream angrily as the creature was soon solidify.

That-that mutt have a quirk? How? Heheheh, my what have you been up to lately Dr. Williams!

Tomura watches as 16 was steaming pissed off at the fact Fenrir took down her lava dog in one go as he took the chance to make a run for it and find Hime.

"Adam where's Hime? Do you know where she is?"

Adam: *nods* 🤨 👇

He pointed to the crowd of people that was running from the event that was happening in front of them. Tomura scanned over the crowd as he spot her from the crowd. She used her wing as a shield from the crowd. 'Bingo!'

He was about to head to her until 16 came at Hime in a high rate of speed, "YOUR NOT GOING ANYWHERE!" She screamed before drawing down her scythe.

Tomura and Adam dodged quickly as Tomura threw stuff at her, she blocked most of them with her scythe, "Is that all you got?!"

"Heh. Yeah, that was just a quick diversion." He says as another howl came Fenrir, knocking her forward as Tomura lands another kick but this time to her face as as he threw a heavy rock this time as it hit her in the face, making her stumble a bit.

"MY FACE!!!"

"Need a new makeover!" Tomura says as Fenrir rammed into her as well as she crashed into a wall. Fenrir ran beside Tomura.

16 gets up angry. Her face were peeling off, the stitches were rip part off her face. She glare at him with pure rage.

"I am going to crave you apart!"

"Bring it Bitch!"

"BASTER!"

16 swing her scythe uncontrollably at him. Tomura dodge her attack. He moved her away from Hime.

She's desperate! If I get her away from Hime far enough, I can kill her in a heartbeat.

Hime felt the crowds pushing her, stepping on her. The mother have severe bruises and burn marks. She used her body to protect her child. She's unconscious now from protecting her son. The boy look to be four/five years of age. He hold on to his mother as he cry in fear. The boy seem to be afraid of Hime. He push her away but his small little arms didn't have the strength to push her away. Hime groan from the pain of being pushed and step on. She wrap the mother and her son tightly. She kept them tug in under her wings. The boy still try to push her away. He was still afraid of her.

"Help,...aaaah! Well be on its way!" She told the boy. He look up to see her cry. She already have bruises from being step on.

Bullocks! Where are those heroes!

The heroes are still trying to fight the Lava monster that 16 created. But the creature destroyed buildings. It brought lava down to the civilians. They have their hands full with the creature.

16 still swing her scythe toward Tomura out of anger. She glare at him in rage. The thought that her beautiful skins have been destroyed by someone like Tomura.

"I'll kill you, I'll kill! I'll kill, you ugly baster!" She swing randomly. She cut up a few civilians that were running by. She didn't seem to care who got hurt as long she kill Tomura. He look over to see Hime still in one place.

Dam it Hime! Just move already! I can't kill her with you here!

Tomura had to dodge most of attacks towards him as he can still see Hime but he had to drive 16 away at least as he had to figure out another way to get rid of the patchwork psycho.16 notice the glance from Tomura. He keeps looking at Hime. She grin happily to this. She jap Tomura's stomach with the rod of her scythe. She rush towards Hime and ready to cut her in half.

'Oh shit no!' He quickly had to push past people as he ran towards Hime, he did managed to keep a few rocks in his pockets incase as he threw them towards 16 to get her attention back on him. 'Damnit Hime move!! Move you nut!?'

16 hold her scythe up. She smile wickedly to see that Hime is a sitting duck. 16 was ready to bring down her weapon but she felt a hard metal ball hit her face. She fell over. The crowd sort of step over her as they run towards a place of safety.

Adam: 😠😤🤬

"Good hit Adam." Tomura says as he comes in close towards 16.

Hime look up. She felt a bit hazy from the pain. She see Tomura and Adam.

"Tom...ura!" Her voice croak. Her eyes look puffy and red. She's all beaten up from the crowd.

"Hime!" Tomura darted towards Hime as he closed in on her quickly.

"what are you doing here?" She sound weak and hurt.

Adam: 😓😨😱😫😭

"I'm fine! But the mother! Adam, I need you to check her vitals! See if she's okay!" Hime limps as she gets up. Her body look shaken up.

"For Christ sakes kid! You could've die!" Tomura scolded a bit but he made sure to keep an eye out for 16. Which was odd since he didn't see her for over a few minutes.

"I couldn't just leave them!" Hime argue. The small boy hold on to Hime's leg, hiding behind her. 16 is no where in sight. She's hiding among the small crowd. Waiting for her chance.

Adam: 😞🤕 her pulse is weak. Need to be in the hospital now.

"Right! Tomura, I need your help!" Hime said as she carried the woman in bridal style. "We need to find a ambulance soon. Better yet, the clinic is not that far if I fly there first! Bring the boy with you! If I get there first, Andrea might be able to help her in time!"

Tomura tensed at this. Damnit why?! He didn't want to do this but he didn't want to disappoint or upset Hime but at the same time he had to keep a look out for 16. He knows she is somewhere hiding among the crowd or shadows but damn this was bad, this was really bad.

Behind Hime, out in the shadows. 16 can see Hime talking to Tomura. 16 rush towards her in a fast speed. She leap in the air with her Scythe held high. She's ready to kill her no matter what! Tomura felt his eyes widen as everything had suddenly moved in slow motion. One thing had lead to another, and next thing he knew, his body was moving on its own and the sight of blood was shown in front of him, like it was sudden splatter paint as the last thing he remembered was pulling Hime and the woman she held behind him as a shimmer of a rusty blade had came down within his field of vision and lastly the burning white pain he felt when it came down on him. Tomura didn't know what to think as everything had happened so quickly, and he felt his body growing heavy as he begins to feel the darkness creep up on him.She was closing in. It was finally her chance to get 666, she had crept into the shadows and watch her become vulnerable as she was--helping the civilians like the goody two-shoes she was as 16 gritted her teeth with excitement as she watches her let her guard down as she talked to Tomura. 'Now is my chance! She will be gone!'

Without a second thought, 16 jumped out of her hiding spot and came out like that of a panther hiding from within its cloak to rain down the pain on its prey. 16 felt everything around her moved in the motion she wanted as she focus her sights on Hime, her arms raised to slasher her, tear her apart, rip her to shreds like she been wanting from the begin before he came along!

'Yes! This is it! I finally have you 666! You will DIE!' She screamed in her thoughts before drawing down her scythe, a crooked yet evil grin spread across her face as she watches as the blade slashed down and created a wave of red making her grin wider. Only this time, she had realized too little too late as she saw something moved in a blur before her scythe came down, and the smile she had on her face had die into a frown completely as she saw to her dismay that it wasn't Hime she struck...but Tomura instead. 'What?! When the fucking hell did he get here?! No!..no! This was my chance!! NOOO!!'

Hime eye's widen in horror. The red blood splatter over her face. The shock is unreal for her. Everything fell to silent. She see his body slowly falling down as the blood splatter around him. This scene felt unreal. An awful nightmare. A nightmare she wish she can wake up. Tomura hit down to the ground hard. Her whole body limb down next to him. She have forgotten the mother already. Leaving her next to her son.

"Tomura!" Her voice croak. She reach out her hands to him. Slowly walking towards him. Her vision is all a blur. Tears have blinded her. "Tomura!" She try to call him out again. She hope he would stop teasing her. That it's all a joke. That this isn't real. She kneel next to him. She touch his bloody wound. It look deep. The blood kept oozing.

"Tomura! Tomura! Please wake up! Wake up!" She ask him. Her tears fell on his wound. "Please, please don't leave me!" She cry out to him.

16 looked at this with anger, no pure madness as she growls and screams at the top of her lungs, "WHY THE FUCKING HELL DID HE HAVE TO DO THAT?! WHY DID HE HAVE TO GET IN THE WAY! WHY! WHY!! WHY!!! HE RUINED EVERYTHING!" 16 screams angrily as she growls and and looked at Hime bitterly with her mismatched eyes, red was forming within them as she felt her anger overflowing.

Tomura look at the dark sky. Everything felt so cold already. He felt hot earlier but now, it's cold and it's hard to breathe. Something soft yet heavy is on top of him.

Tears? Whose crying for me? Heh, what kind of idiot would cry for a villian.

"Please wake up! I don't want you to leave me! Please!" Hime cry.

Oh, that idiot. Heh, stupid kid. "You should have just left!" His voice croak.

"Tomura!" Hime gasp. She look at him with puffy red eyes. He cough up blood. The wond on him felt unbearable.

"Leave...now..kid!" He told her. He try to move but the pain spread all over his body.

"WHAT. THE. FUCK?!" 16 shouts as she heard him talk again, "How are you even still alive?! Fuck this! I'm ending it!" 16 yells as she rushed towards them and raises the scythe above her again to slash them.

Hime see's the girl charging her. She needs to protect Tomura and the family behind her. She have no weapon or a distraction. Heroes and police won't be coming to this area. She knew that. It's only up to her to help them. She needs to protect them at all cost she needs a shield. Something to block that weapon.

-flashback-

"Whoa, Kirishima! I never knew your quirk can work like this!" Hime look amazed by his quirk.

"It's really not that impressive. It just make my skin hard!" He smile.

"Are you kidding me! Your quirk is really brilliant!" Hime told him. She suddenly touch his skin.

"Careful Hime. I don't want to cut you!" Kirishima try to pull away.

"It's fine. Huh, I wonder does your quirk on a mutation or a chemical reaction?"

"Eh?"

"Judging your quirk, your skin reminds me of armadillos. They have thick skin like plates that helps protect them from predators. Like your skin it reminds me of that. Armadillo skin are like extra layer of nails that grow on top of each other. Your quirk could be a reaction of muscle reflex that helps layer it up to a hard rock like skin.... And I'm boring you!"

"No no! It's kinda cool that you think my quirk is like that. I just never thought of that!" He smirks.

"Your kinda lucky. All I have is a shield but I still need two of my hands to move my sword around." Hime sigh.

"Hey you two, get back to training!" Aizawa told them.

Thump-dum!

Hime brought her wings up as a shield. The scythe hit her but it didn't cut her. Why? She look up in surprised. Her wings, they look like glass but only harder. 16 took a startled gasped as she felt her scythe bounce back from the sudden reflect as she looked at Hime and to her surprise, she made her wings out of glass like material.

'No way..is that?! This bitch!!!' 16 growls under her breath as she charges again and swipe her scythe, only for it to bounce back again as she screams verbally at her and tries to slash at Hime multiple times again and again.

My wing! No way!

Hime reach out her wings but she notice her arms are glass ass well.

What is this? What's this quirk?

A wicked laughter echo in Hime's head. She know that laughter from anywhere. But the voice sound faint.

'i see you unleashed Diamond!'

Diamond?

'like your friend, you came across of a quirk that you can resemble as his but only stronger.'

What do I do?

'oh? So you need my help?'

N-no!

'don't like, girly. You need me!'

Hime grunt her teeth. She didn't want to admit it but she might need his help.

No! Your awful! And I don't trust you!

'Don't ignore me brat!'

No! Not after what you did to Bakugo! I'll never ask for your help!

"AARGHHH! COME OUT ALREADY 666! YOU CAN'T HIDE IN THERE FOREVER!!!" 16 screams as she slashed her scythe at her again and again, her anger was boiling over. "JUST FUCKING DIE ALREADY!!!!"

16 smiled evilly as she sees them before speaking to Hime lowly but enough for her to hear, "FINE! Stay in there 666...but, I'm sure you won't mind I have fun with your toy over there and the next body count on my list..." she chuckles darkly as she held up her scythe, "...let's see how fast you can save a dying mother and her child..from me!" 16 hollered with laughter as she dashed towards Adam and the crying boy.

No!

Hime open her glass like wings open. She rush towards 16. But her body felt heavy for her to run. She couldn't catch up to save them.

"No! Stop!" Hime yelled. A gush of wind flew pass her and 16.

Adam, the boy and his mother were gone. Hime look around to see Leader across from her. He look warn out but he have them.

"Batts! I got them! Don't worry!" He yelled at her. "Kick her ass!" He said.

"Le-Ash! I need you to take that woman to a nearby clinic! There's one that off the edge. An old lighthouse! The doctor there can help that woman!"

"Right!" He carry the woman carefully to leave the two. 16 growls darkly as she looked at Hime with pure anger as she turns to her.Hime look at her. The scent around is death. It burn her nose intensively. Yet, she felt like she knew her.

"Do... Do I know you?" Hime ask her but still held up her guard.

"Oh? Of course you know me, I'm just a dry up doll that works at your nearby coffee shop saying hi---WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK I AM 666! DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DON'T REMEMBER ME!!!" 16 yells at her bitterly as her eyes flared with rage.Hime look at her confused. She hold her chin up to think. Her memory is all scatter and some are cut off. She doesn't know her but her scent is familiar.

"Hmmmm, I don't think we have met! Though your scent, I know of. Hmmmm, did we dated?"

"What the fuck?!" 16 looked at her with disgust and surprise.

"It doesn't matter!" Hime sound angry. "You came to my city. Destory the homes of others. And what's even more worse, you hurt the man I care for!" Hime's voice let out a growl. "Your going to pay for that!"

"Oooh? Is that so 666? You call this place--your home? Ha! What's a home that can't even be protected by those so-called heroes?" 16 grins evilly.Hime tighten her fist. She knew this side of town doesn't have a hero agency. Just police stations but they're the worst and don't care about anyone. If anything, she's the only here.

"I am," Hime look at her seriously. "I am this town's hero!" She said.

"Ooooh really? I didn't noticed!" 16 says sarcastically in a mocking tone as her scythe head hit the ground, she slowly walked towards Hime. Her scythe blade dragging behind her, making scraping sounds along the way as she looked at Hime with such a blank stare and that creepy, patchwork smile spreading across her face as if it was being pulled back revealing a dangerous row of teeth. They looked like they were going to shatter any given moment if she kept smiling like that, each step she made was menacing--sending shivers down a person spine.Hime slowly walk towards her, sprinting almost. She know this quirk won't let her move freely but if she used it as both a weapon and shield like Kirishima, she'll be okay. 16 grins even wilder than before as she sprinted towards her as well coming in close to close in the distance between them. She held her scythe up to swing it down. Hime used her arm as a shield. The scythe bounce up from her diamond quirk. 16 swing again but Hime swing her arm as a sword. 16 growl angrily as she see she couldn't lay a scratch on her.

Leader rush quickly to the lighthouse that Adam gave him directions to. The woman is breathing weakly. He didn't know if he have enough time to get there in time. Meanwhile, Sora knock on Spinner's room. He's lay down with casts on him. She push a tray in. He look at her to see that she seem to avoid him.

"How are you feeling?"

"A bit better knowing it's you coming to feed me and not the doc." He joke.

Sora didn't say anything. She didn't laugh or smile at his joke. He can see that her eyes look dead. She fed him soup but she didn't say anything to him or look at him.

"I don't blame you if that's what your worried about." He told her. Sora scoop some soup as she blow the steam away. She lift the spoon up to his mouth. She bit her bottom lip as she look at him.

"I know." She said calmly but her voice sound croak.

"I don't blame you, Sora." He look at her.

"I know."

"Sora!" He look at her with a concern look. He reach out his hand to her and tuck her silver pixie hair back to her ear. Sora look at him as if wanting to cry when she look at him. "I don't blame you. Okay."

"I know," her voice start to croak. She wanted to cry but she refuse to.

"I don't, blame you."

"Please stop!"

"No."

"Shuichi, Don't." She said. He look at her in surprise. It was the first time she have used his first name. She sigh at him as if hiding her emotions. "I get it. Okay." Her voice whisper. "Just stop." She gets up and place the soup on the tray.

"Your leaving?" He ask her.

"Williams we'll check on you later." She said. She close the door behind her. Sora heard the knock on the front door.

"Coming!" She told them. But the knock grew louder. "I'm coming!" She said but the knock kept banging and banging. Sora open the door to see a young boy holding a woman on his back and a small child in his arms crying.

"Are you Doctor Williams?" He gasp and yelled. Sora study him, knowing that he's been running. "She needs help! Please!" Leader beg her. Sora finally snap out of it. She lets the boy in. She quickly knocks on the basement door. She notice the light isn't on. She open the door to quickly run downstairs.

"Doctor! Doctor!" Sora yelled out her name.

"Bloody hell! No yelling!" Andrea told her. She almost drop two drops of an experiment she's working on.

"It's an emergency!" Sora told her.

Hime and 16 fought each other. The two glare at each other in rage. Hime look over to see Adam work on Tomura's wound. 16 swing her scythe at her to trap her in. She smile at her wickedly.

"Why are you so distracted, 666?"

"Why do you keep calling me that?" Hime kick her in her chest. 16 grunt as she was push away. She glare at Hime but smile. Her stitches crumble up as she smile.

"What? Don't know your own name?" 16 swing her scythe in circles.

"I know my name! But your calling me a number!"

16 look at her and laugh, "Hahahahahahah! You really don't remember anything, do you?"

She stick her tongue out, Hime widen her eyes to see the lion that's standing on two of his back legs and there's a crown on top of it's head. She can feel the brand on her tail bone burning her. Her diamond quirk was finally lifted. Hime can see images flashing through her head. Nightmares that haunt her. She start to breathe heavily and fast. Her panic start to come attack her.

"Where did you get that?"

"Aw? What's wrong Six? Are you starting to remember something?"

"Where. Did. You. Get. That?" Hime's growl sound loud and vicious.

"Wouldn't you like to know?"

"Who are you?" Hime look at her.

"BATS!" Leader yelled at her

"ASH, GET AWAY!" Hime yelled at him.  But the look on his face show horror.

"BATS! BAAAATS LOOK OUT," He yelled at her.

Bullocks! I was too distracted! Hime turn to 16.

Blood! A burning sensation rush through her body. She have seen blood before but never this much. Her body felt heavy and hot. A hot sensation that just burn her across from the wound on her. Blood just spill all over the air. She drop to the ground. She try to move but it felt heavy. The burning sensation soon got cold and wet.  The ringing buzz in her ear. It felt loud but yet quiet all the same time.

'Tomura.... Ash... Run! Please, run.' she thought of them. She worry about them. Worried that 16 would hurt them the way she hurt him.  16 look over at her with a wicked shiver smile.

"Hehehehe, look at you. Your so pathetic." She press the rob on her wound. Hime grind her teeth together from yelling out the pain. But she couldn't hold it in anymore. The rod press down to her flesh. She can feel it digging down to her wound, opening it more.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"Aaah, sweet music to my ears." 16 smile. She kneel over to her to see her dead golden eyes. She look in pain. She wanted to close her eyes at least for a bit.

"I love this side of you. Your so cute when your on your death bed." She laugh.

Tomura body felt heavy.

He couldn't move. He couldn't speak.

Everything around him felt almost out of place. As if someone had thrown his body into the ocean, cold and bleak, and sinking heavily the more he tried to move.

'What's...going on..? Why does...my body feels so heavy...like a weight of a thousand pounds of doubt..and pain is pressing down on me...pressuring me to sink further into the dark waters....'

'...'

'Did Hime...get away...safely....?'

Tomura eyelids felt heavy as he tries to crack them open but every-time he tried, the would fall back close immediately. Even after the third try, it felt almost utterly useless to even try to see as he only see nothing but the darkness around him but he couldn't keep the close.

Not yet.

'Okay then...fourth time the..the charm...'

He thought weakly as he soon open his eyes, slowly as his vision blurred but he can see the dance lights from what looked to be a shackled street, most parts of it destroyed almost as he couldn't much but the ringing in his ear.

Was this...? Oh no...

It suddenly dawn on Tomura as he tasted the bittersweet, copper in his mouth as he realized—it was blood. It suddenly came rushing back to him; 16...the attack...the people running...Hime.

Shit.

This was bad as he immediately saw two shadows moving at the corner of his eye, 'The hell..is that....is that..Hime...?..wait..why didn't she run away...wha-what is she doing....'

Tomura soon felt his eyes slowed grow wide as he realized that Hime was trying to fight off 16 as she came ruthlessly at Hime, bring down her scythe at her repeatedly and relentlessly as Tomura watches to his horror that 16 wasn't going to let up anytime soon.

'Fuck! I..I got to get up and get Hime out of here! Ungh!...'

Tomura tries to push himself up but felt a terrible, stinging pain shot up his chest as he remembered that 16 had slashed him soon before, the feeling of the rushing hot liquid burning his chest as he bleed out on the ground. Now it was sticky underneath him and the pain was still there.

'Damnit!..I have to move..! Got to..get to Hime!...'

Tomura was trying to move slowly as he tried to silently crawl despite his chest burning with anguish as he soon heard someone's voice called out to her.

"BATS!" That voice sounded familiar but he didn't stop to remember who as he's tried to move, 'Hime...move..!'

"ASH, GET AWAY!" Hime yelled at the person who called her as he saw something move in the shadow of his eye. 'No-no! Hime move damnit?!'

"BATS! BAAAATS LOOK OUT!!!"

And it happened. The blood. Her scream.

Everything had happened so quickly and Tomura felt his eyes widen as he watched to his horror to see Hime falling back, blood spilling out of her almost like a garden sprinkler, everything moving in slow motion as he watches her fall.

He wanted to scream. He wanted to yell her name but his voice wouldn't come out. It felt like he was paralyzed but he felt nothing but his blood run cold and rage in build quickly as he saw 16 walk over to Hime and press the rod into wound she created. The very rod she hurted them both with as Tomura gritted his teeth together as he slowly pushes himself up.

'Get up Damn!..come on! Get up!'

He forcefully yet slowly pushes himself up despite the pain shooting through him painfully and the fact the can't see them from  the distance from them, Tomura felt nothing but pure anger now as he knew that 16 definitely has to go! 16 kept tormenting Hime as she press the rod deeper in her wound.

"Aaaaaaaaah!" Hime try to pull the rob out. The little amount of strength that she have left is very weak.

"Heheheh, that's right, Six." 16 Smile at her widely, showing off her sharp teeth, "Scream, Hehahahahah, Scream! SCREAM LIKE. I SCREAM! BURN THEWAY YOU BURN ME!" She yelled happily. Her scythe start to burn heat up. The heat burn into her flesh as it dig in.

"Aaaaaaaaaaah!"

16 laughs as she see Hime scream in pain. Tomura managed to hold himself up as he look at 16. Adam try to stop him from moving.

"HEY!" He yelled at her. 16 look over at him with a displeasing look.

"Oh, your still alive?" 16 sound irritated.

"Get. The. Hell. Away. From. Her!" He grit through his teeth as he press his wound over with his hand. He try to hold in his pain. He breathe heavily as he look at Hime on the ground. "I'm gonna kill you!" He growl at her. 16 look at him with a wicked grin.

"I like to see you try!"
