I'm not gonna sleep tonight

Walking into the room of the faulty generator I knew instantly that this is going to take a long time.

Where do I start?, That there are cables and tools everywhere is a problem, but what really surprises me is that there is an owl nest inside the generator.

Who knew putting uneducated people here would make everything go to hell?, Socialism classes with Ken River.

Well, it's better to start with the owls.

I took off my mask and put it in one of my pants pockets before starting.

"Give me the attack of titan owl" I said as I approached them.

After a few hours of owl fighting and untangling cables with LOTS of patience, I could see the problem.

Well, in short it is a combination of lack of maintenance and poor maintenance by other people, if the problem were very complicated, It would need an electrical engineer.

But, I guess I can fix this, as long as I do it patiently I can do anything.

And so I spent several hours while I kept putting everything in place and doing maintenance on all parts of the generator.

It was a complicated and tedious task, but by 3:00 AM everything was almost ready.

I am very tired, but I can never sleep leaving something in the middle, it's a gift and a curse.

Half an hour later, I was able to finish the generator completely.

There are several things that could be better, but I'm missing pieces, other than that everything is fine I would say.

I went through each part about 4 times before moving on to the other, so I highly doubt there is a problem.

The thing is that in a few months the problems will be more difficult to solve and I will need a partner to solve them.

But at least for now I can rest.

Leaving the room, I walked around a bit looking for a place to sleep.

But what I found was the sergeant sitting on a box in front of the entrance while she stood guard.

The sergeant noticed me quickly and she seemed a bit surprised.

"What are you doing awake at this hour?" Emma asked.

"I've finished repairing the generator and now I'm looking for a place to sleep" I said in a tired tone.

"Did you work for almost 13 hours without any break?" Emma said in shock.

"I can't sleep without being completely tired and I don't like to leave things by halves either, so this is the result" I said without caring.

"Where are the rest of your soldiers?" I asked curiously.

"3 of them are taking their turn to rest, while the other 2 are guarding the rest of the entrances" Emma said calmly.

"I see, do you have any idea where I can sleep?" I said and then yawned.

"You can take a sleeping bag from where the soldiers sleep, they are two rooms at the back and one to the right in that hallway" Emma said pointing to a hallway to the right of her.

"Thanks sergeant" I said as I went down that hall.

I just hope that the protagonist is not there and they let me rest, but I'm almost sure that it will not be as I want.

And indeed, when I arrived I could see that unmistakable Pantene hair and to make things worse he was with his cattle.

I think I know what this is, it's lemon's fanservice chapter, I better take the bag and leave before ending with trauma.

I took my sleeping bag and went quietly to where the sergeant was.

I always liked being stealthy and scaring people, who would say that it would work for this situation.

When I went back, the sergeant looked at me strangely.

"Why did you come back?" Emma said a little confused.

"Well, there are several reasons, I don't know if I said it before, but I hate Pantene hair and his cattle, and it's quite possible that they have a hectic night right now" I said in a bored tone.

At that the boss made an expression that seemed to be between tired and disgusted.

"Besides, you're the only one that I like, so this is the best place to sleep" I said as I got into the bag and lay down on the floor.

"I'm honored, but you shouldn't trust people so easily" Emma said seriously.

"Make no mistake, I don't trust you, I trust my intuition which is capable of detecting even a psychopath, the only thing I cannot detect are feelings that not even the person knows they have" I said with a little regret from the past.

"You really are someone strange" Emma said in a surprised tone.

"It's the story of my life, now let me sleep or I'll have to erase your quirk" I said in a tired tone as I curled up in a corner like a caterpillar.

"Believe it or not, I understood the reference" said Emma smiling a little.

"And am I supposed to be the weirdo?, An Otaku woman is not seen every day" I said with a smile and then settled down and went to sleep.
