1 Seeds

The creature ran, ran and ran, trying desperately to finish their job. The creature kept running. They dashed across the corridor, speeding into a small room. They locked the door as quick as they could. The creature quickly wrote a note -- the letters were quite shaky -- and used a skin to hold a few seeds. The creature used their sticky saliva to stick the pack of seeds to the paper, quickly throwing it into the wormhole before their sun collapsed.

The portal then closed, the planet being sucked into the dark void.

The portal -- or should I say wormhole -- opened, popping a note and some seeds out onto a blindingly bright table. It made a soft thud, the paper being smushed underneath the seeds. It created a few creases in the now destroyed paper. Afterward, it became quiet. The seeds searched their surroundings, immediately noticing they were on the very edge of a surface. They quickly hopped backward, close to the middle of said surface. The table they were laying on was a pearly white, glistening under the energetic light.

'Paper in way.'

The seeds shifted to a position where the bag slowly ripped the paper. Once the paper was torn to shreds, they continued staring at their surroundings. The smooth walls were the same bright white; who would be so dumb to make the entire room white? Even the ceiling is blinding...

(((((1-3)))))

The seeds stared at their bright surroundings, looking across a place completely white. The bright, smooth walls had no shadows. Was that truly possible? Well, it must be, because the devices on the tables looked like they were floating in midair.

The seeds shifted to look over at a few small shadows. They resembled doors.

One door slowly opened, and the seeds returned to a meditative state. The person who came through stared at the skin-bag, feeling slightly disgusted. She decided to ask her the other compartments about it later.

A little while later, another person came into the room from a different door, turning to look at the bag of seeds. "What is this bag here for, Martha?" he asked, turning toward his colleague.

"I don't know, I just came in here and it was just there. I was planning to ask you about it, but since you don't know anything about them, I'll have to ask the others."

A few days later, they still knew nothing about it. The seeds just kind of sat there. Every night, it would move to a different spot. It confused the people living within the group.

The seeds escaped one day, leaving the compartments confused. After a while, they started to think somebody took the seeds.

-----1-3-----

The slimy bag popped open just as they reached an individual compartment. The seeds all immediately scattered across the room, some seperating in groups and others heading out alone. They bounced, wandering across the carpet. They knew what they had to do, and they had about one minute to do it.

After a few seconds, a few seeds rooted themselves into the carpet. They sucked up a few leftover 'nutrients' from the material and formed a little sprout. It was almost as if it was being tugged by a mysterious force. The early seeds were lucky; they got to collect more dirt than the others, although they all agreed that the ones getting dirt shouldn't take as many nutrients.

They all sucked up a few leftover things; hair, legos and plastic to name a few. They immediately started 'eating' it (more like somehow draining moisture from it).

They started growing. The ones that collected more water grew faster than the others. They produced a strange aroma that flew across the area, spreading across the compartment.

A person walked out of their room, adjusting to how bright it was. Once he stopped rubbing his eyes, he stared at the plants strewn across the room. He paused, rubbing his eyes again. He thought there was breakfast? It smelt like a strange scent of eggs and cookies.

'Wait..... I live alone.'

He looked back at the ground and immediately jumped back.

"WHAT THE-"

/////1-3/////

It seems the seeds just... grew. But how did they grow? It looks different than the normal plant. It is completely green and it had a small stem. They looked kind of like poison ivy, but... different? I can't pinpoint the exact reason.

Ughhh, why am I so tirreeeed? I just want to sleep. Why am I thinking so much right now?

"Plant want water."

"What?"

"Can human comprehend? I spell it out.

P l a n t

Is this voice saying I'm stupid? "Fine, I'll get some water."

I walked over to the kitchen, tripping on thin air along the way. "Don't boil water," the voice advised, "boiled water hot."

"Yeah, no sh-"

"Quiet, human." the voice said. I immediately shut up. Silently grabbing a cup of water, I walked back to the plant-filled room. "If give water, grow possible." Huh? What am I supposed to give the water to?

"Feed plant," the voice said, "and we give gift." Oh, so the voice probably is the plant. But how would that be possible? Is this some type of communication among plants? If so, does that mean I am a plant?

Looking down, I saw, and did not believe, that I was not a plant. "Pour water plant." Oh, I forgot they were there.
