19 TOO WORRIED
After a thorough check-up, it was concluded that Lucas had a mini panic attack as for the cause it was unknown.
Olivia asked the cause but Lucas brush it off saying he didn't know which was somehow true.
Olivia didn't believe as her dear son tends to hide his worry so she just continue to stare at him to oppress him to tell truth.
" I was slightly anxious then suddenly my breathing started to get ragged and I was gasping for air," seeing Olivia didn't believe, Lucas sincerely told the order of his panic attack.
The doctor nodded in understanding.
" Hmm, it should be true, it is completely normal for people to get panic whenever they are too frightened or anxious," Doctor confirmed Lucas's statement.
" Then, Lucas tells us, what are you anxious about and plz tell us the truth ok," Eugene worriedly asked as he pats his head soothingly.
" Dada, true, truth, Luna excitedly urged him.
Lucas sadly smiles.
" I really don't know, since this morning I was restless and feeling anxious, but truly I don't know the reason," Lucas frustratedly spoke.
" It's ok dear, no need to feel afraid, your dad and I are here for you to shield you and Luna from anything, so just relax and enjoy ok," Olivia soothingly expressed her worries.
They exit from the clinic as they were done there.
Eugene walk them where the car was parked except they couldn't find the car.
" Papa, car gone?" Luna confusedly questioned.
" I parked it here .......oh no! I forgot to lock the car, uff, it seems someone stole it," Eugene was frustrated and annoyed.
Law is very powerful in this world so it was surprising that the car was stolen but since it was a new model SUV, it may have tempted many people's hearts.
" It's ok, we would soon find out who stole it," Olivia rolled her eye when she saw Eugene distressed.
Every case has a unique code installed in it, it was easy to find it.
Just when Eugene was about to call home to send the car, his phone rang.
" Dad," Eugene's brows wrinkled in confusion.
They has just left for home so it was surprising to see Marcus call him soon.
Eugene picks up the call only to be drowned by a bunch of questions.
" Dad, take a deep breath then tell me what happened," Eugene annoyingly directed Marcus.
" Why is Olivia not picking our call and where are you?" Reena snatches the phone from her husband succeedingLY she fires the question at her son.
Eugene doesn't know why his parents are in panic but he sincerely replied to their question so they could relax.
" Relax ok, it seems Olivia forgot the phone in the car as per our location we are at some clinic," Eugene smoothly answered all their answers to soothe their worry but what he didn't know was his explanation only did the opposite.
He knew Olivia left the phone in the passenger seat while she move to the back seat.
" Oh no, no no, it seems true, oh god what did I do wrong to happen this," Reena murmured continuously.
Eugene could hear his mother murmuring but he couldn't understand her properly.
Olivia, Lucas, Luna looked at Eugene in confusion.
" haaa, Mom, plz pass the phone to dad," Reena dazedly pass the phone to Marcus as she slumped on the couch with worry, fear laced in her face.
After Marcus took the phone, he had a long talk with his son.
When Marcus learn that they were ok, he finally release the breathe he was holding because of worry.
" Dad, why are two so tensed and worried," finally Eugene asked as he comforted his parents.
"It's because your car had an accident and we thought you all were inside the car, thank god you are all safe," Marcus also informed what happen.
After a few more exchanges and a promise to visit them at home, they finally hung up the phone.
Then Marcus told everything to Reena, afterwards she hurriedly inform her daughter to soothe her worry.
Reena knew no matter how much Maria throw tantrums she would always love her family.
But only time will tell Reena just how wrong she was.
" What happened, why were mom and dad so worried?" Olivia questioned.
She could hear the worry laced voice of her in-laws but she couldn't properly understand.
" It seems, those people who stole our car had an accident so Mom and dad were worried that we had had an accident," Eugene properly explained but everyone here knew, that accident was really designed for them.
If not for Lucas having that mini panic accident and if not for Eugene forgetting to lock the door in hurry, resulting in their car being stolen, they would be the ones in the car and had that accident.
If not for being so many IFs there, it would have been difficult to remain alive right now. They should really be thankful for having such luck.
Eugene then calls his people to block every information about this event and not mention the number involve in the accident as well as to provide him with every detail of this event then he hauls the taxi to prevent others from knowing his and his families whereas about.
In another place, Maria was happy that her brother and his family finally died.
But to her dismay, all her happiness changes into dissatisfaction and anger when she had got the phone from her mom informing her about her brother's well being.
Maria couldn't hold her anger, she smashes every decorative item in her room.
" How could he be so lucky, argh" Maria cried in frustration.
Timothy was also dissatisfied with the outcome but he couldn't lose his temper and had to fix this mess. He had to protect his family.
" Dear, this isn't the time to be angry, we have to delete all the shreds of evidence involving us in this mess," Timothy, hushed Maria down.
Maria finally realise they could be in danger if her brother found anything about them so they hurriedly clean all the pieces of evidence.
" We can't do anything impulsively and remain low for a few years to let this storm be silent," Maria stated.
They couldn't be so impulsive and thought about every consequence of their action.
Where Maria and Timothy were happy to clear the mess but what they didn't know was that Marcus already knew they were behind all this.
When Marcus heard the news about how Eugene's car had an accident, he immediately asked his people to deliver all the details and when he finally got the report of this matter, he was furious.
It seems that he had spoiled his daughter too much nonetheless he didn't have the heart to send her to jail so he didn't say anything to his son for now even destroying some of the evidence pointing towards Maria.
However, that doesn't mean he will let her off.
Maria and Timothy didn't notice this as they were in hurry to destroy the evidence.
Maria would surely get her punishment.
Eugene and Olivia finally arrived home with their children.
Marcus and Reena were already present when they arrived.
Marcus and Eugene went to the study to discuss further detail leaving Olivia and Reena in the living room.
Olivia put Luna who was in deep slumber in the crib by the living room.
As for Lucas, he hurriedly went to the room to coax and comfort the person who was texting him continuously.
