Rachel had never felt so awkward in her entire life. She had been following her parents around, who introduced her to several business partners, friends, and acquaintances. She didn't want to talk about the disgusting looks she had been getting from some young men there and even older married men! 

The only person she was happy to greet was Noah's mother, who was heading in their direction.

"Oh my goodness! Is this you?" Christine Vicker asked while taking Rachel's hand to twirl her around slowly. Rachel laughed while blushing in embarrassment. She was never going to get used to this reaction. 

"Well, it is me, Auntie. Good to see you. You look stunning yourself." 

"You look so pretty! I feel like shedding tears."

"Don't be dramatic, auntie. You are beginning to sound like my mother." Rachel said, making the two women laugh.
