CH4: House on the Hill

I headed over to where they were standing, The girl looked at me with a weird look in her eyes. "Were you talking to me?", I said. "Yes", the boy replied. "We wanted to ask you a few questions."I'm a bit worried, but I agreed. "So where are you from?" said the boy. "Oh", I replied. I just moved here from the City, now my mom and I are living in a house on a hill at the end of the road on Park ave. Before I could finish, I was interrupted with a loud "Wait!, ``You live at hill house, "said the girl. "Hill House, What's Hill house," I said with a confused look on my face. "Hill House is an old haunted house on the hill denounced by everyone." said the girl. I just thought that it was just a  conservative house. "Is it ok if we come over after school?", said the boy "Well, we are still making the transition to our house so it will be a bit chaotic, but if you're ok with that, I don't mind." We don't mind, said the boy with a big smile. I couldn't sustain the conversation so I left and headed to class. I concede it was kinda weird when he said the house was haunted, kinda scary actually. After school, I called mom and told her about the boy and the girl, and started to walk home. I started to wonder about hill house. I wonder if they have any files at the library disclosed to the public. I look forward to tomorrow, but I'm not going to count on it so I won't get deterred. After I got home, I came in to see mom getting rid of a lot of stuff. "Hey Riley, you just got home?" said mom. "I'm getting rid of all the paintings left from the previous owner that is too superficial for my taste and we don't need them." Hey mom, did you hear anything about the house being haunted?" "Well, that would be contrary to the contract on the house I specifically asked for no haunted houses, "said mom with a grin on her face. Well, I guess she's right, that would be silly. I look around the house. "I hope the construction company fixes the house well. They don't have a scapegoat if one of us gets hurt," said mom.
