When we were younger

Back in 1902 a small family were on a walk. They lived high up on a hill with boulders in mid-roll frozen in place. A small water stream lead around the small barn conversion house. The river was fresh and clean, it was big enough for the family to play in. One of the eldest children lived to jump if the water marking a huge splash in the dearest part. By the time the family moved into the home in 1887 the stream had changed into a river, but it is still known as Adam's Stream as of the previous owner.

The family enjoyed living above everything, seeing everything and being away from the small streets and stalls. Even though there was nothing that children of the streets would enjoy up there, there was the odd thing or to two that no one ever knew of.

You could climb hundreds of mountains that reached the clouds taking what was like endless hours to conquer. Magnificent waterfalls rushed down the rocks splashing over the edges.

There was trees that were bigger than house and perfect to climb with the best climbing paths.

The family that lived there moved into the house in 1887 when the two parents 23 and heavily pregnant with the first child. They knew it was a boy and they were going to call him David Brown Simons and they were just moving into this small cottage. After 1 week of being in the home, a beautiful baby boy was brought in the world and named as planned.

When the parents turned 25 they had two baby girls named Honey and Polly and were very beautiful with strands of blonde hair and gorgeous blue eyes that were as blue as diamonds in a glittering lake with the sun shining on it. One of the girls, Polly, was put under watch 24/7 and wasn't aloud out sight of a doctor for 1 month. After her time with the doctors she was sent home and was perfect and healthy.

As Mr and Mrs Simons turned 27 they were told to have 3 children but sadly the the third child had sadly died 25 minutes after birth after being born with 2 arm and a hole in her heart. They were shocked at how long she lived for. There was 2 girls and 1 boy, but after the death there was only 1 girl. The third child was going to be called Mary, worth her other siblings Martha and Martian. The two other siblings, Mary and Martian, had their middles names changed to be after their dead sister who they appreciate and look up to.

At 28 years old, the parents were told they were having another child. After the birth they were told it was a baby girl, the immediately called it Mary Jane after her older sister and the Nurse who delivered her and her other siblings.

The family was finally finished, but in 1893 the got a pet dog for the children to love who the love and named Corn as he was from a house the supplied corn seeds for the family for over 50 years.

With the family complete they needed a bigger home, so the family extended the small cottage to accommodate the large family, each 2 children sharing a room. Even though the family were not rich, they made do with what they could to supply the best for their kids.

Surprisingly, in 1895 the mother found out she was having another child, it was the best feeling but she decided to work through her pregnancy to afford more room in her house.

Early 1896, twin boys were brought into their world, named John and Joe. They had dark green eyes similar to their farthest eyes mixed with his nana's eyes. Mrs Simons didn't want any more kids so she could spend time with each of them.

In 1896 the family had gone out on a day trip showing their kids how they should live in a world or beautiful scenery. When the eldest son, David, was old enough to swim, he immediately was in Adam's stream swimming in the some of the deepest parts of it. And soon his footsteps were followed by his younger siblings who soon learnt to swim.

Every day each child had a walking goal depending on their age and physical abilities. Children under the age of 3 do not have to have a goal but if they can walk a bit, then they can have a small goal. The family was very happy and lived the best of life, and lived a better life than anyone with money.
