House of Lovers

"Wait, I'm going to be the only male in the house?! What's the worst that could happen?" The House of Lovers is a story about the protagonist who transfers to his new university in Japan and he is set to move into a share house with seven other women. Each women has their own separate personality and will make the protagonist's life fairly interesting. Some of the women aren't really fond with him while the others seem to welcome him with open arms. "Hopefully, I won't get viewed as a pervert around here...that's the last thing I need..." In this new life of adventure and women, the moment he opens the door...is the moment his love life takes a turn. This book has no magic whatsoever, and it has multiple stories and I'll even add a secret story at the end. Once all stories are written, you don't have to read them in any specific order. I hope you enjoy!

The Date

As the school days go by, Aki and I have been planning our first date together. We were pretty excited to go on our date together. This seemed to be a breath of fresh air for Aki since her and Raidon never really went out on dates from what she told me.

That Saturday came and I was ready for the date. I hurried on downstairs and noticed the only ones in the house was Orime and Suki. They don't really go out much as they would usually stay on the game. I don't blame them, do people realize how many good games are Japan Exclusive? Yeah I've got to get my hands on one of those systems so I can enjoy gaming sessions.

I said my goodbyes to them and literally only Orime answered back. Suki was still on edge but she didn't give me as much attitude as she used to. I guess it was her being a tsundere or something. I honestly couldn't tell you. I put on my shoes and hurried off to the train station. Aki seemed to already have left, so it was me who had to catch up with her. I got on the train and rode all the way to the amusement park. Once the train had came to a stop and the doors opened, I got off the train then headed straight for the amusement park gates.

I checked the time on my watch. "Huh, I mean I'm here on time. I wonder where she is."

I waited a few minutes and looked up to see Aki hurrying off the train.

"Archer!" She waved her hands and jogged to me, smiling.

I watched her and smile at her. "Hey Aki."

Aki looked really cute in her attire. Instead of wearing her hair in her usual two ponytails, she wore it down. She also wore a white t-shirt with a chibi character holding a basketball, a pink sweater, short blue jeans, and high top Adidas.

"You look really cute." I blurted out loud.

Aki blushed and brushed her hair behind her ear. "Th-Thank you..~ You look...great as well."

I chuckled at her remark. "Not good at complimenting huh?"

"No.." She said dejectedly.

I wasn't really wearing much other than my favorite white hoodie, a pair of black jeans and my favorite pair of Jordans. I rubbed Aki's head and smiled. "Don't worry, you'll get back into the groove."

Aki smiled as I rubbed her hair. Even before dating, she always loved it when I showed her this kind of affection. She held my hand then looked at me with a lot of vitality. "Come on!~ Let's get on the rides!~"

I nodded and we headed inside of the amusement parks. The first thing I noticed was there were a lot of happy couples here at the amusement park. There were some family here as well some here for birthdays, others here because they want to be here.

"Oh Archer let's get on that ride!" Aki pointed.

I looked at the ride and my eyes widened. "That's one of the biggest rides in Japan. It's literally called the Kamikaze..! Who names a ride that..?!"

"Come on, don't be such a wet blanket! It's completely safe!~" Aki said and dragged me with her to the ride.

I had no choice but to go on the ride with Aki. My stomach turned the moment I sat on the seat. I got buckled in and Aki looked at me with a smile. The ride started and the ride was going pretty fast off rip! No warning no anything!!

"Aiiiiii!!" Aki squealed with enjoyment.

"Arrrghhhh!!!" I yelled and nearly threw up from all the sudden loops and turns and the insane drop.

The ride ended and we got off the ride. My legs were shaking and so was Aki's. We literally held onto each other for balance as we had to walk down the stairs.

"Oh that was so much fun!~ You scream like a little girl, Archer~" Aki laughed.

"Come on, that drop was insanity!" I said and finally got my blood rushing back to my numb legs.

"Another one! Come on!~" She said as she dragged me to another ride.

The second ride was a water ride. The coaster was even higher than the Kamikaze one. Who designs these "very human" rides?!

We got on the ride and Aki was filled with excitement. The ride scaled up to the top of the coaster then stopped for a few seconds then sped down the drop.

"Aiiiiii!!!" Aki squealed happily and laughed.

"Whhoaa- Bluggghlubbs!" I groaned then got a face full of water.

Aki laughed at me and a few other behind us were letting out a few laughs as well. The ride ended and we got off the ride.

"Ahh that was fun!~ I feel great!~" Aki giggled.

"It's been so long since I've been to an amusement park, I forgot how it feels.." I groaned softly.

"Come on, chin up!~ Let's go on some more rides!~" Aki said and dragged me with her, holding my hand even tighter now, not wanting to let go anymore.

I looked at Aki and experienced a new side of her that I've always dreamed of seeing. A side of her that has the most fun with the one she enjoys.

We made our rounds with the scream-inducing rides and before we knew, it was already 3:45 PM.

"Hey, Aki. Can we go on a more leisurely attraction next?" I asked. My stomach couldn't take any more wild twists and aggressive turns.

"Sure. We've been going on all the rides I've been wanted to go. What did you have in mind?" Aki smiled at me.

I looked around and one thing caught my eye. "How about the haunted house?"

"E-Ehhh?! Th-The haunted house?!" She asked in terror.

That was an unexpected reaction. I surely wasn't expecting it since we rode on rides that could make a person pass out with no warning. The smile on her face soon disappears and her face begins to look pale.

"Ha...Haunted houses c-can't be that interesting, right? H-How about we go on the Kamikaze again or- Or the uh...the...the Snake Pit?" She said, scared. "Wh-What's so fun about seeing a ghost?!"

Her voice was really trembling. She was afraid of haunted houses, almost terrified.

"Are you afraid of haunted houses? If you are we-"

"Uhn!!" Aki grunted when I asked her the question. She shook her head. "I'm not afraid! I'll show you!"

Aki pulls my hand and drags me to the haunted house. Her face was still red and pale, she also looked like she was on the full verge of tears.

'Is she really okay with this..?' I thought to myself.

Before I knew it, we entered the haunted house. Aki's body was shaking as we walked around. It wasn't normal shaking either. It was almost...like trauma. I had no idea why she tried to tough it out for me. She looked around frantically and squeezed my hand tighter.

"S-See I'm...I am not afraid of some stupi-"

"BOO!" A ghost popped out of nowhere.

"NO!! AIIII!!" Aki screamed and bumped into me, embracing me.

I looked at Aki with a surprised expression. I've never seen her so scared before. We've watched horror movies together in her room before but this is a reaction that only stems from trauma.

"Heh...heh...Do you think I'm pretty..?" A woman dressed as Kuchisaki-onna asked.

"Get away! Get away!" Aki screamed and tears began to form in her eyes.

A creepy laugh was heard in the distance. Aki was getting more afraid by the second. She was nearly hyperventilating. I tried to find a way out but the people were surrounding us. I noticed a man dressed up as a killer clown walking towards us. Aki slowly opened her eyes and looked around her and froze. She was petrified. Her gazed was fixated on the killer clown who dragged a fake head along the floor by the hair.

"I can smell your fear...You are still afraid...aren't you...Aki.." The clown laughed and turned his head.

Aki was unable to speak. She was as still as a statue. Her body was cold now. I was even shocked by how this clown knew Aki's name. The clown laughed and ran towards us. I grabbed Aki's hand and ran off. Aki ran behind me and was still scared out of her mind.

'What the fuck were you thinking Archer?! I don't know! I was thinking that this would be a lame fucking haunted house! They are going all out with Japanese Legends and clowns?!' I thought to myself.

Before I knew it, I was lost. This wasn't a normal haunted house. This was a maze! I heard more terrified screams and looked around, seeing couples running away in fear. I looked down the path they ran from and noticed a head rolling towards us.

"You can't get away from me!" The clown laughed and ran towards us.

Aki began breathing heavily. She wanted to run, but her fear gets the best of her each time.

"Aki! On my back!" I yelled. Aki looked at me and hurriedly climbed on my back. She held onto me tightly and didn't want to let go at all.

I ran away from the clown and he laughed maniacally. I kept running and noticed some light. I was getting excited and ran towards the light and the atmosphere was cold. I looked behind me and the clown was nowhere to be seen.

"What kind of haunted house is this..?" I asked myself.

"A..Archer.." Aki finally spoke.

I looked back at Aki then noticed she was pointing at something. It was a woman who's back was facing the wall. I looked ahead and noticed the woman.

"Play with me...PLAY WITH ME!" The woman laughed and turned her head 180 degrees to look at us.

Both me and Aki screamed and ran off as the woman began chasing us. We ended up running into circles until I found the path to the exit. I stopped in my tracks when I noticed the clown in front of us.

He chuckled and had his back turned away from us. "Let's play one last game...Aki..."

The doors to the exit closed by itself. I looked around and noticed more of the scary entities surrounding us.

"It's called Hide and Seek...you have ten seconds to hide...and we seek you. If you're caught...well let's just say you don't want to be caught.." The clown laughed.

One by one the scary entities surrounding us disappeared.

"Ten...nine...eight...seven...six...five...four. Three. Two..." The lights shut off, leaving us in complete darkness. "One.."

The lights turned back on and the clown stood in front of our faces. I froze as I looked the clown in the eyes. His smile was wide. His eyes were bloodshot. He wasn't looking at me, however. He stared right at Aki. I could feel it...Aki was pissing her panties out of fear. I had figured it out...this clown is what caused Aki's trauma for haunted houses.

"If you don't remember me...My name is Nightmare the Clown. Last time you were here was when you were a little girl!~ It was nice to see you again...Aki." The clown said then walked away.

The doors opened and we were terrified beyond belief. Japan allows haunted houses like these. They were way scarier than American haunted houses. This clown knew Aki and I didn't want to ask how. I just wanted to get out of there while I still could. I ran ahead, still carrying Aki and we escaped the haunted house. At the end, a worker gave us a sticker saying, "I survived" on the sticker.

"This haunted house named the Maze of Trauma is only available in October because it's literally the scariest haunted house in the world. Every entity in the house has a connection to someone. You met Nightmare the Clown haven't you?" The woman asked.

We were too stunned to answer and I could feel Aki's pants were wet. We made an agreement to finish our date at home. The Maze of Trauma...noted for next time we come here...we will avoid this attraction at all costs. The attraction left us speechless and honestly I wanted nothing to do with it anymore. All I had on my mind was calming Aki down and getting home.
