Chapter 036

"Dude that was amazing!"

Naruto jumped on Hirano's back to wrap his arm around him and gave them some playful slaps that made the stocky boy laugh.

Everyone had left the crowd that wanted to cross the bridge, and because of all the noise they were making, it would only be a matter of time before they ended up attracting more infected people. It would be best to keep your distance from the large crowds.

"Where shall we go now?" Yuuki questioned looking at Saya who was staring at the map, thinking about which way to go.

"The main bridges are blocked by the army, and from what I heard they no longer let anyone else pass, so we have to go around this river, maybe go through the old Yutaro bridge"

"Sounds good," Seako raised an eyebrow when his apprentice stopped suddenly, and looked in the same direction as him, making a path as he heard grunts and footsteps, "They're here."

"All behind Kohta, Senpai and me!" Naruto shouted, drawing his twin swords as he saw the infected running at full speed towards them.

"Naruto!" Drawing her own sword, the captain of the Kendo club led the attack by running and felling the first zombie with a hard blow that broke its skull, going on a rampage to take down another, breaking its ankles.

Taking advantage of the fact that she was leaning, Naruto ran to jump and use her as a springboard to pass over the first line of infected, using both swords he began to strike left and right.

Even if these infected seemed slower and clumsier than the ones he had to deal with at school, that didn't make it any easier to take them down due to how many they were.

And another problem.

"Uh oh" Naruto almost broke his wooden sword when it hit a hoof.

There were infected, some of them were equipped with militia protective equipment, which gave them full body protection, where he saw scratches and blood staining the suit, the most noticeable being those on their necks.

The only place they had access to was his neck.

And right where the bites were.

"Change of plans! Back off!" Seako gave a hard kick to the knee of one of the armored infected, achieving a break, it was still not enough to stop him, he got back up to try to attack her.

"How the fuck do I take him down?!" Naruto tried to knock him down to remove his helmet, but had to back away from a female Runner who almost ripped his hand off.

Frustrated, he gave an upward blow that broke his jaw, and before he could jump, he jumped on him to break his head.

In his carelessness, he was knocked down by one of the armored zombies. Taking advantage of the fact that he was on top of him, he put his hands around his neck to pull the leash loose.

"Seako!" Shouting the swordswoman's name she removed the infected's helmet.

Immediately this opportunity was taken by her, who almost tore off the top of the armored zombie's head, which was kicked sideways.

Taking his senpai's hand, Naruto stood up and gulped at the sight of all the infected that still remained.

"Shit..." Seeing that the infected would overwhelm the group's fighters in numbers, Yuuki had to go to a car and using a rock he broke the window glass, "Cover me! I have an idea!" he shouted from under the steering wheel.

"Cover you-e?!" Shizuka shrieked embarrassedly, taking a step back when she saw one of the infected running towards her, "I don't know how to fight!"

"Then learn to do it!" Yuuki abruptly took out some tools from the back seat and threw them at the feet of the other girls.

"But-o!" The curvy blonde grabbed a wrench and threw it at the infected, who barely moved, "It doesn't work!"

"This Yes!" Kyoko had to jump to the nurse's defense, taking an

"I guess we have no choice" Taking courage, Saya had to take a crowbar and use it against one of the infected who wanted to attack Yuuki, who pulled out the cables from under the steering wheel, "I hope whatever you do you do it quickly!"

With all her strength the girl hit the zombie's head, although it bled, it took another hit to end up falling.

Kohta had to be support for the girls by taking headshots against the infected who seemed faster and stronger, leaving the weaker ones to be taken down by Kyoko and Saya, who were already feeling fatigued after just a few hits.

"No... not now" the boy gulped in panic when he ran out of ammunition, with no option he had to run to grab a fire extinguisher from the car, while Yuuki continued trying to start the car.

"Maybe-z it was a bad idea to leave the bus"

"It's not time Shizuka!" shouted the redhead teacher who had to take one of her heels off and stick it in the eye of one of those things that had Saya against another car.

From a distance Naruto saw the difficulties the girls were having against a few infected, and as much as he wanted to run to help them, he had his own problems.

He and Seako stood back to back with their swords raised, knocking down and finishing off the armored zombies, who began to surround them in a circle.

Before they could be attacked by the horde, they heard the screeching of tires.

Yuuki abruptly put it in first gear and floored it to run over the infected near the girls, crushing them against another car. He put it in reverse to press the pedal to the floor again.
