POV (Nick)

Saeko: That was really rude...

Rika: I agree with you Saeko-chan.

Saya: That wasn't a normal explosion... it was too rapid and destructive for any normal explosion.

Nick: We can discuss that on our way back... that was a huge and bright explosion similar to beacon... I don't want anyone to find us here at the center of this huge hole.

All three of them nodded, I had noticed that Rika noticed that I saw her naked but she didn't react... this is the difference between a mature woman and a teenage girls I guess. Well she saw me too... who cares. We immediately left the crater and I took out an APC. We entered the vehicle and drove away.

We returned to the base and found several truck were there along with survivors. Tadashi and Kiriko were there too meaning it must be the police group. I don't know why they suddenly decided to join our group. Last time I heard he was pretty adamant that he won't join our base because we are handing guns to untrained men.

Nick: Mother, why are they here? Did he come to visit his daughter?

I don't mind Kiriko but honestly I don't like Tadashi, well he is stupid after all. I found Yuriko, who was speaking along her secretaries regarding some matter.

Yuriko: No... he finally relented and decided to join our no-law following base...

Nick: Oh... well that is good.

Yuriko: Care to tell what was that bright light?

Nick: We triggered some self-destruct mechanism and blew up the base...

Yuriko's face became blank, well she must be shocked. Though she is overreacting... then she looked at me with a face which I can't make anything of. I have to say women have a lots of expressions... such joy. Finally she rubbed her temples and sighed.

Yuriko: ...I am not going comment anything on that...

Nick: Why don't you call the leaders... we have some stuff to discuss.

Yuriko: Ok...

Yuriko sent her secretaries to call Soichiro and Shion. Both me and Yuriko decided to head towards the meeting room. Since Saeko-chan is the diligent bloodthirsty housewife she decided to followed me. This time Rika also decided to follow me. Well I don't mind since she is my wife too... well not now at least but it is work under progress.

We entered the room and after sometime Soichiro and Shion also joined the room followed by Tadashi. Well why the fuck is he here? I looked towards Yuriko and she was confused too. I then turned my gaze towards Soichiro who just shook his head and then I turned towards Shion who did the same. Well... I give up, fuck everything.

Nick: Why is he here?

I didn't ask him since I don't care about him. He is honestly a annoying man with the capability to even irritate me at such a level that I also want to take my own life.

Soichiro: Don't ask me... ask Shion-san.

Nick: Well Shion-chan why is he here?

Tadashi: You can ask me too you know... no need to ignore me...

Shion: He was my boss... so I can't just ignore his request.

This time I turn towards Tadashi, what is his fucking request? Saeko glared at Shion who cowered a little bit. Shion knows Saeko is dangerous and she is one who stays by my side the most. Well I am slightly irritated at Shion... she knows how irritating this man is and one of the man who isn't on my list of most likeable person. I gestured Saeko to let it go...

Nick: Well then can you tell me what is your request?

Tadashi: I want to be present at your meetings too... there isn't something which is needed to hidden, right?

Fuck him... bastard. Speaking like a fucking reporter.

Nick: I don't know did someone in this base accepted this request when you decided to join the base?

Tadashi: No... that is not the point. I don't like things hidden, everyones safety might be on risk. I know this is related to the bright flash...

Nick: Well first of... I don't care any of that. I was protecting the base even before you came here... so even without your intrusion we will do fine.

Tadashi: Listen kid... I don't care if you have powers or not but I have rights to know what is happening and the people also have that right.

Nick: Fuck... that's it. The meeting ends here... I had a busy day today.

Tadashi: Wait you can't do that... I want to know along with everyone in this base.

Nick: Are you a fucking reporter or police chief... Shion, if he tries to make a group then throw him on the front lines... I am leaving...

Shion: ...I can't...

I just stopped in my tracks, I was already on my way out. Good... everyone in the room states at Shion. Saeko-chan, don't pull out your sword. This is a yandre nature... I see like I have to coax Saeko. Saeko really cares about me. Shion looks adamant to support Tadashi... what can I do... I love her but I can't listen to Tadashi's unreasonable request.

I am not going to say that I am doing this for greater good but if I share what I learnt today to everyone then it will cause unreasonable chaos. They will only panic unable to do a fuck about it. This is the reason I hate people like him.

Nick: ...Do whatever you like...

I don't care if she doesn't like it, Shion knows that I don't like him and he is making an unreasonable request. It might sound like I am heartless but she needs to know what is acceptable or not. I love her, I lover her very much but this and that are different. If she supports someone who just wants to cause chaos in the base then I can't listen to her regardless she is my lover or not.

Shion looked a bit down casted but I left the room, Saeko and Rika followed me. I could feel bloodlust coming from Saeko.

Nick: Saeko-chan... calm down.

Saeko: Danna-sama... how dare she? She also knows how unreasonable that is and she decided not to do anything even after he would make a rebel group.

Nick: Saeko-chan... she has her reasons... I love her and I will still love her. If she wants to support her previous boss then let her. I won't stop her but if he does something crazy then I will trow him out of the base.

Saeko: But what if she still supports him?

Nick: I can just hope that she doesn't do that... I don't know what I would do then...

Rika: Just try to talk to her... she will understand.

I didn't say anything and just headed towards my room. I shouldn't have reacted like that... this stress is getting me. I need to smoke and drink to relax.

I entered my room and sat on my chair which was facing towards the balcony. Saya looked at me and immediately understood that something is wrong. Rika also in the room, Saya already knew that Rika was an immortal. I lit up a cigarette and took out a beer and started to chug it down. After sometime I heard a knock on the door. Rika opened the door and saw Shion was there.

Nick: Shion-chan, if you think I angry at you or hate you then you are wrong... I still love you. I am just slightly disappointed at you that even if he causes revolt you won't do anything.

Shion: I know that... I owe him that is why I have to at least support him once.

Nick: Hey... why are you standing there.

I got up from the chair and pulled Shion towards me and kissed her passionately. She also kissed back, I looked towards Saeko who was smiling now. Woah... is she bipolar. Well I will think that later... for now I am gonna enjoy this moment.
