Interesting Humans...
One month has already passed since Nick joined this school and it has already started to get boring for him. Only two persons were able to interest him throughout the whole school. Saeko Busujima was the first person, within this month he tried all the clubs but they were all boring for him... too boring. Only Saeko could interest him, Nick found that she had the heart of a warrior and enjoyed fighting. He was interested in her and was waiting for the World to turn shit, then he could show her what he truly was so it would be more believable. Nick knew that she might be the only person who would accept him as he was. She already knew about his bad habits of smoking and drinking but she didn't mind much.
The second person was Shizuka Marikawa, the airhead school nurse who would always nag him to quit smoking. He met her the first week he started school but he became close to her for the last two weeks.
~FLASHBACK~
Nick was walking towards his apartment after his sparring session with Saeko, he was walking by an alley puffing a smoke. He heard some muffled voices from the alley and decided to look in. He walked inside and found a blonde woman huge humongous bust has been cornered by some goons. He remembered the busty woman as the airhead school nurse. "What do you think you are doing?" Nick spoke up gaining the attention from the goons. "Look what do we have here? A hero" a goon said, hearing him another one spoke up "Looks like this kid wants to prove himself, look at how he is smoking." The goons started to laugh but everything became silent the next moment.
Nick reached one of the goons and broke his leg and then did the same with the others. He might not care about humans but he always hated when someone forced a woman. He knew he was not a hero but he knew how to respect women. He walked up to the nurse "Are you alright? Let's leave these trash here" the nurse nodded. "You are the new transfer student from our school right~??" the nurse said in a flow. Nick nodded and lit up a new cigarette "Yes my name is Nickolas Morningstar, you can call me Nick." The nurse spoke up "You know smoking is not good for your health~" Nick didn't answer "My name is Shizuka Marikawa, and I am your school nurse~, thank you for helping me." Nick nodded "Nice to meet you Marikawa-san, but don't you use a car?" Shizuka pouted "You can call me Shizuka-san outside the school, Nick-chan~, and I do have a car. I came here to buy groceries when these guys forced me here~" Nick didn't mind being called Nick-chan. He nodded in understanding. Nick liked how she spoke in a certain tone.
"Let me walk you to your car" Shizuka again pouted when she saw Nick make a puff of smoke "You should quit smoking~, I am going to make you quit~. Nick chuckled hearing that "Try your best Shizuka-san" after that Nick walked her to her car and she kissed his cheek before entering her car and driving away. "This is interesting..." after saying that Nick also walked away.
~FLASHBACK END~
Nick was laying on his bed puffing a smoke when he heard knocking on his door. He walked opened the door and was met with the purple-head. She entered the room and found the room was completely clean except for the smoke of his cigarette. She walked up to the window and opened it. "You should quit smoking" Nick was about to answer her but his phone started to ring, he picked up the phone and saw it was his mom "Hello, how are you mom?" his mom answered from the other side "I am nice, how is life there?" Nick opened his fridge and then his drawer and saw that his liquor stock was empty. "Everything is good... except my alcohol stock went dry" he heard his mother laugh from the other side "Take care son" after saying that she cut the call.
Saeko was glaring at Nick "How your mother allows you to smoke and drink is beyond my understanding" Nick took out a beer and handed it to Saeko "Why don't you give it a try?" Saeko took the bottle and sipped lightly "How do you even like this? It was so bitter" Nick took the bottle from her hand and chugged it down completely. Nick noticed a small blush appeared on Saeko's face. After that Nick went to the bathroom while Saeko sat down and started to check his phone. Saeko had a phone but it was old not like Nick's. She watched videos on his phone on Youtube. One day Nick saw her staring at his phone so he gave her his phone and told her how to use it. At first, she was embarrassed but Nick told her that she was his friend and she can use his phone.
Within only one month they have become quite close to each other because of their sparring. Warriors could understand each other when they fought with each other and Saeko found out quite quickly how Nick was. She also knew that Nick was hiding something huge from her but she never spoke about it because she knew that when the time comes she would be the first person to know about that.
Nick came out and both of them left the room, Nick lit up another cigarette while walking beside Saeko "Saeko-chan, why don't you come to roof today during lunch?" Saeko nodded "Ok, I will come, but we are going to spar after school" Nick nodded. Both of them reached school and went to their class and sat down. The lunch break came and Nick went to the roof, students usually don't go there so it was a nice place for him to smoke. He reached the roof and sat down at lit up a cigarette. He heard the door opening and thought it was Saeko.
But it wasn't Saeko, it was the school genius from 2nd year Saya Takagi, she looked at Nick and didn't know what to say, after a few minutes only one thing came to her mind "You shouldn't smoke and more so inside the school" Nick didn't bother answering "This is my usual spot, I have never seen anyone come here in one 1 month" Saya just huffed and turned away "Do you know what will happen if I complain this to the authority?" Nick nodded. "I know, but there isn't a reason for you to do that" Saya was about to say something when Saeko walked in and looked at both of them. "Nick-kun, like someone else also saw you smoking" Nick grunted "Like I care" Saeko looked at the girl and saw her holding her lunch. "Why don't you sit with us, he is not a bad guy". Saya didn't know what to say, she knew who Saeko was and she was sure that Saeko would never hang out around a bad guy.
Saeko sat down and took out her and bento, Saya huffed and sat down beside Saek. Nick threw the cigarette away and looked over to the new girl. "Hello my name is Nickolas Morningstar, you can call me Nick" Saya huffed and spoke up "My name is Saya Takagi, I will also return your courtesy and you can call me by my first name" Nick nodded while Saya pulled out her lunch. "Didn't you bring lunch?" Saya asked Nick "Saeko-chan brought mine" Saya looked at Saeko who just blushed slightly. "So are you two a couple?" Saeko blushed again and Nick decided to tease her "Not yet, but I won't mind" Saeko blushed red but didn't refute Nick, Saya was also shocked to hear that. After that, the three of them made several small conversations.
"I never thought that you would be like this Nick-san, I always thought you as a delinquent" Saya said. Nick replied, "You shouldn't judge a book by its cover Saya-san." Nick said that and lit up a cigarette "Still I would found you nicer if you quit smoking" Nick just grunted. "But I would still like to have you as my friend" Saya said which Nick replied, "So Saya-san would you like to go sky diving this weekend?" Saya looked at Nick like he grew a second head "I don't know, I never ever thought of doing that" Saeko spoke up hearing this "It will also be my first time, I would like to have a novice with me". Saya thought for a few moments the spoke up "I have to ask my parents for permission". After that, the bell rang signalling that the break was over and the three of them left the roof and decided to meet again tomorrow.
