What About Me?

After one hour of a smooth journey, Brent finally reached his mother's house.

The servant brought him to the garden where Margaret had been waiting patiently.

"I'm here now, Mother," Brent announced his presence upon entering the gazebo, and lowered himself on the sofa facing his mother.

"I'm glad that you're finally here, son..." Margaret said.

"What's wrong, Mother?" he asked.

Margaret cleared her throat. "Um, it's something about Irene and Aurora..." Margaret begins.

Brent brow's furrowed. "Did you uncover something about Aurora?" he asked.

"Yes!" Margaret replied with a nod of her head.

"What is it?" Brent asked.

"The woman that was staying with me in my house right now is the real Irene! The one that is currently staying at Adoora's place is the impostor!" Margaret declared with a tone of finality in her voice.

"Y-you mean, she was Aurora in Irene's body?" Brent asked, confused for a moment.
