She's Alive!

That morning.

Brent was back at his abode and asked Thomas to wait outside the door. "Do you have anything important to report to me today?" he asked.

Thomas shook his head. "Nothing, sir. I just want to ask if you will eat lunch here in the house or in your office?"

"I'm busy today, I will be out the whole day. If anything important comes up, call me at my office," Brent replied.

"Noted, sir," Thomas said and left the doorway, going back to the ground floor.

Brent went inside the bathroom to take a shower.

He exited his room a few minutes later, already wearing his work clothes for the day, black pants and long sleeve brown polo shirt.

Outside the house, Viktor was waiting patiently for Brent. "Good morning, my lord! Reporting for duty, I will be your bodyguard for today," he said cheerfully.

Brent handed his car keys to Viktor. "You will drive the car for me today," he said.

"My pleasure, my lord," Viktor replied.
