CHAPTER 6: IT'S A SCREAM BABY PT 2

Jack was looking at himself in the mirror as he was getting ready for the party. The sun had just set, and he started to make his way towards the party.

When he pulled up the party was already in full motion. He could hear the music from over a hundred yards away. He pulled through at the front where the gate to get into the front yard was. Since it was just his motorcycle, he parked it right there. Off to the left he saw Dewey's jeep and the news reporter van with Gale and her cameraman just started to pull up.

He hopped off his motorcycle and went over towards Dewey who was standing outside his car looking towards the news station van.

He smirked "Officer Dewey here to protect all the kids while they party off their worries?"

Dewey jumped a bit not expecting someone to talk to him all of a sudden "Jack you shouldn't scare a cop like that."

Jack chuckled "Sorry Dewey. It's not my fault you were spacing out (Jack looked over towards Gale) maybe you should make a move."

Dewey's eyes widened "That obvious?"

Jack turned around and walked away "Very."

He then went up to the front door of the party. He entered seeing about a hundred kids drinking and having fun. He looked around and could see Stu with his head down in his palms an a full bottle next to him. When he entered in Tatum ran up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek while handing him a beer.

Tatum smiled looking up at Jack "I just broke up with him."

She then quietly added "So I'm available now."

Jack smirked "That's good. I can see he is not handling it too well though."

Tatum nodded a little sad as they were still friends "He will be fine. I'm sure he will get over."

They could then hear Stu groan as the door got opened behind Jack hitting up against him. Gale and Dewey came in from behind him. Stu turned an immediately brightened up "No way it's the hot news reporter chick Gale Weathers."

His mood did a complete 180 "Let's go best party of my life."

Jack then turned to see Sidney on the couch get extremely uncomfortable. He didn't want to bother with any of this drama, so he dragged Tatum off to the kitchen.

He then picked her up and put her on the counter off to the side as he kissed her cheek "You remember what you said right?"

Tatum quickly looked around and whispered "Here?"

Jack shook his head "Well aren't you a naughty girl. I meant about us being together now."

Tatum immediately blushed "Oh right of course."

Jack rolled his eyes "I'm asking you out right now you know."

Tatum's eyes widened again "Oh."

She smirked as her eyes started to glaze over a bit "Of course the answer is yes."

He leaned forward and whispered in her ear "Good."

They then went back over to the living room with everyone else. Stu looked over and saw Tatum "Tatum I know we just broke up. But one last thing can you grab me some more beers?"

Tatum looked over to Jack who shrugged "Yeah I'll go grab some right now."

Stu smiled as he yelled up "Let's keep the party going."

This caused a roar of cheers from everyone around. Jack watched as Stu then went out towards the front. He sighed as he looked at Tatum who just entered the garage to grab some beers 'Time for my first kill I suppose.'

Inside Jack's pants was the military grade knife he had. Plus, with all his experience he definitely thought he could easily kill Stu or Billy no problem. Knowing Stu wouldn't have the balls he knew Billy was the one to kill Tatum from the movies.

He thought 'This will definitely make it, so Tatum is loyal only to me.'

Jack walked over to the garage door where he heard the knock on the door and Tatum yelled "Hey shitheads someone open the door."

He waited a couple more moments as he heard the garage open and close in quick succession.

Inside the Garage

Tatum turned around when the garage closed. She immediately saw Ghostface but was unphased "Is that you Randy?"

Billy who was under the Ghostface mask had a wide smirk as he simply shook his head. Tatum rolled her eyes thinking it was Randy being dumb and walked up to him like it was nothing "Lose the outfit if Sidney sees it, she'll flip."

Billy under the Ghostface mask shook his head again. Tatum scoffed "Oh you want to play psycho killer?"

Billy's grin became wider and more feral under the mask as he nodded. Tatum put on a fake sad face "Can I be the helpless victim?"

Billy nodded, still not saying a word. Tatum smirked "Okay let's see."

She then pretended to be scared "Oh no please Mr. Ghostface I want to be in the sequel."

She then tried to get past Billy again towards the door, but he stood in front of her again as he then grabbed her and she dropped all the beers. Billy then pulled the knife out in front of his face and made a huge gash across her arm as she stumbled back. She screamed out.

In the next moment Tatum ran towards the fridge as Billy chased after her. When he was close Tatum opened up the freezer, hitting him in the face causing him to fall on the floor. She ran back over to the garage door as Jack opened it.

Immediately Tatum jumped into his arms "Woah whats wrong?"

Tatum looked up at him "It's the killer! He just tried to kill me!"

She then pointed to the fridge. They both looked and Billy was gone. Her eyes widened "No way he was just right there."

Jack looked at her and then looked at her arm "Don't worry I believe you. Let's go clean up your arm."

Tatum shook her head "Jack we got to tell everyone….. we….."

He put her finger up to her mouth "Do you trust me?"

Tatum looked into his eyes and quickly nodded. Jack smiled "Then trust me when I say. I'm going to kill that masked freak. Alright?"

She nodded again as she hugged into him more. He smiled "Now let's get that wound cleaned up."

They both came back over to the party to see everyone left except for the few people who were sitting on the couch watching a Halloween movie. Tatum looked around "Where's Sidney?"

Stu turned over a little shocked but quickly covered it up "Her and Billy went up to my parent's room to make up."

Jack shrugged "Hey Stu you got a first aid kit around here. Tatum broke a bottle and cut herself."

Stu went back to the movie "Upstairs in the bathroom."

Jack grabbed on to Tatum's hand and dragged her upstairs to the bathroom. They went inside as Jack locked the door behind them.  He then sat her on the covered-up toilet as he went looking in the cabinet for the first aid kit.

Tatum watched as he pulled out the first aid kit and started to look through it. "You seem like you know what you're doing."

Jack shrugged "Parents luckily taught me how to take care of myself. Plus, with fighting it's good to know how to patch yourself up."

He kept looking through the kit but could not find any gauze or wrapping. "Damn."

He looked over and grabbed a clean towel from the cabinet "Here put this on your arm."

Tatum grabbed it and placed it against her cut "How's it supposed to stay there?"

As she finished asking the question Jack took his shirt off and tore it using it to wrap around and tie the towel down.

Jack looked up at Tatum who was blushing as he was kneeling down wrapping her "You're drooling."

Tatum's eyes widened as she wiped her mouth with her other arm noticing it was dry. She blushed even more "I was not."

He smirked "You might as well have been."

He finished wrapping everything up and stood up putting the kit away. He then walked back in front of Tatum who was staring at his abs. She then traced her fingers against them. As she looked up at his eyes.

She gave a sexy smile as she kept tracing his abs looking up at him "You know I never did thank you for saving me."
