The Death Board

"Well, I don't know exactly. I just found this place while I was sneaking around." Sage explained.

Kett was mesmerized by the secret room and it's belongings. It consisted of an old table with twelve chairs around it. There was a huge fireplace which was lit brightly. Half of the light was green while the other half was of multiple colours including red, grey, gold, black and more. "What kind of a fire is this?" Kett exclaimed. "I don't know. This is the first time I'm seeing it." Sage said, his serious looking face showing how deep he was in his thoughts. "What do you mean? You must've seen it before." "I have seen the fire already but the flames were green all the time. I was also amused by the colour of it but now, it looks like we're in a dream." Kett gave a faint laugh. "Don't be silly. we aren't dreaming."

She moved her eyes away from it and made her way to the other side of the room. There was something much more interesting than the fire place. It was just an old artifact but what made it more than just an artifact was the wooden loop on top of it which was covered by a transparent net. The net was made up of smoke.

"Your Message Is Our Service."

Tiny letters were written on it. "What is this thing for?" She asked. "I don't know. Looks like a communication system. Never tried to work it out though." "Should I?" "No. I don't think it's a good idea." Sage literally barked at her.

Kett was disappointed but she couldn't hold on to it for much longer. Her eyes noticed something much more bewildering. It was labeled as "The Death Board". It looked like an ordinary notice board and but was covered with a lot of pictures of different people. Kett scanned her eyes through the pictures until she found something even more suspicious. "Dr. Linda? The boy from the cottage?" She screamed. "What the hell is going on?" Sage asked from the background but it barely hit her ears. "How come they are in here?"

"I don't know. But are those people dead? Cause I think all the people on that board are dead." Sage went on, kind of enjoying the feeling of being the One-Who-Knows. "Yes, they are." Kett said, looking down. "But how did you find out that these are all dead?" She asked. "Because I knew that girl who is straight at the middle." He said pointing his finger towards the picture of a blonde chubby girl with curly short hair. "Is she a friend of yours?" "No. I just know because I...."
