Stuck In Agony

Kett opened her eyes as she does every morning. But then it hit her. They were in the middle of a catastrophe. She quickly got out of the couch to see Sage staring at the blank wall.

  "Your tea is cold." He said.

  "Oh! I like mine cold anyways." Kett replied.

"Good for you."

She gulped down the tea and joined Sage. 

"So, what's the plan?" She asked.

"There's none. We could possibly get out of this place somehow. But what shall we do after that? Where shall we go? We're stuck."

"I know. Life is hardest when there's no purpose to it." 

They glanced at each other's helpless faces. Kett could spot the two new faces appeared on the death board as she let out a deep sigh.

"Well, at least we've got enough food to last a couple days. I vote we stay here for sometime and think this through." Proposed Kett.

"Yeah, so do I." 

The room was silenced for a minute. 

"I guess this isn't that bad after all. You see, we're always busy living our lives that we never stop to think about anything." Sage said after a while.

"Yup, we could really use some rest anyways." Kett agreed.

"But when push comes to shove, we must actually make some decisions."
