1 Chapter 1: Start of a Heartwarming Adventure
[Author Note: Story will be in first person point of view with Izumi as the MC}
*beep*
*beep*
*beep*
*bee---- kacha*
Mmmmm... I slowly open my eyes to the ringing of my alarm clock as I smash the snooze button. There's a bit of sunlight shining in my eyes through a slit in the curtains. I look to my left where my adorable wife is and thank God for having her in my life. I lean forward slowly and give her a kiss on the forehead.
"Good morning Kyoko. It's time to get up."
"Five more minutes Izumi…."
"But Kyoko were going to be late for the completion of our dream!"
"…."
"Alright, Alright, I'm getting up… Good morning Izumi" She says to me as she slowly gets up. I watch as the bed sheets slowly fall off her body and there just happens to be this perfect amount of sunlight shining down into the room towards her.
"…. goddess"
Kyoko looks at me with a blushing face and says, "stop it… you're embarrassing me"
*snicker, snicker, snicker* I start snickering at my wife's embarrassed face before giving her a kiss.
I start to get up from bed and walk to the bathroom to get my day started. I look into the mirror and I realized my hair is starting to get long again. I look at myself and I'm glad I started to exercise and workout since now I can actually fill out my tattoos.
Kyoko walked in and we started to get ready for the day.
…. [1 Hour Later]
Me and Kyoko are down in the kitchen eating our breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and grapefruits. We switch out between cooking on different days since Kyoko likes cooking more normal foods whereas I'm the baker of the family. Speaking of baking, today we are going to start the beginning of our dream. We are opening a restaurant attached to my mother's old bakery.
This restaurant is the first step towards the rest of our lives since it will be how we raise our kids in the future.
As we're getting ready to go, we receive a phone call from the construction company notifying us that the construction is complete and we can go ahead and inspect it as well as start setting everything up today if we feel like it.
We get everything ready and start walking to the building since we only live a few blocks down. When we arrive outside the building we stand there looking at the rest of our lives while my arm is on Kyokos waist and she's hugging me back with tears in her eyes when suddenly….
[Initializing Multiverse Family Tavern System….]
Me and Kyoko just look at the screen in front of us and then at each other, and then back to the screen, then back to each other, and back to the screen, then back at each other…. This goes on a few times until we both let out a scream…
""EHHHHHHH!!!!!""
[Please calm down Hosts]
"What do you mean calm down? What's going on?" I ask since I'm extremely worried about what will happen next because of all the Fan Fictions I've read.
[No need to panic Hosts, this system is not like any of those Fan Fictions that you have read online. The system is something that is made to allow you to have a fun adventure as a family to different worlds across the multiverse! There's no need to get overpowered or fight for some cause. This is just here to allow the Host and his family to have a wonderful time helping others while fulfilling your dream of owning a tavern!]
"Okay. So, Why us?" I ask the system before looking at Kyoko who seems to have this glint in her eyes that screams of her excitement for what's to come.
[It was by chance! You see, my creator has seen your life and your story and wanted to gift you with something out of goodwill so you and your family can have fun! You are not obligated to fulfill any missions like "save the universe" or "destroy the demon king". You can ignore the system and just run your tavern in your world, or you can go to another world and run the restaurant. It is completely up to you and the option will always be there 😊]
"Wow… What do you think Kyoko"
"This is AWESOME! We don't have to do anything, no obligations, no responisibily, and we can enjoy our family lives with no worry while visiting some of the different worlds from anime and novels! Izumi say yes, say yes!" Kyoko starts to shake me with excitement about this whole thing but I just want to be sure.
"So there's no obligations, or responsibilities and you'll provide everything necessary to run the tavern?"
[That is correct. As I've stated, the creator merely wanted to give you and your family a heartwarming adventure for you and your family. He will be watching but you don't have to worry about that since he literally watches everyone since he is the creator…]
"Well I don't see anything wrong with that, since he's the creator he can see anything he wants to. Will we be able to meet him one day?"
[You will certainly be able to meet with him one day. He just wishes for you and your family to have a great time]
"Okay, let's do it! A family adventure towards different universes of our choice sounds amazing!"
"Definitely, I cant wait!"
[Message received from the creator: I'm glad you two are excited with my gift, I'll be looking forward to your interactions with the different characters from other Universes and how your tavern does!

*smoke sounds* I slowly look towards Kyoko after reading the message with wide eyes…
"Honey, did that just say what I think it said…." I look at Kyoko with wide eyes and an open mouth.
"It definitely did…" Kyoko says with astonishment as love, excitement, and happiness flash in her eyes.
"HORI-SAN! WERE GONNA BE PARENTS HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" I hug Kyoko and lift her in the air while spinning around with tears in my eyes and a bright smile
*sniffle sniffle* "We did it Izumi we're going to be parents!" Kyoko says to me while crying!
"Thank you Hori-San for this wonderful gift, I love you and I promise to take care of you and our child forever!"
"I love you too Izumi! And stop calling me Hori-San…."
"Sorry, I relapsed in my excitement…"
A few minutes later I stop hugging Kyoko and look into her eyes and ask, "So! Which world first…."
