6 Chapter 5

In the original timeline, even after sealing the Stellaron, the rift would merely stop multiplying but not dissipate completely.

The planet's condition also improved following the Stellaron's recovery.

However, on Jarlio-Vi now, thanks to the presence of Great Guardian Adonis, the planet had been gradually emerging from the crisis caused by the Stellaron, even though it hadn't been sealed yet.

Perhaps the people of Belobog had exaggerated, but they had personally witnessed the rift's dissipation.

Dan Heng contemplated for a moment. "We should inform Mr. Yang about the Great Guardian," he suggested.

March Seven agreed and took out his mobile phone to share the information about Adonis with Welt Yang, also known as Mr. Yang.

[Mr. Yang: Even though I've traveled through numerous worlds, I've never encountered a situation where the Stellaron remains while the rift dissipates.]

[Mr. Yang: Hmm... Just based on your description, I can't pinpoint exactly what happened.]

[March Seven: Even Mr. Yang is unsure?]

[Mr. Yang: The galaxy is vast, and there's much I don't know. However, you can observe him more closely tomorrow and inquire if he'd like to board the Astral Express.]

[Dan Heng: Alright.]

[Galactic Baseball Woman: If he refuses, should I knock him unconscious?]

[Mr. Yang: ...]

[Mr. Yang: No, there's no need to resort to force.]

[Galactic Baseball Woman: What a shame.]

After setting her phone aside, Stelle noticed the fearful expressions in March Seven's and Dan Heng's eyes.

"You're not serious, are you?" March nervously asked.

Stelle shook her head emphatically. "Of course not, don't worry. How could I ever do something like that?"

"Alright, everyone, let's get some rest. Tomorrow, we'll be dealing with the Stellaron," Dan Heng said. "I hope it goes well this time too." He looked out the window briefly before heading back to his room.

...

The next day.

Inside Fort Creeper.

TheSeele Star rails sound of footsteps echoed—ta, ta, ta. Seele, a young woman with long purple hair and light purple eyes. She wears a purple scarf with red and white details, as well as a white, black and purple outfit with black shorts, came running to Adonis with a cheerful smile.

Waiting there for a while, the elegant Bronya, a young woman with long gray hair and matching gray eyes, wearing a short white dress with blue and gold details, two purple and blue earrings, thigh high black boots, and translucent gloves.

She wore a displeased frown. "Seele, you're late," she scolded.

"Huh," Seele responded, glancing at Bronya. "Miss of the upper district, it seems you don't understand how troublesome it is to hurry from the lower district. Besides, the outsiders haven't arrived yet, so I'm not late."

Bronya turned to glare at Seele. "Don't make excuses!"

Seele wasn't one to back down. "You're the one causing trouble!"

Adonis let out a helpless sigh. "You two..."

As soon as he spoke, both Seele and Bronya straightened up and said in unison, "Yes, Lord Guardian."

"No, never mind," Adonis said, shaking his head. Their relationship in this timeline was rather peculiar, and Adonis felt somewhat responsible for it.

Due to the altered storyline, Bronya had never been to the lower district and had never personally experienced its hardships. She didn't even know who Seele was.

Consequently, when Adonis became the Great Guardian and lifted the blockade of the lower district, Seele took on the role of leader of [Wildfire].

When Bronya saw Seele, a peer with similar responsibilities but wearing a cheerful grin, she couldn't help but step in to correct it, feeling that the other person didn't quite fit the image she had in mind.

Initially, Seele had humbly accepted Bronya's corrections, but half a month later, she began to regard Bronya as if she were an enemy. As Seele put it, "I've never seen someone with so many rules!"

In short, their relationship had started off confrontational but gradually began to thaw, and it had only recently eased.

Around this time, a messenger informed them that three outsiders were waiting outside Fort Creeper. "Lord Adonis, the three outsiders have arrived!"

Adonis nodded his head, "Good work, both of you, let's go." Adonis, accompanied by Bronya and Seele, went to meet them. They descended the long staircase together.

Adonis noticed three young members of the mole team standing next to March Seven and the others, looking like they were trying to say something.

Close by, Adonis spotted Hook, who was wearing a hat that looked like a dog's skin. He greeted Hook with a friendly tone, "Oh, it's Dark Lord Hook! What a pleasant surprise."

"Hmph! Just so you know…." Hook, initially in a grumpy mood, turned his head to respond.

However, as soon as he saw Adonis, her eyes widened, and he became a bit flustered, scratching his head and shifting his weight. "Uh, Lord Guardian, you just called me Hook."

Adonis motioned for the other two young members to join them. "So, Hook, what brings you here with these outsiders? Aren't you supposed to be in school right now?"

From behind, Seele crossed her arms and wore a stern expression. "Hook, I've reminded you many times. If you skip school, I'll have to put you in a small, dark room. It seems you've forgotten."

"I... I had a reason," Hook whispered, her head hung low, aware that she had made a mistake. She dared not look at Adonis and Seele.

"Why did you skip school today?" Seele asked, her tone unyielding.

"It's not what you think!" Hook hastily explained. "I overheard Natasha, the old witch... I mean, Natasha-sensei, saying that these three outsiders were going to take Lord Guardian to a very dangerous place. So, I came to teach them a lesson."

Adonis squatted down and gently pinched Hook's cheek. "I appreciate your concern, but I must go on with them."

"Huh?" Hook's eyes were filled with doubt as she looked at Adonis, then grabbed his arm. "Lord Guardian, can't you change your mind and not go?"

Adonis pondered for a moment. "Hmm... not this time."

"Why?" Hook asked urgently.

"Because you skipped school."

"I promise I'll never skip school again! Lord Guardian, can you change your mind?"

"I'll hold you to that promise later," Adonis replied.

Hook looked a bit puzzled and then expressed disappointment, saying, "Is this what the teacher calls... self-conceit?"

March Seven couldn't resist correcting him, clearing his throat and saying, "Ahem, Lord Hook, it's self-defeating."

Despite Hook's good intentions, he received no immediate reward. He gave March Seven an annoyed look before turning to Adonis again. "Lord Guardian, please be careful."

"Don't worry. By the way, has Little Hook already mastered such a difficult word as 'self-defeating'? It seems you've been studying diligently," Adonis chuckled softly.

"Of course! Alina, Julian, let's go back to school," Hook declared, leading the Mole team away.

Dan Heng watched them leave and remarked, "They're certainly a group of kids with distinct personalities."

The Galaxy Baseball Woman looked at Adonis with a knowing smile. "Well then, shall we go?"
